Construction of subgrade and earthen shoulders with approved material lifts and leads, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacted to meet requirement of Table 300.2 with as per Technical Specification Clause 303.1

Ordinary Soil

Construction of granular sub-base (Grading-I) by providing well graded material, spreading in uniform layers with motor grader on prepared surface, mixing by mix in place method with rotavator at OMC, and compacting with smooth wheel roller to achieve the desired density, complete as per Technical Specification Clause 401.

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with 3 wheeled steel/ vibratory roller 8-10 tonnes in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming crushable screening to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density grading 2 as per Technical specification clause 405

Providing, laying, spreading and compacting stone aggregates of specific sizes to water bound macadam specification including spreading in uniform thickness, hand packing, rolling with 3 wheeled steel/ vibratory roller 8-10 tonnes in stages to proper grade and camber, applying and brooming crushable screening to fill up the interstices of coarse aggregate, watering and compacting to the required density grading 3 as per Technical specification clause 405

Brick edging on both side of road of 1st class brick 8 cm. (3") wide and 12 cm. (4.5) deep laid with mud mortar all labour finished to the required template and in proper alignment and also including dressing and ramming the excavated earth including all labour, T&P sudries required for proper completion of work material.

Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion (SS) on prepared surface of granular Base including clearing of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.70 kg/sqm using mechanical means as per Technical specifications Clause 502

Providing and applying tack coat with bitumen VG-10 at the rate of 0.35 kg per sqm on the prepared bituminous/granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom.

Providing, laying and rolling of open-graded premix surfacing of 20 mm thickness composed of 13.2 mm to 5.6 mm aggregates either using penetration grade bitumen or cut back or emulsion to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base by suitable HMP and laying with paver- finisher and rolling with a three wheeled 8-10 tonne static roller capacity, finished to required level and grades to be followed by seal coat of either Type C as per Technical Specification Clause 508.

Providing and laying seal coat sealing the voids in a bituminous surface laid to the specified levels, grade and cross fall using Type C, as per Technical Specification Clause 510
