REPAIRS TO SEWAGE LINE SEPTIC TANKS, DRAIN, FENCING, RETAINING WALL AND OTHER MISC WORKS AT MIL STATION DAGSHAI UNDER GE KASAULI

Material and Labour for complete cleaning of septic tanks/pits of any capacity at various locations of Dagshai military station by removing of sludge water/ night soil/ silt/solid waste material etc through sewer suction machine (Honey sucker truck, chasis mounted type with minimum capacity of 4000 ltrs) including cost of fuel, lubricant, driver, helper and labour required as per site requirement alongwith Honey sucker vehicle and disposing the same out side the area of Defence land/ Dagshai military station as per existing rules/policies/guidelines issued by Municipal corporation, Solan or Himachal Pradesh Government. Note :- (i) No extra cost will be provided for any distance travelled by the honey sucker truck for disposal of each load from septic tank to sewerage disposal facility. (ii) Contractor shall arrange heavy duty sump pumps for desludging septic tanks (which are away from road or inaccessible) directly into honey sucker truck with suitable length of hoses.

Comprehensive maintenance of sewage lines, manholes and attending day to day complaints by employing necessary manpower and T&P at Dagshai military station. The maintenance work is inclusive of :- (a) Cleaning of blocked underground sewer lines or drain pipes by rodding through manholes, inspection chambers or traps, bldgs sewer pipes etc. (b) Cleaning of blocked or overflowing manholes, inspection chambers or traps etc. (c) Cleaning of blocked WCs/ Floor /nahani traps in bathroom, kitchen, toilets etc. (d) Replacing of manhole covers after cleaning and disposal of sludge/soil/ soild waster etc recieved at ser no (a) to (c) above to a min distance of 100 mtrs away from any nearby bldg. The location/ building/complex where work is to be carried out consist of the following:- (a) 11 Kumaon (All OTM and Md Accns) (b) 49 Fd Wksp Coy EME (All OTM and Md accns). (c) MH section Hospital (OTM and Md accns) (d) OTM and Md Accn of MES Dagshai (e) Officers Quarters and Officers Mess. Notes :- (i) The Contractor shall employ a supervisor. The supervisor so employed shall report to the concerned JE daily to give feed back and also to receive day to day complaints and necessary instructions for smooth running of the contract. (ii) The supervisor shall engage skilled staff, labours and T&P as per nature of complaint recieved or site requirement. (iii) For any default/delay in attending the complaints recovery shall be effected as per contract conditions provided here-in-after. (iv) Supervisor engaged by the contractor shall take all necessary preventative safety measures and adequate precautions to avoid any health hazard and department shall not be held responsible for any unwanted incidence.

Excavation in trenches, n exc 1.5 mtr wide and n exc 1.5 mtr in depth for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes and getting out in hard/dense soil complete all as specified and directed.

Demolition and breaking up pipes (Salt glazed ware, AC or reinforced concrete) set in cement mortar, etc., and supply and fixing for 200mm dia Salt-glazed stoneware drain pipes grade 'A' laid in trenches and jointed in cement mortar 1:1, etc, and including concrete bed, packing under and completely surrounding pipes with concrete PCC (1:3:6) type C2 in patches complete all as specified and directed.

Material and Labour for 200mm bore salt-glazed stoneware bends and taper bends any radius laid and jointed in cement mortar 1:1, etc, complete all as specifed and directed

Material and Labour for 200mm bore salt-glazed stoneware single 'Y' junctions laid and jointed in cement mortar 1:1, etc, complete all as specified and directed

Material and Labour for 150mm bore salt-glazed stoneware bends and taper bends any radius laid and jointed in cement mortar 1:1, etc, complete all as specifed and directed
