Specification
Hire charges for Hydraulic Excavator of 1 Cu m bucket capacity long with other acessories like bucket, mini bucket, etc., used for excavation / dismantling / demolishing various elements like Reinforced concrete, plain concrete, Brickwork, Size stone masonry, soling, stone rubble, earth and any other material of sub-strcuture and super structure, etc., all complete as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. The demolition / dismantling work has to be executed by mechanical means at any depth, and the members to be dismantled are of any height, width and thickness. Mode of mesurement is the actual number of hours which the equipment has been used, devoid of all idling hours. The equipment / machinery deployed for the subject work has to be in compliance with HAL security guidelines.
Dismantling old plaster or skirting raking out joints and cleaning the surface for plaster including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within 50 metres lead, etc., all complete as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Waterproof Plastering to internal and external brick wall with 20mm thick cement plaster on the rough side of single or half brick wall of cemnet mortor (1:4) including leveling, curing and making the level smooth and at all heights, etc., all complete as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Painting old plastered interiors surfaces with 2 coats of low VOC with less than 50g/lit premium plastic emulsion with acrylic base of approved make, colour, hade, shade, tint and pattern at all levels, over a water thinnable priming coat with cement primer including preparation of surface by removing loose dirt and any organic growth, smoothening the surface by using suitable emery paper, filling crevices / Cracks and finishing even by applying putty / Cement mortor in patches and repairs wherever required to achieve an even and smooth surface with all necessary scaffolidng and safety arrangements like safe working platform, safety harness, PPEs, etc., all complete as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Prior approval of the make and shade of the paint is to be obtained from EIC with data sheet fulfilling the scope of work.
External Painting (New work) Finishing walls with Premier Acrylic Smooth Exterior Paint with Silicone additives of require shade by providing Two or more coats applied @ 1.43 ltr/ 10 Sq m over and including base coat 1.43 ltr/ 10 Sq m over and including base coat or equivalent applied @ 0.9litre/Sq m with necessary prepration of the surface, etc., all complete as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Disposal of surplus earth / moorum / building rubbish / malba / similar unserviceable, dismantled or waste material of partitions, ceiling boards, tiles, frames, etc., by mechanical transport including loading, transporting, unloading in all lifts / loads upt 10 km distance from HAL, etc., all complete as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Grouting the joints of flooring tiles having joints of 3mm width, using epoxy grout mix of 0.70 kg of organic coated filler of desired shade (0.10 kg of hardener and 0.20 kg of resin per kg), including filling / grouting and finishing, etc., all complete as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Cutting holes up to [17.50 x 17.50]cm in RCC floors and roofs / Chajjas, etc., and repairing the hole after insertion of drain pipe / Rain water Pipe, etc., with cement concrete 1:2:4 (1 cement :2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size), including finishing complete so as to make it leak proof, etc., all complete as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing and laying in position ready mixed or site batched design mix cement concrete for plain cement concrete work - All work above plinth level to floor V lavel :1:2:4 (1 Cement : 2 coarse sand : 4 graded stone aggregate 20mm nominal size) using coarse aggregate and fine aggregate derived from natural sources, Ordinary Portland Cement, admixtures in recommended proportions as per IS : 9103 to accelerate / retard setting of concrete, to improve durability and workability without impairing strength including pumping of concrete to site of laying, curing, carriage for all leads but excluding the cost of centering, shuttering and finishing, etc., all complete as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : Extra cement upto 10% of the minimum specified cement content in design mix shall be payable separately. In case the cement content in design mix is more than 110% of the minimum specified cement content, the contractor shall have discretion to either re-design the mix or bear the cost of extra cement.
Taking out doors, windows and clerestory window shutters (steel or wood) of area 3 Sq m and below including stacking within 50 metres lead, etc., all complete as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Brick work with common burnt clay FPS (non modular) bricks of class designation 7.5 in superstructure above plinth level up to floor V level in all shapes and sizes in : Cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand), etc., all complete as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
Providing and fixing Concealed Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride (CPVC) pipes of approved brand, having thermal stability for hot & cold water supply, including all CPVC plain & brass threaded fittings, fixing the pipe with clamps at 1.00m spacing, necessary reducers, unions, collars, bends, tank adaptors, etc., This includes jointing of pipes & fittings with one step CPVC solvent cement and the cost of cutting chases and making good the same including testing of joints and making good the walls, etc., all complete as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing and fixing glazing in aluminium door, window, ventilator shutters and partitions, etc., with float glass panes (plain / pin head / frosted) of 8mm thickness (weight not less than 20 kg/Sq m), EPDM rubber / neoprene gasket, etc., complete as per the architectural drawings and the directions of Engineer-in-Charge.
Suppling, laying, testing and commissioning the 160/165mm dia PVC pipes of 6kg/cm2 SWR grade and of approved make with rubber ring joints conforming to IS 5382, jointed together with solvent, in walls, trenches and floors, including all necessary fittings & specials, bends, branches, sockets, pipe cutting and wastages, cutting and making good sealing the gaps with cement mortar and making in water tight, etc., all complete as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: Rate Shall be include the removal of old existing rain water pipes.
Providing and fixing factory made 3 track uPVC glazed / wire mesh windows / doors comprising of lead free uPVC multi-chambered frame, sash and mullion / coupler (where ever required) extruded profiles having minimum wall thickness of 1.70mm for Using R3 series with frame (98mm & above and upto 112mm) x (40mm & above & and upto 44mm) both glazed and fly screen sash (30mm & above and upto 43mm ) x (55mm & above) with zinc alloy (zamak) powder coated handle on every glazed panel along with multi-point locking system, (Height upto 1.80m) conforming to EN: 12608 in any shape, white colour and design duly reinforced with galvanized mild steel section made of required shape & size as per CPWD Specification, uPVC extruded glazing beads, interlocks and Inline sash adaptor (where ever required) of appropriate dimension, EPDM gasket, hardware, SS 304 grade fasteners of minimum 8mm dia with countersunk head, comprising of matching polyamide PA6 grade sleeve for fixing frame to finished wall as per IS1367 : Part 1 to 14, plastic packers, plastic caps and necessary stainless steel screws, etc., Profile of frame, sash & mullion (if required)
Providing and applying TPO membrane of 1.20mm thick Fleece back with overlap joints of 75mm in both longitudinal and transverse direction of the TPO and sealed properly with hot air welding and terminate TPO above 300mm from floor level with adhesive and termination strip and fix it by screw at 300mm c/c and sealed with sealants on top including surface prepration like remove all loose gravels, dirt, oil, grease, and other foreign particles by jet or dry air and clean the surface mechanically or by grinding to make it smooth before application and PCC / cementitious covering of 75mm radius shall be provided at all junctions between vertical and horizontal faces before application of TPO completely as per specification and direction of Engineer-in-Charge.
