REPAIR AND PAINTING OF LT POLES AND MAINTENANCE OF STREET LIGHT FITTINGS AT OTM ACCOMMODATION OF ZONE B UNDER GE(U) BATHINDA.

M&L for Cleaning and preparation of old painted surface of street light steel tubular pole 9.00 mtr long and painting with one coat of aluminum paint including brackets and making alternative black and white strips on pole with two coats of synthetic enamal paint (each strip 30 cm height) upto 1.5 mtr height from top of PCC foundation block and numbering of poles complete all directed.

M&L for Cleaning , preparation of PCC surface and painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint and making altranative black and white strips 30 cm each up to 1.5 mtr height from top of PCC foundation block including numbering of poles of LT PCC Pole 9.00 mtr long complete all as directed.

Checking of non functional street light fittings any type on pole/wall to find out defect at site and making functional by repairing to cable connection/loose connection including necessary cleaning the bowl/perpex cover where provided and testing complete all as s directed. Note : (i) New spares required to repair the light fittings shall be measured & paid separately as supply only under respective item. (ii) The T&P Vehicles and necessry wheel ladders etc will be arranged by the contractor and the cost of maint deemed to be included in the quoted rates. (iii) Contractor is bound to provide 4 Nos of Electrician and 6 Nos of helper for the subject work, the total strength should be devided in three teams i.e 1 electrician with two helpers for south and norh area each and 1 electrician with two helpers for Corps HQ and officer married accn & One Electrician only will repair the street lights in store for daily basis, the rate of same is deemed to included in quoted rate by the contractor.

Supply only surge protector 10 KA with IP 65 protection as per IS complete all as directed.

Supply only driver suitable for 45 watt LED with IP 65 protection, as per IS complete all as directed.

Supply only driver suitable for 60 watt LED with IP 65 protection, as per IS complete all as directed.

Supply only driver suitable for 120 watt LED with IP 65 protection, as per IS complete all as directed.

Supply and fix in repair street light bracket made out of 40mm dia GI tubing medium grade made to shape 1.5 Mtr long with fixing arrangement for LED fitting duly painted with two coats of synthetic aluminium paint over a coat of primer including MS clamps and back plates fabricated from steel section including nuts, bolts, washer etc complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and fixing in repair energy efficient LED street light fitting of 45 Watt epoxy powder coated pressure die cast aluminium housing to act as heat sink for efficient dissipation of heat and toughened glass with IP 66 degree of protection, system luminous efficency more than 100 lumens / watt individual LED's should have lenses for better throw across and along road, PF>0.9 with voltage range 140 to 270 Volt, fitting should be provided wih inbuilt 10 KV minimum surge protection, short circuit and over voltage protection facility for Driver. Driver should be potted with electrolytic capacitor of 105 degree and fiiting including GI bracket of suitable size upto 1.5 mtr long & MS Flat iron clamp, nuts and bolts of suitable size and making electrical connection complete all as directed.

All as per serial item No. 09 above but for LED street light fitting 60 Watt

Supply and fix in repair energy efficient LED flood light fitting of 120 Watt with LDR epoxy powder coated pressure die cast aluminium housing to act as heat shrink for efficient dissipation of heat and toughened glass with IP 66 degree of protection, system luminous efficency more than 100 lumens / watt individual LED's should have lenses for better throw across and along road, PF>0.9 with voltage range 140 to 270 Volt, fitting should be provided wih inbuilt 10 KV minimum surge protection, short circuit and over voltage protection facility for Driver and fiiting including MS Flat iron clamp, nuts and bolts of suitable size and making electrical connection complete all as directed.

Dismantling of old broken PCC pole of any size including broken PCC foundation and site clearance/stacking complete all as directed.

Supply and erecting pre-stressed concrete poles 9 mtr long of cross section (102mmx172mm) at top and (102mmx279mm) at bottom, class-10 complying with requirements of IS-1678-1978 in perfect vertical position, embedded in PCC foundation and coping, including applying two coats of cement base paint on PCC coping complete all as directed. Note: (i) PCC and earth work shall be measured and paid for separately under respective item. (ii) The T&P vehicles will be arranged by the contractor for transporting the pole and the cost deemed to be included in the quoted rates.

M&L for PCC (1:4:8) type D-2 using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in foundation of electric poles/struts etc including necessary formwork complete all as specified and directed. Note: Volume of poles/struts embedded in concrete shall be deducted during calculation the quantity of PCC for foundation.)

M&L for PCC (1:3:6) type C-2 using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate as in coping of electric poles/struts etc including necessary formwork complete all as specified and directed. Note: Volume of poles/struts embedded in concrete shall be deducted during calculation the quantity of PCC for coping.)

S&F in repair service wire PVC insulated stranded aluminium conductor, served with inner sheating of PVC tape and overall PVC sheathed of Size 6 Sqmm twin core flat, 1100 volts complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5 metre wide and not exceeding 1.5 metre in depth for foundation, laying of cables or pipes (where provided) and getting out in soft/loose soil including trimming the sides and forming bottom surfaces to required levels complete all as specified and as directed .

Taking out old unservicable under ground LT XLPE / PVC cable of any size from trenches / wall / roof / road / pipe / pole / DB including taking out of brick layer of cable protection complete all as directed.

Laying only old serviceable under ground PVC/XLPE LT cable of any grade , any size laid in trenches / fixed to wall / pole / roof / laid in floor including necessary connections and thimbling complete all as directed. Note: (i) Earth work, brick & sand cushioning shall be measured and paid separately under respective items.

Supply and laying or fixing or laid in trenches/ ducts/ through pipes/ in floors / under roads/ hard standing /along poles and testing LT cable XLPE, PVC insulated screened, bedded, galvanised steel strip or wire armourd cable (heavy duty) 1100 volt grade with aluminium conductor having cross sectional area 16 Sqmm 4.00 core conforming to IS-7098 (Part-I -1988) complete all as specified and as directed. Note: (i) Excavation and earth work, sand cushioning & GI pipe shall be measured and paid for separately under respective item) (ii) Pre dispatch inspection (Factory inspection) shall be made by the rep of Accepting officer. The contractor shall made all arrangement. The expenditure incurred for this shall deem to be included in the quoted rate of this item.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exc 25cm thick complete all specified and directed.

Removal of surplus excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 metre above the starting point complete all specified and as directed.

M&L for sand cushioning with coarse sand in trenches for protection of underground electric cable, spread to uniform 23 cm thickness and punned down gently to 18 cm complete all as directed.

Supply and laying well burnt sub class B breicks old size bricks, laid flat dry, in trenches with width of the bricks laid to the axis of cable for cable protection complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per serial item No. 24 above but using old serviceable bricks.

Opening /disconnecting the electrical connection of defective/burnt out main switch/DB/junction box / LT panel/ L T O/H line etc. Taking out the required length of cable from existing loop, cutting the defective portion of cable ,providing required thimbles/connectors at cable end and reconnecting the cable in previous location with existing main switch/DB/Junction box/LT panel/ O/H line complete all as directed. Note:- (i) the cost of required earth work ie excavation,returning filling,relaying of sand/bricks protection and cost of drawing the required length from protection pipe ,breaking of required brick work/plaster/concrete and redoing the required cement work to match the existing surface is deemed to be included in quoted rates and nothing extra shall be paid on this account. (ii) Additional cable/ protection pipe required at site shall be measured and paid seperatly under respective item.

S&F in repair PVC cable Junction box for street light including 6 Amp MCB SP with aluminium bus bar TPN for controlling the Street Lights complete with pole mounting type size 300x300x150mm with 02 Nos. MS clamp of MS flat iron 40 x 6 mm with bolts, nuts and washer fixed on poles / walls complete all as directed. Make: Sintex/ National/Hensel, / Siemens.

S&F in repair MCCB, 3 phase, 4 pole, 415 volt of capacity 63 Amp, short circuit, breaking capacity not less than 25 KA , thermal setting 80-100%, Ics-100% Icu confirming to IEC-947, IS-13947 type OH, including thimbles, nuts, bolts, washers etc disconnecting and making incoming, outgoing connections complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repair MCB 'C' Curve, SP ,240Volt, 6 Amp 10KA complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F in repair AC coil for C1 series contactor suitable for operation of timer with operating voltage 240 volt complete all as specified and directed.

Cutting/trimming of tree branches upto 1.50 mtr distance on both sides of LT over head lines including collection and removal from road complete all as directed.

M&L for making the horizontal boring under road and hard standing suitable for laying and inserting pipe upto 80 mm dia any length by mechanical drill system or Auger system and making the surface good as existing surface complete all as specified and directed. Note: GI pipe shall be measured and paid separately under respective item.

Supply and laying GI tubing, light grade, 50 mm bore complete with all fittings for cable and earth continuity strip protection laid in trenches/fixed to poles/along wall/under road/across the drain complete all as specified and as directed.

Taking down the lanteren carrige assembly along with lanterns after replacement of worn out pully at top section of high mast ,welding putting the fell down wire rope in pully groves in proper alignment for satisfactory operation of winch system by arranging hydraulic crane from civil market having boom suitable for working at 16 mtr height and carrying out work complete all as directed by Engineer-in-Cahrge . Note:- (i). Cost of hiring of hydraulic crane suitable for working at above 16 mtr height and T&P used for repair of high mast is deemed to be included in unit quoted rate.

Rewinding of motor 2 HP ,3 phase ,415 volts ,1425 RPM with copper wire of existing size and varnishing and testing complete all as directed.

S&F in repair Bearing SKF 4026 complete all as directed.

S&F in repair decorative circular design type of Post top Lantern of 45 Watts LED type resistance to impact & corrosion, IP 65 protection, heat sink, system efficiency > 100 lmn/ W, CRI between 80-90, color temp 5000-6000 K, with LEDs and Driver complete all as directed. S&F in repair air break contactor 3 phase 415 volts, 63 Amps suitable for timer switch complete all as directed.

S&F in repair mild steel work as in bracket , clamps etc including securing bolts and nuts ,drilling, bolting or revetting and including two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for writing letters and numbers on the surface of steel or PCC poles with black synthetic enamel paint over the base of white syntheic enamel paint , the height of letters and numerals should not be less than 50 mm and numbers of letters and numerals shall be 5 to 8 in each pole complete all as directed.

S&F in repair high mast rubber cable PVC insulated sheathed, multistrand copper conductor cable of size 6 Sqmm 5 core for connecting the high mast light fittings complete all as directed.
