Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 m wide and not exceeding 1.5 m in depth for foundation or manholes etc. and area not exceeding 10 Sqm on plan and getting out in any type soil complete all as specified and directed.

All as per ser item No 1 but exceeding 1.5 mtr and not exceeding 3 mtr deep complete all as specified and directed.

Concrete bed to drain pipes including packing under and haunching against the sides of pipes after they are laid and tested in cement concrete type D-2 (1:4:8) for 100 mm dia pipe complete all as specified and directed.

Note:- The cost for excavation and earth work for pits and taking off manhole cover and placing the same in position after cleaning is deemed to be included in the unit rate.

Note : (a) Contractors representative/ Engineer will report to Engr-in-Charge/ concern JE daily in morning to collect complain for routine/urgent works related to day to day maintenance till completion of contract. (b) All routine/urgent jobs received on docket slip shall be attended within 24 hrs. If the nature of job is such that which cannot be completed within 24 hrs, it shall be immediately brought in to the notice of Engr-in-Chrage, (c) The period for working to the such complains shall be decided by GE/Engr-in-Charge. If delay is more than 24 Hrs & GE/Engr-in-Charge is not satisfied with reason for delay in working then the penalty of Rs. 300/complain/day shall be recovered from contractor. (d) In case of any dispute arising from above the decision of Accepting Officer shall be final and binding.
