Repair/rectification for street/security light/ perimeter light/ flood light any type, capacity & make to make the security/street lights in serviceable condition as intimated by JE E/M / Engineer -in- Charge after rectification/trace out the fault which includes removing of street/security light fitting from LT/HT PCC/steel tubular/swan neck poles, refixing after repair, tightening of loose connection on ACSR conductor/with bus bar chamber/in DB, replacement of ballast, lamp, ignitor, lamp holder, capacitor, replacement of glass, jumper breakage, replacement of connection wire or any other part and refixing in proper alignment on GI pipe bracket or by other means as per site requirement incl replacement of screws,nut,bollts washers as reqd, proper connection with PVC insulation tape etc complete to keep the light in serviceable condition through out the period of contract by repairing one time all as directed to the entire satisfaction of JE E/M / Engineer-in-Charge Note : (i) Worn out/ damaged/ unserviceable parts to be replaced shall be measured and paid for separately under relevent items of sch 'A' as supply only and fixing is deemed to be included under this item. (ii) All the T&P and transportation required for the work shall be arranged by the contractor which shall be deemed to be included in quoted rate. Contractor shall provide the all type of T & P i.e. tools, insulation tape, ladder any type etc to electrician for attending the complaints. The quoted rate include the cost of minor items i.e. screws, nuts, washers for light fitting etc. (iii) Contractor shall provide & maintain the register regarding 100% serviceability of security lights duly signed by the JE/Engr-in-Charge, contractor, unit rep. (iv) The work will be carried out on day to day at as per direction of JE/ Engr-in-charge. (v) The electrician shall receive the complaint from JE /Engineer -In -Charge on complaint slip and after completion of job the slip shall be deposited to JE /Engineer -In -Charge daily duly signed by users. The printed complaint slip and compliant register shall be arranged by the contractor without any extra cost. (vi) The contractor shall arrange one electrician and one helper in one shift for 0900 hrs to 1700hrs on daily basis except sunday and holidays. (vii) An inventory for the parts/spares which are found unserviceable and requir replacement with new parts/spare shall be prepared and kept in record duly signed by Engr-in-charge and contractor. (viii) In case non deployment/absence of staff from duty recovery @850/- per day for electrician and Rs. 550/- per day for helper shall be recovered from the contractor's dues. The record of presence of workmen with name and details shall be maintained with signature of JE E/M, Engr-in-Charge and contractor. The decision of accepting officer shall be final and binding.

Repair and maintenance of DG sets 82.5 KVA capacity with carry out servicing as per the OEM is manual based as hours run/ vintage of the DG set, inspecting all the parts for its further serviceability i.e air intake system, fuel system, lubricating system, cooling system and electrical system,cleaning,calibration of each parts of the system, replacement of defective parts, and fixing of serviceable parts, rectification of leakage of fuel and oil,, cleaning /replacement of all the filter elements,calibration of FIB, toping up of radiator coolent replacement of engine gasket set, replacement of engine oil, complete cleaning of out door body and inner body. Notes for Sr Item No 44 to 46 (i) New spare parts and engine oil shall be measured and paid separately under respective items. (ii) Labour charges for replacement of old engine oil and old defective spare parts shall be deemed included in quoted rates. (iii) Cost of routine lubrication/ greasing to spare parts, lubricants/grease, tightening of nut, bolts and washers etc. shall deemed included in quoted rates. (iv) Cost of fixing and transportation of all components/ spare parts required being repair, of DG sets from site to workshop for repair and workshop to site after repair shall be deemed included in quoted rates. (v) Periodical routine maintenance/ checkup of diesel generator sets shall be carried out as per TI-04 of 1984 and maintenance record, prepared/ maintained by contractor and signed by concerned JE E/M, Engineer-In-Charge and Contractor. This maintenance record shall be produce to Garrison Engineer whenever asked.

(vi) Periodical routine maintenance/ checkup of diesel generator sets shall be carried out as per following periodicity: a) Stage-I (Monthly): (i) Cleaning of air cleaner/ filter. (ii) Changing of lubricants and oil filter elements. (iii) Cleaning of fuel tanks and cleaning of fuel filter elements. (iv) Cleaning of radiator cooling fins and top up of coolant. v) Cleaning of line cylinder head fins, in case of air cooled engines. (vi) Checking of all electrical instruments/indicating or any other gauge i.e. frequency meter,voltmeter, ammeter, revolution meter, Hrs run meter, water temp gauge, fuel gauge etc for satisfactory functioning. (b) Stage-II (Quarterly): (i) Changing of engine oil, if required, and clean the pre-cleaner bowl. (ii) Check/ open radiator fins, and clean, if chocked/ blocked. (iii) Check button filter in banjo bolt of feed pump. (iv) Drain the water from water separator, if provided. (v) Check all external fasteners as per specified torques. (vi) battery lead connections. (vii) Check belt alignment and belt condition. (viii) Check turbo changer. (ix) Leakage in air take/ exhaust of exhaust piping (x) Lubrication to the turbo charger,Oil filter. (xi) Repair work shall be carried out by authorised dealer (xii) Spare parts used during repair shall be only as per the original make (xiii) After completion testing of DG Set shall be carried out on Full load test in the presence of Engineer-in-Charge (xiv) The fuel for testing shall be born by contractor and shall be deemed to include in quoted rates.

Taking out old defective repairable injection nozzle from existing DG set of 82.5 KVA capacity and transport to workshop for any type of repair, overhauling and calibration including installation back to same DG set, including testing, complete all as specified and directed.

Cleaning of fuel tank of any capacity for DG set 82.5 KVA to 30KVA any type(inbuilt in canopy/ separate storage tank) DG Set by removing all silt /dirt/ all residual, foreign particles any type etc, removing any type of leakage by welding/brazing and writing date of cleaning with synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out FIP from DG set of 30/40 KVA capacity, transportation to manufacturer's authorised service centre and recallibration & transpotation to same or other location as directed incl. replacement of all necessary spare parts such as delivery valves , plunger , 'O' ring spring etc complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out FIP from DG set of 62.5/82.5 KVA capacity, transportation to manufacturer's authorised service centre and recallibration & transpotation to same or other location as directed incl. replacement of all necessary spare parts such as delivery valves , plunger , 'O' ring spring etc complete all as specified and directed.

Repair and maintenance of DG set control panel, checking all the electrical connections of engine/alternator/ control panel instruments ie lub oil, pressure gauge,temprature gauge, ameter, battery , volt meter,ac volt meter,ac ameter, frequecny meter etc, calibration of modules microprocessor, tightening all the connection, replacement of defective wiring & cable and lugs of DG set of cap 30KVA to 63KVA DG set and replacing of the following parts spare partsshall be measured and paid separately under respective items as supply only as under :-

Supply and fix in repair for bus bar chamber outdoor type, comprising of encloser made out of 3.15 mm thick CRCA sheet of size 0.6 X 0.50 X 0.35 mtr , powder coated with 04 Nos of aluminium bus bar of 100 Amps 1100 volts grade, fixed and including insulators with provn of 04 X incoming/outgoing cable hole and provided with rubber bushes with provn of earth connection duly provided with angle iron frame stand of size 40x40x5 mm with 40 cm grouted in PCC and 40 cm above the ground level in and including with necessary PCC and earth work complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling and Taking down old U/S PCC LT/Steel pole of any size including earth work , removing the PCCetc complete all as specified and directed

Errecting of steel tubular/PCC LT pole retrieved against the respective item as above complete where required and planted in the earth in PCC (1:3:6) type C2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate in foundation all as specified and directed. Note :- Earth work and PCC work shall be measured and paid separately.

Dismantling insulators any type, any size and depositng to the same to the MES store yard.
