Fabricating, Supplying and fixng in position of steel sheeted windows (Two Leaves) with the following specifications. Outer frames of windows made of 'Z' section F7D of size 33 x 25 x 3mm at 1.419 kg/ m and mullion 'J' section (F4B) of size 46x25x3mm at 2.28kg/m and shutter section of made of F7D of 33x25x3mm at 1.419 kg/m as specified in IS 7452/1990. Each openable shutter should not exceed a width of 600mm to enable separate operations and easy maintenance. The panel of the shutters to be covered with 18 gauge cold rolled sheet of superior quality and welded intact with shutter frames. Horizontal stiffeners using 18x5mm MS Flat at 0.70kg/m at 3 Nos. for each shutter and additional diagonal stiffners of the same MS flats at all the four corners of each shutters to the suitable length welded to the shutters, for holding the CR Sheets in position firmly. 2 numbers of sturdy hinges and one number of handle-cum-latch of special type made with 18x5mm MS flats are revetted to the shutters at an appropriate height in window. suitable opening is left for its easy operation. a stopper square rod for handle is provided in the mullion section at suitable place to catch the window handle. each window shutter having an adustable stay made out of 18 x 5mm at 0.70 kg/ m MS flat of lenght 320mm with three adjustable position. A matching peg is provided in the outer frame of the window at suitable place. 4 Nos. of hold fasts of 120mm length spliced at the ends are welded to the outer frame of the window by using MS flat of 18x5mm at 0.70kg/m, welded to the shutter at two place equivalent from each from top and bottom of the shutter. An MS square bar of 12mm size is welded to the inner face of the window at an equal interval not exceeding 100mm edge between them. Manufacturing supplying and fixing of steel door with the following specification MS angels of size 40x40x6mm are used for the outer frames and M.S. angles of size 35x35x6mm for the shutter frames stiffeners with 32 x 6mm M.S flat is provided at required intervals in the shutter frame. 18-gauge C.R. sheet laid as panel in the shutter and welded intact. M.S. flat 18x5mm is welded over the 32 x 6mm M.S. flat sandwitching the C.R. sheet in between additional stiffeners with 18x5mm M.S. flat is provided diagonally at the rear side of the shutter, 3nos. of hinges in case of single leaf and 6nos. of hinges in double leaves shutter to be provided 6nos. of holdfasts 120 mm in length made of angle section spliced at the ends are welded to the outer frames of the door. Aldrop is provided incase of double leaf door at lock rail section in the door in single leaf door, one more aldrop is provided in the inner lock rail section of the door One rotaing locking arrangements for the inner side of the door and additional provision for locking arrangements for lock is provided on the rear side of the door at an appropriate place. Incase of double leaf door M.S.Flat 32 x 3mm at 1.1Kg/m is provided on the one shutter t conceal the gap between the two shutters.at an appropriate place in the door. A tie bar is provided at the bottom of the frame to prevent twisting of frame during transportation and fixing. All members are given a coat of red oxide primer as directed by the departmental officers. d. ACOUSTIC ENCLOSURE Acoustic enclosure shall be powder coated and fabricated of 16 SWG CRCA MS sheet. The Silent canopy shall be of nut bolt type construction. Critical processes of punching are done on CNC machines to maintain dimensional accuracy of hole within 0.1mm. Power coating done after seven - tank surface preparation process of sheet metal. Canopy panel and doors shall have inside lining of FIRE RETARDANT 64 kg/ m density Mineral wool of 100mm thickness as acoustic material. Four hinged doors shall be provided to canopy. The average sound level at 1 Mt. Distance shall be less than 75 dB average or as per CPCB norms. e. BASE FRAME Base frame should be fabricated in sheet metal. The base frame is rugged in construction and designed for mounting engine and brush less alternator closely coupled, with cross members mounted on AVM. The base frame shall be provision for mounting of acoustic enclosure on it. The supply of Gen set includes loading, unloading and transportation charges.
f. FUEL TANK 100 Ltrs. Integral Built in Fuel tank shall be fabricated out of 14SWG CRCA MS sheet and its part of base frame. It is duly painted and fitted with inlet and outlet connections and mechanical fuel gauge. g. BATTERY 1 No 12V 88 AH Battery h. Providing electrical operating arrangements for the vertical lift geared shutters in Vaigai dam pickup anicut head sluice & Scour sluice as per the drawings. The hoisting arrangements includes screw rod with worm gear over the deck bridge platform. A 5HP geared motor, with output RPM 190, Reversible, 3 phase, 400 - 440V, shall be introduced into the existing gear arrangements appropriately, so that the shutter could easily be operated electrically. Necessary wiring from mains and starter for motor are provided as per site requirements. Motor bed shall be suitably provided as per site condition. A dust proof cover shall be provided to safeguard the motor from rain and shine. The surface preparation shall be done manually by wire brush, mechanical tools, etc. All equipment & accessories shall be checked for their correctness and aligned properly for smooth operation as directed by the departmental officers. The cost includes cost of motor and accessories, spares, consumables such as oil, grease, paint, fasteners, etc., process charges like cutting, welding, casting, grooving, machining, etc, labour charges for dismantling loading, lifting, unloading, scaffolding, charges, hire charges for equipment like generator, welding & cutting set, etc, conveyance of men & machinery to & fro from site of work & back, risk allowance for working at a height of more than 3m, cost of trial operation, etc., complete.
Overhauling of worm gear box to the pickdam shutters as per the following specification. The worm gear box comprising of worm nut and worm screw shall be opened up and cleaned & matched properly. Then requisite oil & grease shall be applied for efficient operation. The thrust bearing & oil seal shall be checked and then reused after cleaning & oiling. The worm nut shall also be checked if its wornout & then used. The cost includes cost of materials, labour charges, cost of servicing, tools & plants, cost of consumables like grease & oil, transport, etc, complete.
Reconditioning of cast iron roller of size 355mm dia of service and Renewal of bearings of SKF Nu- 220 with Oil seal, Labour charges including Lathing, Welding, Gas cutting, and also inclusive of all bolt and nuts, all paint and conveyance to this site, Loading and unloading charges, Grease packing, Lubricating oil, and Trial run satisfactorily, handing over of all old materials removed from this work to dam officials,The existing pin shall be machined and fitted snugly. Then the wheel shall be closed and fitted to the end vertical channel. Trial operation shall be conducted to ensure free movement & rotation of wheels. The cost includes cost of all materials, process charges like gas cutting, welding, machining, scaffolding charges, labour charges for dismantling, loading, lifting, unloading, transport, erection, labour charges for equipment's like crane, chain pulley block, power charges for generator, risk allowance for working at a height of more than 3m, conveyance to site and clearing them after completion of work including cost of trial operation etc., complete as directed by the Departmental Officers. All materials and works should be as per IS specification.
Replacement of side and top rubber seal flat type and Musical node as per IS 11855:2004 for the river sluice shutter with New Seal of size 1520x1830mm as per the following specification. The old rubber seal shall be removed from the skin plate after removal of the rusted bolts & nuts by gas cutting equipment's. The seal seat cover shall be removed along with the rubber seal. The skin plate & seal seat cover surface shall be neatly cleaned on either side by grinding. Now, the existing seal seat cover made of 100 x 10mm MS flat & rubber seal shall be now matched with the existing holes in the skin plate and then holes shall be drilled in the seal seat cover to align with that in the skin plate, if necessary. Holes shall be punched accordingly in the rubber seal of size 100x12mm. Then it shall be assembled for efficient operation, as directed by the departmental officers. All members shall be given a coat of epoxy primer over which two coats of anticorrosive coal tar epoxy paint shall be applied. The cost includes cost of materials, labour charges, hire charges for machinery like derrick, chain pulley block, gas cutting equipment, welding plant, erection, etc, cost of conveyance to & for from site of work, risk allowance, trial operation, warranty for 5 years except protective coating etc, complete.
Replacement of bottom rubber seal of the shutter as per the following specification. The old rubber seal shall be removed from the skin plate after removal of the rusted bolts & nuts by gascutting equipments. The seal seat cover shall be removed along with the rubber seal. The skin plate & seal seat cover surface shall be neatly cleaned on either side by grinding. Now, the existing seal seat cover made of 100x10mm MS flat & the new rubber seal shall be now matched with the existing holes in the skin plate and then holes shall be drilled in the seal seat cover to align with that in the skin plate, if necessary. 18mm holes shall be punched accordingly in the rubber seal of size 100x12mm/75x12mm. The inside surface of the seal seat cover is given a coat of anticorrosive zinc rich primer over which two coats of coal tar epoxy shall be applied at an interval of 24 hours between each coat. Now the rubber seal shall be placed on the skin plate over which the seal seat cover shall be placed and fastened with SS bolts & nuts of size M16x75. The cost includes cost all of materials, labour charges, transport, erection, hire charges for machinery, incidental charges like conveyance to & fro from site, etc., complete and as directed by departmental officers.
Providing abrasive blast cleaning(Sand) using air blast cleaning with abrasive aluminium oxide/steel grits/sand as per the following specification. Moisture should not be present on the steel surface during blast cleaning. All, oil, paraffin, grease & dirt shall be removed from the surfaces to be painted primarily before blast cleaning. Then all weld spatter, slag, burrs, loose rust and mill scale and other foreign substances shall be removed by blast cleaning . The average surface roughness after blast cleaning shall not exceed 35 to 50 µ. Blast cleaning shall confirm to Swedish standard SA 2 1/2 (near white metal). Application of a high performance primary coating to protect the steel structure from highly abrasive, erosive and corrosive environments. This being a industrial coating, enhances the life of the structure and reduces the strain of continuous maintenance. The time between successive coats shall be not less than the minimum nor more than the maximum re-coating time specified by the paint manufacturer. The paint shall be applied so that the thickness at any point is not less than that stipulated in the approved painting specifications.
