M&L for detecting and repairing leakages in CI/DI/GI pipelines of size 350/250mm/200mm bore, taking up unserviceable/ serviceable CI/DI water mains 250 mm / 200mm bore with spigot and socket ends (including fittings) of any type/grade and joints from trenches and laying new DI pipelines of size 250mm/ 200mm bore in trenches or placing on pillars/supports including testing on completion complete all as specified and as directed at site indlcuing the the following : - (a) Excavation and earthwork in soil / mud by using machinery/ labour to suitable length (approx 10 metre) and forming bund with excavated soil to avoid sea / raw water entering into the working area including pumping / bailing out water by using portable diesel engine driven pumpset. (b) Cutting of CI/DI pipe of size 250mm/ 200mm bore after thorough inspection for the damaged pipeline including disconnecting / dismantling. (c) Taking out CI/DI pipe with CI/DI specials after removing from joints / burning out joints and recovering lead at both ends with the help of Hydraulic Crane or other machinery and keeping aside for further disposal (d) Cutting the new pipe into pieces as per requirement and laying using machinery (e) Aligning the pipe line as per site condition, inserting the CI/DI collar suitable for 250mm / 200mm bore pipe. (f) Attending the repair work within a minimum period as specified by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for attending of water supply complaints for any leakage / blockage in GI pipe lines of size 20mm / 25mm bore taking up serviceable / unserviceable GI water pipe lines all fittings/fixtures from trench including supply and laying GI tubing 20mm/25mm bore up to 1 mtr length (max) including necesssary cutting, threading and replacement of unserviceable GI fittings such as GI socket /Nipple/union socket / Tee /reducer etc. suitable for 20mm/25mm including necessary excavation and earth work up to 1 Cum to repair the leakage / clearing the blockage in the pipe line and testing on completion complete all as directed at site NOTE : Excavation more than 1 Cum and GI fittings shall be measured and paid seperately under relevent item of this schedule.
