Overhauling of HT OCB 11 KV, 400 Amps, 250 MVA of Make Crompton Greaves/MEI/GEC/ Alstom installed at various locations after taking shut down from department and opening both incoming and outgoing connections, dismantling complete Circuit Breaker after detaching oil tank and draining out oil in a separate container and cleaning of oil tank throughly and carrying out the following repair work :- (i) Taking out complete parts of OCB separately viz. like ARC control pot assembly, jack ring , contact main, TULIP contact finger assembly, terminal bushing, moving contact block, fixed contact block, pick off spring assembly, moving ARC, Contact ARC, assembly of main moving contact, speed control device assembly etc and checking the same for its serviceability/ suitability for refixing, cleaning the OCB externally and internally including all parts thoroughly as per standard practice (also cleaning the male female contacts with emery papers and insulator with CRS spray and applying petrolium jelly/grease to the moving parts), reassembling complete parts of OCBs including replacement of existing unserviceable parts /components all as approved and directed. (ii) Taking out complete parts of Truck & Hoist Assembly, after removing old grease checking the same for its suitability/ serviceability and reassembling complete truck and hoist assembly after replacement of defective parts all as approved and directed including greasing and oiling the complete mechanism as per standard practice. (iii) Servicing of dependent/independent mechanism and spring charging mechanism including replacement of spares comprising of scope as under :- (a) Recommissioning including testing of HT OCB for overload setting and adjustment. (b) Recommissioning of complete Truck and Hoist assembly all as directed (iv) Checking/testing/servicing of tank assembly/barrier, solenoid machianism, trip unit assembly, BUS bar spout epoxy cast side entry cable base busing, arrangment with drawable type PT assembly of male female housing etc complete including repalcement of defective parts with new all as directed.

(v) Over hauling of HT panel of each OCB including cleaning of bus bar chamber, CT's and painting all exposed surfaces with one coat of insulation paint of same colour and replacement of control fuses, replacement of panel heater and bus bar insulators all as directed and painting Alphabet/Numbers with bold letters upto 5 cm height with black colour. (vi) Checking/repairing the auxillary wiring. (vii) Testing of relays, CT & PT units and relay settings etc. NOTES: (i) Cost of all the materials, repairs and works as specified above as well as all the other elements (except followings) to make the OCB's fully functional shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rates :- (a) Cost for supply only of the components/parts/spares catered for under item Nos 164 to 171 to the extent required and operated here-in-after.

M&L for dismantling HT 22 KV SF6 braker Make - ABB, open the cable termination compartement, Dismantle the HT cable temination burnt spout insulator, copper termination rod, rubber bushings and CTs and replace with new spout insulator, rubber bushings, CTs and copper cable termination rod, after replacing the above components, clean the splashes over compartment, servicing the entire braker, testing the braker standard parameters and set the Earth fault and over current relay all as per existing setting, after carryout above repairs, Megerring the braker for Phase to Phase and earth to phase, earth fault values with HT Megar, clean all the splashes over compartment completely , clean all spout insulator , Rubber insulator etc, complete all as specified and directed. Note : (a) Technician to be engaged for carrying out Maintenance Shall have HT Licence (b) Prior Liaison shall be done with the supply agency for HT Power Shut Down.

M&L for dismantling HT 22 KV Fuse from fuse compartment of SF6 braker of Make - ABB, replacing with new fuse of rating IN- 16 Amps, U N -24 KV, 13 - 55 A, 11- 63 KA, including Cleaning the fuse compartment, complete fuse shall be of Cat No 1YMB531004M0003 of ABB Make. Note- a) Technician to be engaged carrying out Maintenance Shall have HT Licence. (b) Prior Liaison shall be done with the supply agency for HT Power Shut Down.

M & L for servicing IDMT relays (Two Nos over current and one No earth fault relays) fixed in 11 KV HT panels for primary and secondary injection and calibration of all the relays and setting the relay tripping timings in advance to match the outgoing load on the Incoming and outgoing feeders, complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in replacement of old unserviceable battery charging unit Input - 230 VAC and Out Put 30 V DC, Maximum 10 Amps Current Out Put for charging of battery bank.

Supply and fix in replacement battery back up unit including of 2 Volt, 100 AH VRLA battery - 15, interconnection link for connecting batteries to achive 30 Volt out put. Make of Battery shall be Exide, Amaron, Amco

Material and labour for scrapping of old paint and applying two coats of Aluminium paint over a coat of Red oxide all for 22 KV two pole structure including GOD & operating rod

M&L for earthing complete with copper earth plate electrode 600x 600x 3 mm buried directly in ground with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 mtrs below normal ground level and connected to earth test point by means of copper Strip of size 20x3 mm all as specified and shown in electric plate No 3 of MES SSR Part-I including necessary excavation and earthwork, PCC chamber, CI cover, GI protection and watering pipe, pipe 25mm bore, sight grade funnel, mesh etc all as required at site and all as directed and including taking down of old earthing materials, complete all as specified and directed. Notes: (1). Cost for provision of 7.5 Rm Copper strip and G I protection pipe 25mm bore, light grade shall also deemed to be included in quoted rates. (2). Earth resistance of earth pit should be less than 0.5 Ohms. On testing, if the desired earth resistance is not obtained, the earthing will be redone at no extra cost. (3) Rate quoted by the tenderer shall also be deemed to include salt & Charcoal fillings upto & above 450 mm top of Copper plate.

S&F copper strip of size 20 x 3.00mm including welding, brazing and taking down of old copper strip as required at site, complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour loose filling with graded coarse stone aggregate 40 mm for out type sub Stations not exceeding 15 Cm thick complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling air break gang operated switches vertical/horizontal mounted incl insulators and operating mechanism for repair/replacement of broken/worn out components and insulators etc complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing triple pole mechanically operated air break isolator (GOD), vertical mounting, rotating type, mounted on insulator and steel frame with operating mechanism worked from ground level complete in all respect such as gun metal moving contacts and spring loaded gun metal fixed jaws, knife copper jumper strip etc, suitable for 22000 Volts grade, 50 Hz, with 9 insulator of rating upto 200 Amps complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing drop out fuse single pole mounted on insulator, 22000 Volts grade double pole steel frame of current rating 50 Amps including taking down existing DO fuse complete and removing from site complete all as specified and directed.

(b) Servicing of de-hummidifying of core coils assly by hot air blower. (c) Cleaning of the coils of dust & other paricles. (d) Retightening of all the tie rods & core bolts. (e) Checking gaskets for the HT/LT insulators & Replacing the same. (f) Internal touch up for the enclosures & external touch up paint.
