Material and labour for repair to potholes, not exceeding 1.00 Sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads etc cutting around edges to at least 25mm in depth and making good by filling in screened & graded road metal, watering and well ramming (including supply of road metal) complete all as specified and as directed.

Material and labour for providing premixed bituminous macadam laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber using 8 to 10 ton capacity power roller (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) using paving bitumen (VG 30 Grade) @ 4% by weight of total mix complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for applying evenly a priming / tack coat with bituminous primer @ 10 kg per 10 sqm with using paving bitumen (VG-10 Grade) complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for preparing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags or compressed air to remove all loose dirt etc complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for applying evenly a priming/ tack coat with paving bitumen @ 5 kg per 10 sqm using with paving bitumen (VG-10 Grade) complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for bituminous premixed semi-dense asphaltic concrete, 40mm consolidated thickness using 5.5% paving bitumen (VG 30 Grade) binder content any penetration by weight of total mix, mixed in central computerized hot mix plant and laid using mechanical self propelled paver and rolled and compacted with 8 to 12 tonne power roller to uniform surfaces with required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed. Note:- Semi dense asphaltic bituminous concrete shall be designed as per design mix. Contractor shall quote his unit rate considering the bitumen contents as 5.5 %. Any variation in binder content on minus side shall be adjusted at the rate of ₹67.00 per KG of binder. No adjustment in price shall be made if the variation is on plus side.

Material and labour for painting lines, dashes, arrows, letters etc on road with retro-reflective thermoplastic road marking paint 2.5 mm uniform thickness finished with glass brads (MORTH grade) white/yellow colour exceeding 10 cm wide with help of road marking machine including cleaning the surface thoroughly and removing all dirt, dust etc complete all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for earth filling for road side shoulders including raising (or lowering) earth, spreading in layers not exceeding 30 cm thick, watering, ramming/rolling and finishing to required size, shape, etc., not exceeding 1.5 m high from base complete all as specified and directed.

Surface dressing not exceeding 15cm deep in soft/ loose soil for cleaning of road, side berms complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fix in repair Glow Studs of minimum size 100x100 and 20 mm thick made of heavy duty body shall be moulded ASA (Acrylic styrene Acryloretrite) or HIP (High impact polystyrene) or ABS having electronically welded micro prismatic lens with abrasion resistant coating as approved by Engineer-in-Charge. The glow stud shall support a load of 13635 kg tested in accordance with ASTM D 4280. The slope of retro-reflective surface shall be 35(+/-5) degrees to base. The reflective panels on both sides with at least 12 cm of reflective area up each side. The luminance intensity should be as per the specification and shall be tested as described in ASTM I: 809 as recommended in BS 873 Part 4: 1973. The studs shall be fixed to road surface using the adhesive confirming to IS, as per procedure recommended by the manufacturer complete all as specified and directed. Supply and fix in repair solar stud / cat eye of minimum size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm made from aluminium alloy and construction solar powered by nanocrystal solar panel with one high capacity Ni-Cd rechargeable battery provided with LEDs - 10mm, 3 pieces each side and total of 6 pieces, area used for high brightness with backup 12 hours of continuous light all as specified and directed.
