Attending day to day external water supply complaints of all nature i.e. leakage in water supply pipe lines, fittings/fixtures, over flow of overhead tank, no water supply including noting the complaints in complaint register complete all as specified and as directed.

Notes for Srl No. 1 :- The rates quoted by the contractor shall deemed to be included for the following :- (i) The complaints shall be attended and the defects shall be rectified by a team of experienced Plumber as applicable assisted with adequate number of helpers passed matriculation and having minimum 03 years experience in same field. (ii) The complaints shall be attended & defect shall be rectified within 08 hrs commencing from date and time of notifying the complaint failing which a penalty @ Rs 100/- per complaint per day (08 hrs) shall be levied upon/imposed on the contractor and recovery shall be made from his dues. Contractor rep shall be available wef 0800 Hrs to 2000 Hrs to recieve and notify complains.

(iii) In case , after checking & attending the defect,if it is not possible to rectify the defect within 08 hrs, the facts shall be brought to the notice of Engineer-in-charge by the contractor/his rep. If Engineer-in- charge is satisfied with contractor's view, no recovery will be made. (iv) While attending the complaint of water supply/Electric supply if earth work is required then the same shall be measured and paid seperately under appropriate item of Sch 'A'/BOQ. However no extra payments shall be made for dewatering. (v) Cutting of GI pipe in position and threading is also deemed to be included in the job quoted rates (Fittings and fixtures shall be measured and paid separetely under respective items of Sch A/BOQ). (vi) All T&P required for attending the complaints shall be provided by the contractor without any extra. (vii) The pipe fitter shall always be in possession of die set complete with cutters,Taps, Pipe wrench ,Chain wrench, Caulking tools, complete set of spanners and ladders etc..,as required at site. (viii) Rate for Taking down/out existing fittings & fixtures and refixing to make it functional shall be taken into account

(i) Carrying out minimum essential testing of water as per IS 10500-2012 mandatory for chemical colour, odour, taste, turbidity, PH value, TDS total hardness, iron, chloride, fluoride and residual free chlorine and Bacteriological total coliform organisms per 100 ml (MPN) and E Coli in 100 ml) with specific recommendation regarding suitability of water for drinking purposes. (ii) Collection of water from different sources of water ie. Sump, bore wells & shallow well in a sterilized bottle and testing in NABL Approved laboratory as mentioned in specification Note :- Rate Quoted shall also deemed to be included for the followings:- (i) Cost of sterilized bottle as required. (ii) To and fro transportation charges for collection of samples from source (sump, bore & shallow wells)

Carrying samples for Testing of treated water of STP ,submission of detailed test report to the office of the Engineer-in-charge and testing in NABL approved laboratory as approved by GE. Details are as under :- (a) Carrying out minimum essential testing of water as per IS 10500 of 1991 mandatory for chemicals, colour, odour, PH value, TSS, BOD, COD, Total residual chlorine, total Nitrogen, Sulphate, oil and grease , Ammonical Nitrogen (NH3-N) and Bacteriological total coliform organisms per 100 ml (MPN) and E colliie in 100 ml.
