Resolving NO LIGHT complaints pertainig to Street light/ floodlight/building light/gate light/ post/top lantarn fittings etc , any description, capacity and in any location on day to day complaint basis including repair / rectification / replacement of defective parts/items like service cables, MCB's, MCCB's, DB's etc. complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (i) Defective parts shall be measured and paid separately under respective item her under. However cost of miner parts/ material i.e. screw, nails, washers, gullies, fuse, minor requirement of 2/3 core wire, insulation tap, oiling greasing etc required to making the article serviceable/working shall deemed included in quoted unit rates. Contractor shall submitte a list of parts replaced on daily basis. (ii) Contractor or his representative will collect complaints in writing from complaint cell of AGE E/M of GE East Pryagraj at Varanasi Cantt daily at 0830 hours to 0930 Hrs. (ii) Each complaint shall be attended / check on same day and be resolve within 2 working days. Sufficient manpower shall be ensured by the contractor to resolve the issues with in time line given above. If the complaint is not been resolved within due/ specified time line, a penalty @ Rs 100/- (Rupees One Hundred only) per day shall be levied on the contractor. (iii) Contractor or his representative will submit daily report on the status of complaint (s) with specific reason for pending complaint(s).

Contd/... (iv) The T&P including ladder and safety instruments as required for execution of work shall be arranged by the contractor and cost of the same deemed included in quoted unit rates. (v) A pakka bound register shall be maintain by contractor to keep the record the date wise complaints received and resolved. Each complaint shall be signed by user rep/MES NCO as a token of satisfactory resolvation of complaint and verified by JE/AGE. Measurements recorded in MB shall be in accordance of this register. This register shall invariably be produced along with RAR for technical check. please note that NO RAR SHALL BE INTERTAINED FOR PAYMENT WITHOUT THIS REGISTER.

Taking down / unserviceable cable of any description and size from any location complete all as specified and directed. Note : Earth work (Excavation, RFR, & removal), shall be measured and paid separately in respective item here -in-under .

M&L for supplying, laying, jointing, commissioning and tasting of LT power cable, Solid Aluminum Conductor heavy duty cable, XLPE Insulated, PVC Inner sheathed, Unarmoured , Extruded PVC Type ST2 Outer Sheathed, 650 V/1100 V Grade, 4 sqmm 2 core as in service cable complete all as specified and directed.

Excavation in trenches in soft/loose soil not exceeding 1.5 M wide and not exceeding 1.5 Mtr deep and getting out to required level or slope for laying of pipes/ cables etc complete all as specified and directed.

Returning filling including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm in soft soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated surplus soil at a distance not exceeding 50 Mtr and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 Mtr above the starting point complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for sand cushioning with dry local sand for cable protecting under ground cable (8 cm before laying the cable and 15 cm after laying the cable) in trenches including punning the sand up to 18 cm thick and consolidated complete all as specified and directed. Note : Punned thickness 18 cm shall be measured only.

Supply and laying dry well burnt locally available brick sub class 'B' old size bricks laid flat with width equal to the length of whole bricks over cable as cable protection complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for making bore hole for passing cable through / insertion of 80/50/32mm dia GI pipe under PCC road/ taxi track/ runway/ hard standing up to 1200 mm but not less than 450mm from surface complete all as specified and directed. NOTES :- (i) The equipment's, tools & plants, material required for boring shall be arranged by the contractor and cost of the same shall deemed included in quoted unit rates (ii) GI pipe Shall be measured and paid separately in respective item here under as 'Supply only".

Taking down / unserviceable Pipe of any description and size from any location complete all as specified and directed. Note : Earth work (Excavation, RFR, & removal), shall be measured and paid separately in respective item here-in-under.

S&F 32 mm dia GI pipe 'light grade' ISI marked, fixed on wall/pole or laid in trenches, under road crossing/hard standing complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Locating fault in HT/LT UG cable ( any size) with the help of hiring Fault locator Megger machine, repairing the fault by removing of faulty portion of cable and re-jointing the same with the help of cable jointing kit and testing complete all as specified and directed NOTE : (i) All the instruments and T&P required for the above job shall be arranged by the contractor and cost of the same shall deemed included in the quoted unit rates. (ii) Jointing Kit shall be measured and paid separately in respective items here-in -under as "Supply Only ". Supply only straight through heat shrink type joint jointing kit for 1100 volt grade cable with jointing material & accessories suitable for XLPE cable of size 25 sqmm to 50 sqmm, 3.5 core complete all as specified and directed. Note : Labour component for fixing jointing kit shall deemed included in quoted unit rate for item No.28 here-in-above.

Dismantling of electric pole with cross arm, clamp, isolators etc, any description and length including necessary earthwork, demolition of concrete, disconnection of conductor/cable, if required complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation and painting steel pole including cross arms, clamps (any disruption, length, shape, size and location) with two coat of aluminium paint, making 15cm wide bends alternatively with black and yellow fluorescent paint paint (3xblack and 2x Yellow starting with black bend above collar), writing letter or figures (Block Roman, Italic as Indian), n'exc 5 cm high with thick synthetic enamel paint of apprised shade so as to numbering/ marking in a 15cm dia yellow circle on pole(s) and applying one coat of white wash on coping complete all as specified and directed. Note : - The T&P (including ladder and safety instruments required for the above job shall be arranged by the contractor and cost of the same shall deemed included in quoted unit rates.

Taking down light fittings, any description, type, pattern, capacity and in any location including fixing accessories, if ordered, disconnection of electric connection complete all as specified and directed.

The earth pit's bore hole shall be of dia 200 to 250 mm and min depth 3.50 meters and backfilled (after placing electrode in position) with minimum 50 Kg of ground enhancement compound ERIC Contains mixture of Silica sulphate, Alumina, Iron Oxide, titanium Oxide, Calcium Oxide, Sodium Oxide, Zink Oxide etc. RCC earthing pit of size 450 x 450mm having Cl chamber cover with locking arrangement shall also be provided as directed complete all as specified and directed. Note : The earth resistance value shall be less than or equal to 3 Ohm & EN voltage < 02 V.The contractor will facilitate the testing of eathing at his own cost. If less than 3 Ohm result in testing is not achieved, the contractor will ensure the same by making grid system to achieve the desired result without any extra cost to the Govt.

M&L for 25x4mm galvanised iron strip as in earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead, fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Loose filling and spreading as directed with broken stone or boulders / aggregates of gauge 40 to 80 mm in electric Installation complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Site Clearance in soft/loose, removing garbage where directed complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Danger notice plate of size 20x15 cm for LT, made of 1.6mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enamelled white, with letters, figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed with M.S. clamps, bolts and nuts of suitable size complete all as specified and directed.

For this purpose contractor shall ensure the same by liasoning with the compitent authority of MES. (iii) The T&P including ladder and safety instruments required shall be arranged by the contractor and cost of the same shall deemed included in the quoted unit rates.

M&L for Framed work such as grills, gratings, etc.. with ends of bars shouldered and/or riveted, or forged into spikes; framed guard bars; barred iron doors; ladders; framed balusters; walk ways; railings; framework of water tanks and similar work conforming to Fe.290.Gde-E-165 including two coat of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer (over GL) and with two coat of black japan paint (grouted portion) complete all as specified and directed. Note : Framed work/ stand for feeder pillar boxes shall be measured and paid under this item.

M&L for plain cement concrete 1:3:6, type C-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) in foundations, filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed. Note : Concrete required for fixing framed work/ stand for feeder pillar boxes shall be measured and paid under this item.
