M & L for UV stable single component fibre reinforced elastomeric liquid applied water proofing membrane having solid content of 55 % formulated with PU Hybrid polymers and reinforcing acrylic fibers and having sun reflectivity index ( SRI) of 106. The application of the material should be done in 3 coats ( 6 hrs gap between each coat ) on the sub strate applying 1st self priming coat @ ratio of damp proof ultra and water 1:3 then 2 undulated coat of damp proof ultra obtaining coverage @ 1Ltr / 10 Sq ft in 3 coats. The vital physical and chemical parameters shall be as under:- (a) Minimum Elongation at break off 350 % . (b) Crack bridging ability of 2.5 mm @ 650 Microns thickness (c) Resist positive hydro static pressure of upto 10 Bars. Note :- The material shall be applied with bruch or roller complete in all respect as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Also proper surface preparation along with coning at comers.

M & L for Cutting grooves in brick wall , 75mm wide and 65mm deep and shaping horizontal face of grooves with cement mortar 1:3 complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Cutting out cracks to V-section in existing roofs or terracing, cleaning out, watering, grouting with cement and sand slurry (1:3) complete all as specified.

Taking down cement or cement lime plaster of any description on brick or stone walls, etc. including racking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water etc complete all as specified.

(vii) After application of second coat and while the material is still wet, coarse sand is sprinkled over the coating so as to ensure proper mechanical key is provided for subsequent plaster. M & L for earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 600 x 600 x 6 mm thick burried directly in ground to depth of pit not less than 2.25 m below normal ground level with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 m below normal ground level surrounded from all sides by 15 cm thick packed layer of charcoal / coal dust and common salt filling in alternate layers and connected to galvanised earth lead wire 4 mm dia by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of GI or steel including GI protection pipe 15mm dia light grade upto the extent of 7.5 metre and connecting to earthing test point, main switch board including GI pipe 20 mm dia light grade for watering, MS funnel and bringing out the watering pipe upto 30 cm above the normal ground level plugged at top including all fitting including PCC earth pit with PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate and RCC pit cover including necessary earthwork and excavation in any type of soil complete all as specified as shown in electrical plate No 3 of SSR Part-I and testing on completion.
