Pile complete as per Drawing and Technical Specification Clause no. 1100,1600 & 1700 and removal of excavated earth with all lifts and lead up to 1000 m, for pile dia 1200 mm, including removing of concrete above cut-off level(bottom of pile cap) complete using Batching Plant, Transit Mixer and Concrete Pump, placement of concrete by tremie pipe for the required lengths of pile including pile heads at all locations.Boing through all types of soils, using hydraulic piling rig, removal of all obsructions like boulders etc. by chiselling or any other method as approved by the Engineer-in-Charge. If a bore is abandoned for any reasons no payment shall be made for such incomplete boring and shifting of the equipments. If rocky strata is present, boring through rocky strata shall have to be done at no extra cost. Measurement for payment shall be made on the length of pile measured from bottom of pile correct to a centimeter. (The tenative length of piles to be measured as detailed in the specifications is 38 meters. Carrying out the confirmatory boring: Soil investigation by 4nos bore holes upto minimum 50m depth at each bore hole through all types soil & rock by using shell and auger equipment for soil boring and hydraulic rotary drilling equipment using diamond bit and double tube core barrel for rock drilling including collection of undistrubed soil samples and standard penetration test alternatively at every 1.5m depth interval in soil and collection of disturbed soil samples at 1m depth interval for each bore hole. Conducting all relevant laboratory tests including shear strength parameters, consolidation parameters, natural moisture content, bulk and dry density on specimen from collected undisturbed soil samples for each bore hole. Conducting all relevant laboratory tests on collected disturbed soil samples including liquid and plastic limits, particle size distribution specific gravity and on specimens for each bore hole. Conducting necessary laboratory test on rock samples for each bore hole including specific gravity, bulk density, water absorption, point load strength, uni-axial compressive strength and slake durability test. Providing and laying hot applied thermoplastic compound (10 cm wide) including reflectorising glass beads @ 250 gms per sqm area, thickness of 2.5 mm is exclusive of surface applied glass beads as per IRC:35 complete with all materials, labour and machinery etc and as per technical specification cl. no 803.4 and directions of Engineer-in-charge.The finished surface to be level, uniform and free from streaks and holes.
