Repair and Maintenance to JM Road to Kathiguda in the District of Malkangiri for the year 2025-26

Clearing and grubbing road land including uprooting wild vegetation, grass, bushes, shrubs, saplings and trees of girth upto 300 mm, removal of stumps of such trees cut earlier and disposal of unserviceable materials and stacking of serviceable material to be used or auctioned, upto a lead of 1000 m including removal and disposal of top organic soil not exceeding 150 mm in thickness as per MoRD Specification for Rural roads Clause 201 by manual means as per the direction of the Engineer in charge.

Scarifying the existing bituminous road surface to a depth of 50mm and disposal of scarified material with inall lifts and lead upto 1000metres. as per the direction of the Engineer in charge. Unit = sqm Taking output = 100sqm(A/R-2006 page-156 item No-34).

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to wet mix macadam specification including pre mixing the material with water at OMC in mechanical mix plant, carriage of mixed material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers with paver in subbase/base course on well prepared surface and compacting with vibratory roller to achieve the desired density as per Clause 406 of MoSRT&H Specifications for Road & Bridge works (4th Revision) as per the direction of the Engineer in charge.

Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion (SS-1) on prepared surface of granular base including cleaning of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.70-1.0 kg/sqm using mechanical means as per MORD Technical Specification Clause 502 for low porosity surface and as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and applying tack coat with Bitumen emulsion (RS-1) using emulsion distributor at the rate of 0.25 to 0.30 kg per sqm on the prepared granular surfaces treated with primer & cleaned with Hydraulic broom as per Technical Specification Clause 503 of MoRD & as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing, laying bituminious mecadam with hot mix plant using crushed aggregates of specified grading premixed with bituminous binder of 60/70 penetration grade of bitumen etc. as per the direction of the Engineer in charge.

Providin & laying Semi Dense Bituminous Concret with batch type hot mix plant using crushed aggregates of specified grading, premixed with bituminous binder of 60/70 penetration grade of bitumen, transporting the hot mix to site, laying with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensore control to the required grade, level & alingment, roling with smooth wheeled,vibratory & tandem rollers to achieve the desire compaction as per clause 508 of MoSRT&H Specifications for road and bridge works & as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Construction of embankment with approved material obtained from borrow pits with all lifts and lead,transporting to site by mechanical means within a lead of 5 km,spreading,grading to required slope and compacting to meet requirements as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing & spreading moorum and consolidation with HRR including watering, cost & conveyance of Moorum as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
