Amount

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m deep for foundtion etc ( for taking out and laying cable etc.) and not exceeding 10 Sqm in plan and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm complete all as specified and as directed.

Removing excavated material not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above starting point complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for sand cushioning (dry) in trenches for protection of UG cables (below, above and around the UG cable laid in trenches) of 23cm spread thick ness and consolidated (punned) upto 18cm thickness, complete all as specified and as directed. Note : For the purpose of payment, punned thick-ness of sand cushioning only shall be measured and paid for.

S&F for sub class 'B' brick, well burnt, laid breadth-wise along the axis of cable laid in trenches over sand cushion laid for UG cable protectioncomplete all as specified and as directed.

Taking out/down old/unserviceable under ground LT cables of any size and connections including pipes etc from trenches/walls/poles of any cross sectional area and keeping serviceable materials in safe custody for reuse and unserviceable materials removing from site complete all as specified and as directed. Note : (1) Pipes shall be measured and paid separately under relevant items of this schedule. (2) Excvation and earth work shall be measured and paid seperately.
