SPECIAL REPAIRS TO BOREWELL MACHINERIES AND ASSOCIATED PIPELINES AT SMA VARUNAPURI

Excavation in trenches (soft/loose soil), not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, valve pits, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes,laying of cables/pipes etc. not exceeding 10 sq m on plan and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches (Hard/dense soil & road), not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth; for foundation, etc. or for shafts, valve pits, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes,laying of cables/pipes etc. not exceeding 10 sq m on plan and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Returning, filling in excavated approved soil, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm each complete all as specified and directed.

Removal of surplus excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50 m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

Taking up or down GI tubing and connections of the following sizes. Un-serviceable tubing remove from site and serviceable tubing kept for re-use as directed by Engineer-in-Charge complete of following sizes:- Note :- Excavation & earth work not included same will be priced, measured and paid seperately under relevent items of Sch 'A'

(a) 50mm bore

(b) 25mm bore

Supply, laying, jointing & testing in replacement of galvanized steel water tubes, 'medium grade', ISI marked, of size 50mm bore with all fittings, laid in trenches complete all as specified & directed.

Supply, laying, jointing & testing in replacement of galvanized steel water tubes, 'medium grade', ISI marked, of size 25mm bore with all fittings, laid in trenches complete all as specified & directed.

S & F following size gun metal, globe or gate valves, with iron wheel head (ISI marked), screwed both ends, complete all as specified & directed.

(a) 50mm bore

(b) 25mm bore

Removal of existing submersible pump set of any capacity from the existing borewell (by any means) of depth up to 150 mtr and flushing out till clear water is obtained, conducting yield test with 'V' Notch and reinstallation of submersible pump set after repair in the bore well complete all as directed. Note : (i) The quoted rate shall be deemed to include the cost of any T&P or machinery required for the complete flushing out of the bore well and testing and commissioning of submersible pumpset. (ii) The contractor shall submit yield test report of each borewell to Egineer-in-charge.

Supply of the following spare parts for submersible pump against above serial item No 1.13 :-

(a) GM impeller

(b) GM Neck ring

(c) Coupling sleeve

(d) MS Stud for pump

(e) Bush for submersible motor

(f) Bush for pump

Repairs to AC, 3 phase, 415 Volts, 2900 RPM Electric Submersible pumping motor against item No. 1.13 above including dismantling of burnt motor, cutting and taking out burnt stator winding from motor, cleaning the stator and rewinding with super enamelled water proof copper wire of original gauge/size including re-assembling complete all as specified and as directed.

(a) All as per item No. 1.21 but for 5 to 7.5 HP

(b) All as per item No. 1.21 but for 3 HP

Supply, lowering and fixing into bore hole GI column pipe 50 mm nominal bore both side flanged 10 mm thick duly welded including nut, bolts & washers and rubber gasket of suitable size complete all as specified and directed.

S & F for submersible cable ,flat, PVC insulated copper conductor stranded type, 1100 volts grade of size 3 core 4 sq. mm size, including jointing of cable with proper kit, connecting to motor and starter with suitable thimble including dismantling the old one complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for carrying bacteriological analysis and potability test of water obtained from bore well from Directorate of Health Services Eviornmental and pollution control wing Panji (Goa)/ approved Micro Engineering and testing lab and submitting the report in duplicate to Engineer-in-Charge, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for carrying chemical analysis and potability test of water obtained from bore well from Directorate of Health Services Eviornmental and pollution control wing Panaji (Goa)/ approved Micro Engineering and testing lab and submitting the report in duplicate to Engineer-in-Charge, complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying, laying, commissioning, jointing & testing 25 Sqmm, 4 core XLPE cable insulated screened PVC bedded, galvanized steel strip or wire armoured, electric power cables (heavy duty) 1100 Volts grade with stranded aluminium conductor including taking down existing cable complete all as specified & directed. Note: Excavation & earth work, sand cushioning & Bricks shall be measured & paid separately under respective item of BoQ.

M&L sand cushioning with dry local sand for cable protecting under ground cable (8 cm before laying the cable and 15 cm after laying the cable) in trenches and consolidated complete all as specified and directed. NOTE : Punned thickness 18 cm only shall be considered for payment.

Supply and lay reinforced precast concrete cable covers, class LV, Type- I flat, size 250x150x40mm, ISI marked all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing galvanised steel tubes, 50 mm light grade for cable protection all as specified and directed.

Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 3.15 mm thick CRCA sheet ,hutted roof, cubical factory made outdoor (kiosk) type feeder pillar box weather proof and vermin proof outdoor mounting of suitable size, 415 volt, 4 wire, AC 50 Hz, with approved paint with power coated with front opening having degree of protection as per IP-52 class protection, complete factory lock two earth terminal suitable cable gland for all incoming and outgoing and removable neutral link, connecting strip/solid conductor brought out to cable chamber brass/copper nut, bolts/washer etc including grouting of feeder pillar box 60 cm above ground level by providing 90 cm long angle iron of size 50 x 50 x 6 mm, welded on all the four corner embedded in PCC 1:2:4, type B-1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) upto 30 cm including excavation and earth work and taking down existing feeder pillar box complete with following asseccories :-

Incoming :- (a) Aluminium busbar with PVC insulated high conductivity 100 Amp rated 3 phase -04 Nos. (b) MCB TPN 63 Amps 4 pole - 01 No breaking capacity 25 kA, 50 HZ with thermal magnetic release - 01 No. Outgoing :- (a) Submersible pump starter (3 -phase, 415 volt, 50 Hz) of capacity 3 to 7.5 HP.

M&L for earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600x600x6 mm thick buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 3.25 M deep below GL with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 M below GL) connected with GI strip 25mm x 4mm as earthing lead by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washer besides brazing at all joints as shown on drawings and including excavation, earth work, 40mm bore GI pipe light grade ISI marked for protection of GI strip from earth electrode to and including the earth test point, supplying and laying charcoal dust, common salt, PCC 1:3:6, type C-1 chamber and mild steel angle iron frame 40 x 40 x 3 mm and 40 mm thick pre-cast RCC cover (1:2:4) type B-1 (using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) reinforced with 8 mm dia TMT bars @ 75 mm C/C both ways with mild steel handle 12 mm dia, PGI funnel and wire mesh, 20 mm dia GI pipe light grade ISI marked for watering all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Part-I and connected to earth test point including testing including dismantling of old ineffective earthing complete all as specified and directed.

(Note:- The rates quoted shall also deemed to include the cost of Earth test point and earth strip and protection pipe upto 7.5 meter beyond the earth plates electrode and the earth resistance of the whole system shall be as near as possible to 0 but shall not in any case exced two ohm.)

Supply & Fixing in repair CI water meter dry dial magetic driven class - B of bore size 80mm as per ISO norms/ standards with water proof dial qauge / unbreakable transparent dial gauge cover for reading made of non rustic metal / plastic moving parts with stainer as per manufacturer for measuring bulk water supply flow on existing size CI water distribution main testing on full pressure including removing of old malfunctional / unserviceable water meter complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
