Item No. 79.00 Contd… ELECTRICAL WORKS: (a) Supply, installation, testing and commissioning of electrical panel, modular type, front accessible only, free floor standing confirming to Minimum IP:43 degree of protection. The panel sheet structure shall undergo seven tank pre-treatment process before painting. The sheet steel shall be all of 14 SWG/2mm thick CRCA sheet. All the openable compartments of the panel shall be completely shrouded and provided with padlocking arrangement on all compartments including bus bar and cable alley chambers. The panel height shall not exceed 2200 mm and the maximum operating height for any switchgear shall not be more than 1800mm. The panel shall be provided with minimum 75mm base channel frame fabricated from ISMC sections. All bus bar links in the panel shall be solid bus bars with coloured PVC shrinkable sleeves, no wires will be acceptable. Continuos earth bus shall run alround the panel with earthing studs provided at minimum 2 places. The control wiring shall be carried out with minimum 2.5 sq.mm copper wires and adeq for remote operation of the starters.Two Nos separate GI plate earthing with strips to be done. All MCCB's shall be provided with rotary handles and minimum fault rating of MCCB shall be as per drawing. Proper sized cable termination gland plates shall be provided on cable alleys and knockouts for same shall be provided during fabrication stage itself. The panel shall be provided with a thermostatically controlled heating arrangement (200W) to take care of high humidity conditions. A 5A socket service outlet (single phase) shall be provided in one of the compartments as service outlet in the panel. Panel shall be so designed at to have minimum 20% spare feeders/space. Panel shall undergo epoxy powder coated paint, colour as per IS:5 requirements. All cable terminations shall be from top. The complete panel shall be fuse less type, for control circuits 2A/6A MCB's to be used. All bus bars shall be of copper, electrolytic grade only. Maximum design density shall not exceed 1Amps./Sq.mm. All bus bars shall be insulated with coloured heat shrinkable PVC sleeved. All bus bar supports shall be non hygroscopic DMC/SML supports. - 01 Set The panel shall be manufactured in conformance to requirements of Local Electricity Board. MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION: Maintenance and operation of Sewage Treatment Plant round the clock in three shifts (of 08 hrs duration each) per day including Sunday and holiday with one skilled operator for trouble free operation to ensure maximum optimisation of plant including monitoring the performance of the treated sewage by data logging, monthly report preparation and reporting to MES on performance of Sewage Treatment, maintenance of different types of pumps, blower etc. including periodic cleaning (fortnightly) , scheduled maintenance of running equipments, attending to the emergency break down of the components, regular testing of plant equipments by 'Walk Down' checks of internal conditions of equipments such as plant performance, pump test, decomposition system testing, etc. careful logging of Operational Data and periodically processing it to determine any abnormal or slowly deterioating conditions, careful control and supervision of operational conditions including all consumables and spare parts for maintenance of plant as directed by Engineer-in-Charge from the next date of completion of Phase - I. Note:- (i) The quoted rates of bidders shall be deemed to be inclusive of the following aspects as below and nothing extra shall be paid on this account. (a) Generation and submission of reports in soft/ hard copy format as required by the Engineer-in-Charge. (b) Area cleaning and removing of grasses, bushes etc. as per instructions of the Engr-in-Charge. (c) Safety and security of all equipments, chambers, T&P, substation complete. (d) Sufficient trained manpower as per OEM or routine schedule/break down maintenance of all Plant equipment, HT/LT control system etc. (ii) Any defective equipments/ parts of STP plant shall be replaced without any extra cost during defects liability period.

Item No. 96.00 Contd… (iii) The operators and helper as per OEM's instruction for proper maintainance of the Sewage Treatment system working for 08 hrs shall consitute one shift and the quoted rate of the contractor shall be deemed to be inclusive of this aspect. (iv) Safety chart, First Aid chart and First Aid kit will be provided by contractor and the quoted rate of the contractor shall deemed to be included of this aspect. (v) Periodical cleaning of all STP tanks, chambers and equipments shall be done on quarterly basis alongwith dated photographs, to be kept on record, as per instruction given by Engr-in-Charge. (vi) All consumables like bio culture, Chlorine/Alam etc., as required for regular maintenance ofplant is deemed to be included in quoted rates and no extra amount entertained on this account. List of consumables shall be recorded and submitted to Engr-in-Charge during the claim of RAR. (vii) All test parameters for treated water shall be tested on quarterly basis from any National Test House/IIT/NIT/Zonal Lab./Command testing Lab/NABL Lab/Govt approved Lab to confirm that parameters of treated sewage water are within specified limits and the test reports shall be submitted by the contractor with the interim payment bill due at the time of such testing. (viii) Outsourcing of services of Maint & Operation shall be done through OEM/their authorized service agency. Necessary MOU shall be submitted for item No. 96.00 to 101.00.
