REPAIRS TO WATER PROOFING TO ROOF TREATMENT AND RELATED WORKS TO CERTAIN TECHNICAL ACCN AND OTM ACCN AT MH KHADKI UNDER GE MH AND RH KHADKI

NOTE FOR ALL PAINITNG AND WATER PROOFING ITEMS :- The following precautionary measures shall be ensured by the contractor before and during execution of the work :- (i) All the painting works and water proofing treatment to roof shall be got executed through original material manufacturing company or their authorised applicators as approved by GE and contractor should submit MOU with the manufacturing company or their authorised applicator before execution of work. (ii) Contractor shall deposit entire quantity of materials (proprietory materials) in sealed containers required for painting works covered under subject contract in the custody of Engineer-In-Charge/ Office in charge of unit. (iii) The materials as required shall be issued to contractor by JE/ Engineer-In-Charge on daily basis and the empty containers/ bags shall be deposited in the store of Engineer -in-Charge by the contractor, for verification as per standard consumption/ coverage prescribed by the manufacturers. (iv) After completion of painting work contractor shall remove and clean all the droplets/stain of paint left on the floor glasses and joinery.

Taking down existing water proofing treatment from RCC roof and stone slab including removal of plaster bed below felt / membrane and disposing of the same off the premises all as specified and directed by Engineer in Charge.

M&L for providing water proofing plaster on slab average thickness 20mm in CM 1:3 mixing with liquid water proofing compound all as per manufactureres instructions, finished even and smooth without using extra cement all as specified and directed Note :- Liquid WPC shall be measured & paid seprately under relevant item of this BOQ.

Supply only liquid water proofing compound hydroseal-W+ or eqivalent (for plaster hardening, to contol efflorescence & fungal growth) as approved by GE.

M & L for applying APP (Atactic Poly Propylene) bitumen membrane 3mm thick APP modified weight not less than 3.60 Kg/Sqm reinforced with non woven polyester fibre of weight 160 gms/sqm as center core and without multiple layers of polyethylene, finished on top and bottom with 7 micron thick flammable polyethylene, applied by thermo fusion using LPG torch on the bottom portion of the membrane, after applying a coat of bituminous primer 0.40Kg/Sqm over roof (An overlap of 100mm & 150mm shall be provided on sides and ends respectively) complete all as per manufacturers instructions. Finally, painting with a coat of bituminous aluminium paint @100gms / Sqm complete all as specified & directed.

M&L for cutting out cracks to V-section in existing roofs or terracing, cleaning out, wetting, grouting with cement and sand slurry in CM 1:3 complete all as specified and directed

M&L for cutting out cracks to V-section in existing roofs or terracing, cleaning out, and filling solidly with a hot mixture of bitumen and clean dry sand 1:1 ( by weight) complete all as specified and directed

M&L for Hydraulically pressed burnt clay tile plain of size 200x200x19/20mm machine made laid over & including 20mm thick screed bed or bedding layer in CM 1:3 mixed with liquid water proofing compound and jointed, pointed in neat cement slurry mixed with 5% crude oil by weight of cement.

M&L for providing water proofing plaster at the junction of wall and slab at chajjas, lintels etc, of average thickness 20mm in CM 1:3 mixing with liquid water proofing compound all as per manufactureres instructions, finished even and smooth without using extra cement all as specified and directed Note :- Liquid WPC shall be measured & paid seprately under relevant item of this BOQ.

Making hole and M&L for fixing nozzles in construction joints/whereas required and patching the joint with cement sand mortar and grouting or other equivalent with pressure pump 40-60 PSI in the nozzle thus fixed with cement slurry admixed with Non shrink polymeric grouting compound all as specified and directed. Make : Pidilite or equivalent make as approved by GE.

M&L for water proofing treatment of External walls, chhajjas DFT: 110 microns by applying two coats of elestromeric coating Raincoat, material covering capabity 3 Sqm per litre in 2 Coats without dilution & 1 coat of efflorescent resistant primer 10sqm/litre/coat after cleaning the surface throughly and sealing all cracks with acrylic sealing compound as per the manufacturers specifications and directions of Engr-in-Charge . The product shall have following properties: Elongation > 100% as per ASTM D 412, Tensile strength : 2.5 Mpa as per ASTM D 412, Water Resistance conforming to SS 500, Crack bridging ability conforming to Class A4 as per EN 1062 Part 7, Positive hydrostatic pressure > 7 bar as per DIN 1048, Anti-carbonation property complying EN 1062 Part 6, RCPT conforming to AS Make : Raincoat shall be of PlDlLlTE or equivalent make as approved by GE

M&L for applying 20-40 mm in width Polyurethane sealant (Silane -terminated polyurethane compound) for sealing of dynamic joints and cracks in interior as well as exteriors of Expansion joints/construction joints and other cracks all as specified and directed all as specified and directed by engineer-in-charge. Make : Asian smart care hybrid Pu sealant /Dr fixit PU sealant or equivalent make as approved by GE.

S&F 45mm dia Closed-cell polymer-based foam filler rod in construction/Expansion joints wherever required and patching the joint complete all as specified and directed. Make : Supreme Dura rod or equivalent make as approved by GE.

S&F 20-40 mm thick Crosslinked, pre-moulded, compressible joint filler board in expansion joints where ever required and patching the joint all as specified and directed. Make : Supreme "DURA BOARD HD 100"or equivalent make as approved by GE

Dismantling of Plain or corrugated steel sheeting, any gauge, thickness, including Nainital or similar pattern roof covering and wall cladding all as specified and directed

S&F in repairs 0.63mm thick, plain galvanised mild steel sheet in ridges, hips, valley gutters, drip and straight flashings (length and girth as fixed) with grade of zinc coating 275 in crumble / expansion joint and similar work, cut to size, holes punched; including round headed screws, clout nails or rivets and fixed to RCC wall framing with plain 40mm lap joints with riveted or welded seams, including bending or turning up, mitred angles, etc. as required all as specified and directed.

Taking down cement plaster in any description incl racking out joints hacking for key and scrubbing down with water etc complete all as specified and directed

M&L rendering 15 mm thick (10mm + 5mm) plaster on fair face of brick work or concrete surface in CM 1:4 and surface finished even and fair by mixing liquid water proofing compound as per manufacturers instructions complete. Note :- Liquid WPC shall be measured & paid seprately under relevant item of this BOQ.

M&L for applying two coats of weather proof acrylic exterior paint (100%) Acrylic) over a coat of self primer including scaffolding, trestles, ladders, cradles and necessary safety measures complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Taking down drain pipes (any size or pattern), including all fittings, T, bends,etc., including cleaning or refixing (measured overall as fixed along the centre line over fitting and accessories)

S&F 110 mm bore PVC (SWR) pipes type 'A' single socketed, in any length with rubber ring joints, fixed on walls complete all as specified.
