AMC FOR E1B DATABASE AND POSTING MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE SYSTEM INSTALLED AT E-IN-Cs BRANCH NEW DELHI

Annual Maintenance contract for maintenance of E1B Database and Posting Management software System as mentioned below of E-in-C’s Branch, Kashmir House, New Delhi :- (FOR ELEVEN MONTHS) (a) Software maintenance services shall primarily include removal of bugs and malfunctioning issues. This shall be in the form of client assistance. Troubleshooting, analysis of malfunction documentation bug fixes and patches for the software. (b) In case any free revision to the software developed by the vendor on their own, the same shall be provided to the client as part of the AMC Services (Revision refers to a version of the maintained software with updates, modifications patches, fixes, or changes that is less substantial change to the maintained software than an upgrade. (c ) In case any free upgrade to the software has been developed by the vendor, the same shall be provided to the client. (Upgrade means a version of the maintained software with major new features of significant enhancements and as indicated by a change in the release number). Note :- The exclusion from the AMC are given as under :- (a) In case client asks for any revision or any upgrade in the Software, other than a free revision or upgrade provided by the vendor on his own, this service shall be charged for over and above the fixed annual cost of the AMC. No new feature or change request will be taken as a part of this contract. This shall be considered as a separate development task. The current software is being hosted at the Client premises. The responsibility of uptime of machine and availability to the vendor shall be ensured by the Client. The vendor will only take the responsibility of uptime of application server and database and not of the machine or any other hardware. Similarly, the network and all related hardware for the LAN on which the application is run, are managed by the Client. The availability of such LAN shall be ensured by the Client. Vendor shall not be responsible for anyu errors in any hardware and network since these are managed by the Client. Data updating in the software shall be the responsibility of the Client. In case the Client asks for any features or additions to the installed Modules, or any features that alter the utility or functional capabilities of the software, the Client may treat these as a fresh work and float a separate supply order to cover these. Payment for AMC:-Vendor will claim the quarterly payment from the concerned payment agency after taking NOC from user. There after Quarterly payment will be done to the firm. which will be granted at the end of each Qtr by the payment agency. Penalty Clause:- In the event of non-rectification of issue by the firm’s representative leading to major breakdown/ major software rectification exceeding more than two working days, there will be a penalty of Rs 2,500/- (Rupees Two thousand five hundred only) upto one week from date of breakdown and thereafter Rs 1000/- (Rupees one thousand only) per day and the amount will be deducted from the subsequent qtr payment.
