The MD Controller shall be equipped with following features:- Monitoring - Max demand profile during a billing cycle. Demand peaks with date & time can be identified in the meter . The events can be studied and related with the min/ max load events such as starting of Large pumps/ AC Plants etc., and helps to decide on switching/ staggering of loads etc. Control - MD Controller should enables user to program the threshold values of max demand and initiate ALARM/ CUT-OFF when the Forecast Demand/ Present Demand/ Max Demand surpasses the threshold values, so ad to enable the system from not exceeding the sanctioned demand and avoid causing a trip or paying huge penalty.

Item No. 48.00 Contd... Additional Load - Shall be able to decide to transfer the exact quantum of load from EB to DG or vice versa for economic power. High Low Event Recording for V, A, Hz, VA, W, VAr, PF Protection of 3 phase system against single phasing, low & high voltage, over load, highly lagging and leading PF, Hz etc. Navigator can trap such events for future reference. Identify, record unbalance voltage, currents and helps the user to identify the root cause. Unbalance over-burdens the electrical system and affects in the form of over loading of cables, motors and switchgear. PF Management : Lower the Avg PF higher the system inefficiency. The Digital output features shall initiate alarm when the Avg PF crosses the user programmed threshold values (Lead/ Lag). Switch Gear (ACB or MCCB) required Shunt trip coil (230VAC) to trip the same when demand crossed the thresh hold value. Note: Rates for Provision & fixing in the existing panel/ with suitable enclosure is deemed to be included in the quoted rates. No extra payment will be done on this account. Make : Elmeausre/ L&T or equivalent.

M&L for control wiring including defining logic for MD Controller for Item No 89 above from Switchgear Relaying/ Trip circuit with suitable interposing relay or trip contacts with suitable size of multi core copper control wiring to monitor, alert, controlling MD by provision of hooter for alerting the duty operator in case of exceeding MD for the designed threshold values. Note: 1. Contractor should inspect the site before quoting the tender. Control wiring system any No of runs and Length suitable for MD controller shall be done by the Rep of OEM of MD Controller and shall study the loading pattern and design the control system complete including the features of controller. After finishing the job OEM rep shall submit the test report by mentioning all set parameters. Note 2: Any defect/ damage to the MD controller shall be attended in 24 hrs till DLP. Failing the penalty/ excess demand charges if any paid by department to TSEB shall be reimbursed by the contractor.

M&L for attending, repair and rectification of external LT electric supply complaints on up to 1100 Volts grade, over head/ underground system alongwith necessary T&P, safety devices as per site requirement for the following type of complaints complete all as specified and directed:-

Replacement of worn out jumpers, jointing and tightening with new ACSR conductor. Note:- Single phase/ two wire or 3 phase/ 4 wire system will be considered as one job for payment purpose.

Disconnecting from over head conductor, cutting worn out portion of LT cables of any type and size, carry out repairs including taking out cables from under ground loop line and rejoining the same to restore electric supply. Note :- (i) LT Jointing Kits, Cable protection Pipe if required at site will be measured and paid separately. (ii) Quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of cutting and removing the pole coping and inserting the cable alongwith protection pipes.

Taking down old unsv Street light / flood light fittings in any position of any capacity for Repair by replacement of unsv spares ( SPD / Driver / Mcpcb etc ) and re-fixing the same in existing location. Note:- Spares for repair of street light fittings will be measured and paid under respective items.

Notes for Item Nos 51.01 to 51.03 :- (a) The contractor will be allotted complaints at MES complaint cell on daily basis on all working days and sufficient resources will be deployed by him/ her for completion of day to day complaint within 24 Hrs from the time of reporting. Any delay beyond above mentioned time limit without intimation of sufficient cause, penalties will be recovered twice of the quoted rate for each un-attended complaint. (b) A detailed log of complaints with completion/ non-completion remarks from users/ MES will be maintained by the contractor and the same will be updated on daily basis in consultation with Engr-in-Charge or JE E&M as detailed. (c) The contractor will make suitable arrangement for emergency complaints and will notify auth rep/ Engr-in-Charge about extraordinary circumstances for probable non-completion or delay in rectification of complaints beyond stated time limit set for disposal of complaint. In case of any dispute the decision of accepting officer will be final and binding in this regard. (d) The contractor will intimate MES authority well in advance if electric shutdown is required during rectification of complaints. (e) The quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of transportation and other expenses required for the resource deployment at the complaint site around scattered Military station at Secunderabad. (f) The contractor will maintain location wise record of each spare utilized as per inventory format given by AGE E/M, Secunderabad and the same shall be submitted to E/M No II store on daily basis.

Supplying, erecting and fixing steel tubular swaged poles with cast iron base plate of size 300mm x 300mm x 6mm, finial taper plug, bolts, nuts & screws for type 410 SP-31 (9.0 mtrs long) ( in replacement of steel/ PCC pole ) including painting with two coats of aluminium paint over one coat of red oxide primer on all exposed surfaces and tarring with black bituminous paints to embedded portion in PCC and providing 3 Nos of 30cm wide circular bands with black & yellow paint starting from plinth level at a gap of 30 cm in between 2 bands and numbering of poles, in yellow paint over black painted back ground at a height of 2m from bottom of pole with 5 cm large bold letters 2" (inch) wide including taking down old unserviceable PCC poles of any type complete all as specified and directed. Note: Excavation, earth work, PCC in foundation and coping shall be measured and paid separately under relevant item of this schedule.

Restreching/ Restringing, tightening and repair to overhead line ACSR conductor of any size on LT poles including necessary Aluminium binding wire connectors PVC sleeves for jumper, fixing of insulators and pruning of tree complete all as specified and directed. Notes: (i) The distance between pole to pole in one span (contains 2/ 4/ 6 runs) i.e. one span will only be considered for payment purpose. (ii) No Extra conductor will be measured for binding to insulators / jumpering etc.

Excavation in trenches, n exc 1.5 m wide and n exc 1.5 m in depth, for foundation of PCC/ Steel pole, laying of cable in trenches etc and getting out in Hard / Dense soil complete all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 96.00 above but depth exc 1.5 mtr but not exc 3 mtr.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25 cm in soils complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material (soils) n exc. 50m and depositing where directed at a level n exc. 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Spreading riddled earth (after preparation of excavated earth) in Cable duct for cushioning of cable laid in trenches complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge Note:- Punned thickness 18 CM (6.25 Cm below cable and 11.75 cm above cable) will be measured for payment purpose. The earth removed during excavation to be used as riddled earth after crushing and sieving. Quoted rate inclusive of all arrangement as mentioned.

Supply and Laying bricks, common burnt clay building bricks, sub class 'B' of size 210 x 115 x 75 mm laid across in trenches for cable protection complete all as specified and directed.

Laying only old Brick in trenches for Under Ground Cable Protection (Serviceable Materials obtained from Item No. 1 here-in-before), complete all as directed.

Supplying and laying reinforced precast concrete cable cover class LV , Type 1 flat with size 250mm x150 mm x 40mm all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L PCC 1:4:8 type D2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate for filling & foundation of pole & mass complete all as directed

M&L PCC 1:3:6 type C2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate for filling & foundation of pole & stay complete all as directed

M&L PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate for coping of pole complete all as directed

Cutting the existing road/ PCC surface straight by manual, depth and width not less than 1 mtr below ground level for passing of underground cable and filling back with excavated soil up to 75% road portion and 25% shall be made with cement concrete 1:2:4 (using 20 mm graded aggregate stone complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for road crossing/ drain crossing by adopting trench less tunnelling work through specified pipe jacking method by erecting the equipment to true to the alignment and gradient by hydraulic pipe jacking technique complete including tunnelling, excavation in any type of soils including hard rock, HDPE / GI pipe medium duty of size 100 mm dia in any length including jointing materials to carry LT UG cables of size up to 240 Sqmm and necessary conveyance charges of machinery and other required materials in co-ordination with the concerned authorities complete all as specified and as directed. NOTE ; PIPE WILL BE MEASURED AND PAID SEPARATELY UNDER RELIVENT ITEMS

M&L for replacement of broken earth pit made out of PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded crushed stone aggregate, 20mm thick and earth pit cover made out of RCC 1:2:4 type B1 cover reinforced with 8mm dia MS deformed bars @ 100mm centre to centre both ways with hook made out of 8mm dia bar, watering arrangement with funnel and wire mesh and including reconnecting of earth lead of any type with new nuts, bolts and washers etc as required at site complete all as specified and directed.

M&L repair/ maintenance of stay by tightening of stay wire after untying the conductor spans from the poles to make correct tensions and maintain verticality of poles, including re-jointing the conductors in position with new binding wire complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for painting the existing LT steel poles of 9.0 Mtr long including cross arms, clamps, street light junction boxes etc with 1 coats of aluminium paint including thoroughly cleaning the existing surface, writing of pole numbers in yellow circle 15 cm with black paint on poles. Painting the poles up to 1.5 Mtr height with alternate bands 30 cm height (3 Nos black and 2 Nos Yellow) from ground level, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Painting the existing LT PCC poles with 1 coats of synthetic enamel base paint including painting of cross arms, clamps, etc with one coat of aluminium paint and providing alternative band of 30 cm width (3 black and 2 yellow) from bottom of pole to 1.5 metres height , writing of pole numbers in yellow circle15 cm with black paint on poles complete all as specified and directed.

Advance Maintenance Free G.I. SAFE EARTHING Electrode with PIPE of not less than 50 mm outer dia) and two meter length, The electrode should be of galvanised (80 -100 micron) along with earth lead as Galvanised steel strip of size 32 X6 mm 7.5 m . The GI Electrode shall be pre-filled with Crystalline Conductive Material (CCM) . The GI electrode shall be surrounded with 25 kg Backfill compound to provide maximum contact between the electrode and Back Fill Compound. The earthing pit cover should be factory built ( size TOP- 10 Inch, Bottom -13 Inch, Height 10.25 Inch ) made of heavy duty Polypropylene complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement galvanised steel strip 32X6 mm with saddles and fixing screws on porcelain insulator/ spacer fixed at every 1 mtr length as lightening conductor on roof/ wall of explosive building and joining the same with existing earth test point all as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Trimming/ pruning and removing of tree branches or any other foreign objects from HT/ LT over head conductor and clearing the OH Line of any type and size for one span of any length in 2 way / 4 way/ 6 way conductor system. Notes: (i) Insulators of any type, connectors and ACSR conductor of any size required at site will be measured and paid separately under relevant item of this schedule. (ii) The contractor is responsible for provision of Necessary T & P and safety equipments to complete the job.

Cutting unaxious green growth and grass by manual labour or by machine at all 11 KV Electric Installation premisses/ around 2/ 4 Pole structure/ along the boundary fencing and removing rubbish from the site of work complete all as specified and directed.
