Surface excavation not exc 30cm deep and averaging 15cm deep and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches not exc 1.5 m deep and not exc 1.5 m wide and getting out in soft/ loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation over areas n.exc 1.5 m deep and getting out in soft/ loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation over areas exc 1.5 m but n.exc 3 m deep and getting out in soft/ loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming of soft / loose soil in layers n.exc 25cm complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated soil to a distance n.exc 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Use and waste of Formwork to sides of concrete foundations, footings, bases of columns, raft and raft beams, sides and soffits (if any) of foundation and plinth beams and similar work; vertical or to batter with fair finuished surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for PCC (1:4:8) type D2 (using 40mm graded stone aggregates) in foundation, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 150 mm thick granular sub base with Shingle or gravel, spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Cement concrete work in pavement / hard-standing of flexural strength 40 kg/per square centimetre in field using 400 kg of cement per cubic metre, thickness of concrete 25 cm or less complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for forming 12mm thick Expansion joints to 150 mm thick concrete slab filled with pre-formed bituminous filler and top 30mm primed and sealed with sealing compound, Grade 'A' complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for design Mix M-35 (design mix) (using 20 mm graded stone aggregates) as in foundations, including rafts, footings, foundation beams; plinth beams; bases for columns, etc.; basement slabs, under-reamed piles and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Formwork and reinforcement shall be measured and paid seperately under relevent items.

M & L for mild steel TMT bars 10 mm dia, and over cut to length, bent to shape required, including cranking, bending spirally for hooping for columns, hooking ends and binding with mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia or securing with clips complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for mild steel TMT bars 5 mm to 10 mm dia, cut to length , bent to shape required in stirrups,spacers and binders and binding with mild steel wire (annealed) and not less than 0.9 mm dia, or securing with clips complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Loose filling with aggregates of broken stone boulders of gauge 80 to 150 mm in soakage pits, soakage wells complete all as specified and directed.

S&F of mlid steel screw bolts (machine made) 50mm long, 11-15mm dia with hexagonal or sqsuare head at one end and screw the other, or screwed bolt ends, each screw end to be fitted with washer and one hexagonal or square nut, exc 5cm but n.exc 10cm long complete all as specified and directed.

S&F of Hard drawn steel wire fabric of weight exc 4 Kg per Sqm cut to lengths, bent to shape required and tying with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9mm in dia complete all as specified and directed.

S&F of Reinforced concrete pipes 450 mm dia, of class NP2, laid and jointed in cement mortar1:1 complete with collars all as specified and directed.

S&F of standard wall UPVC Pipe (SCH-40) 150 mm bore for installation of Fair LED tube complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing MS sqare plate 25.4 mm thick and 152.4X152.4 size with drilling holes, notching for wire, etc.; flat iron fillets (for securing wire mesh etc.) including all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting, etc.,and similar work conforming to Fe-290 Gde E-165 complete all as specified and directed.

Material & Labour for applying Two or more coats of 100% Premium acrylic emulsion paint having VOC less than 50 gm/litre and UV resistance as per IS 15489:2004, Alkali & fungal resistance, dirt resistance exterior paint of required shade (Company Depot Tinted) with silicon additives @ 1.43 litre/ 10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 0.90 litre/ 10 sqm over new surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

Material & Labour for preparation and applying Two or more coats of non skid epoxy paint complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of old concrete/bituminous painted surface and applying one coat of water based road marking paint of white/yellow or orange shades as approved exc 10cm width or girth with rewriting letters, figures, symbols, lines etc complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for providing water proof insulation for pit wall and floor by installing a bituminous based elastomeric membrane of min thickness of 1.5 mm covered with 1" foamular 250 (cold climate) insulation board complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Plain cement concrete 1:3:6 type C1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregates) as in surface channels and drains including necessary formwork complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for application of solvent cement of Oatey or equivalent for joining PVC complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for solvent cement cleaner of Oatey or equivalent for clearing PVC complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for solvent cement primer of Oatey or equivalent for joining PVC complete all as specified and as directed .

Fabrication only for Mild steel bolts purpose made with hexagonal or square head one end and screwed the other, or screwed both ends;each screwed end to be fitted with washers and one hexagonal or square not exc 30 cm long & dia exc 20mm n.exc 25 mm complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for grouting 25 mm thick under stanchion bases or grillages, etc. including any temporary shuttering to edges with cement mortar 1:2 complete all as specified and as directed

E/M WORKS

M & L for Taking out / dismantling of existing Runway Elevated fitting any type, Taxi way light, stop bar lights, Isolating Transformer, Edge lighting etc including disconnecting all Electrical wiring including transporting from the runway site upto store for safe handing to the MES Store, all as specified and directed.

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Runway Edge Lighting, Inset Light with 2 X 105 W halogen lamps with 12 inch shallow base and bottom box cpmplete with filter, reflector and necessary optics red from one side and clear from other side. The light assembly shall be waterproof complete and facilitate easy replacement of lamps without compromising the optics and water tightness. The fitting shall be powered through the base and the wire entry should not disturb the water tightness. The light fixtures shall be tested with relevant ICAO requirements and FAA specifications. Routine tests such as photometric test as per latest ICAO and leakage test, Insulation tests shall be carried out on each fixture before leaving the OEM works. The choice of colours, materials and safety complete shall be in accordance with latest ICAO specifications and with necessary references from Particular specification annexed herewith complete all as specified and directed. Supply, Laying in trenches, drawn through HDPE Conduits, Testing and commisioning of Primary airfield lighting XLPE insulated cables 5KV unearthed brass tape screened min 06 sqmm size with not less than 07 strands tinned copper single core unarmoured with PVC insulation confirming to IS:1554-Part II. The cables shall be packed in drums not less than 1000 meters each. Operating temp rang (-20 deg to + 70 deg/C). The cable shall have all standard markings at intervals of 1mtrs. The insulation shall be resistant to rodent/termites and all local weather conditions. The cable shall be type tested and routine tested before leaving factory permises as per relevant IS code compliant to ICAO Specs and with necessary references from Particular specification annexed herewith. M&L for connector kit for 5 KV primary cables, resin filled plug type suitable for conductors of cross sectional area 6 sqmm. The connectors shall be water resistant and insulation resistant in all aspects after soak test and the same shall be carried out on site as per relevant IS code as directed and with necessary references from Particular specification annexed herewith. Supply, Laying in trenches, insertion through bore holes, of 32 mm HDPE Pipe, heavy grade suitable including joints and elbow of same grade and size to serve as conduit for airfield lighting primary cables. The pipes shall be brought at site in OEM specified drums and laid suitably to facilitate easy drawing of cables through. The pipes shall be able to withstand the harsh weather conditions of airfields and shall be weatherproof and UV stabilised. The cables and laying shall be compliant with latest IS and latest ICAO guidelines. Note:- Any obstruction observed during drawing of cables shall be rectified by the contractor at no extra cost.

Supply, fixing in place, testing and commisioning of Cast Iron housing box cylindrical shape 330 mm Dia and 450 mm height with 10 mm thick cast Iron body. The top plate shall be of 15 mm thick suitable to receive a light fitting base plate. The body shall have clear holes at 75mm height from bottom surface for AFL cable entery 32 mm HDPE pipe and check nuts. The box shall have two earth bolts of M-10 x 30 mm welded inside near the cable entry hole on one side and having a drain hole at the bottom. Suitably tapped to receive 15 mm dia GI pipe and having clear opening of 220 mm at the top surface, and 6 Nos M-10 tapped hole at the center 260 mm dia to receive fitting base plate and bolts as required confirming to ICAO specifications and with necessary references from Particular specification annexed herewith.

Supply, testing commisioning, Isolating Transformer copper wound completely enclosed polyester resin cast neoprene rubber covered 5 KV, 50 HZ suitable for runway lighting applications of capacity 200-6.6-0.95, 90-6.53 confirming to IS 12290. Operating temp range -20 deg C TO 55 deg C. Primary 5 KV and secondary 0.6 KV voltage range. The transformer shall be supplied with two primary leads and two secondary leads and shall pass all routine tests before dispatch. Each transformer shall be accompained with test certificate and marking plates as per ICAO Rules and with necessary references from Particular specification annexed herewith. Supply and laying of 40 mm dia GI pipe (Light grade) including accessories as T Joint, end cap, elbow etc to lay in under kerb cutting area for running cable complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for kerb cutting in existing asphalt surface of size 75mm x 100 mm deep for laying Gl conduit including accessories required & filing material matching with existing surface (DBM/M10) and making good as per existing surface complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for earthing complete with copper earth plate electrode 600 mm x 600 mm x 3.15 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 m deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 m below normal ground level, connected to copper strip 20 x 3 mm by means of bolts nuts, check nuts & washers of copper, GI tubing 32 mm bore light grade, PCC (1:3:6) including joints and elbow of same grade and size type C1, pre cast RCC(1:2:4) type B1 cover slab 45 x 45 x 5 cm with one handle for lifting, made out of 8mm dia ms bar, wiremesh, 20 mm bore GI tubing for watering, charcoal or coal and salt in alternate layers including excavation earth work complete as per electrical Plate No. 3 of SSR Part-I, all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing copper strip of size 20 x 3 mm thick with saddles and fixing screws etc for earth continuity conductors for use above 7.5 mtrs from existing earth conductors above ground. The conductors shall be joined using 10 mm dia copper nut bolts and washers complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying & Laying in trenches Clear Sand for cushioning under ground cable 8 cm below and 15 cm above and punned down to athickness of 18cm which will be measured and paid complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Boring of holes under road, pavement, hard standing by trenchless technology using ultra sounding technique and necessary machine including HDPE pipe of 150 mm dia and elbows, joints suitable for 0.4 MPA working pressure complete all as specified and directed. .
