M&L for cleaning and racking out the existing expansion joints 25mm to 30mm wide and up to required depth by appropriate hand tools (Chisel and hammer or L hook) including removing the existing sealing compound from the edges with knife or any orther means such as chisel and hammer and grinding tools without damaging the edges and sides of the joints and removing the loose particle using wire brush and hot compressed air and priming the sides as per manufacturer's instructions, provision of 30 to 35mm thick polyethlene rod or appropriate de bonding strip at bottom of joints and sealing the joint with pitch free grey polyurethane sealant conforming to BS 5212 (Type-FB) (minimum depth of sealant above de bonding strip shall be 10-12mm) and applying masking tape on edges or joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant on top surface to give a neat finish to the sealant and removing the masking tape after sealant applied complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for elastomeric compound on runway/dispersal/raxi track etc all as per the following specification and as directd by Engr-in-Charge:- (a) Cutting/Chipping of existing cracked concrete/Bituminous surface not less than 100mm wide and 40mm deep with concrete cutter in proper alignment, removing all loose concrete/dust etc by air blower and carefully cleaning the surface to receive new material. (b) Appliying primer to old surfaces using pump sprayer or brush covering all the area as directed.make of primer RDL 942 or equivalent. The primer shall be allowed to dry before pouring the elastomeric compound. (c) Pouring of elastomeric compound manufactured by M/S Choksey or equivalent (as approved by Garrision Engineer) mixed with all ingradient and pouring the mix in the affected area trowelled to acheive grooved or textured finish including all necessary forwork all as directed and specified. Note : (i) The rate shall be inclusive of providing masking tape at joints and formwork required if any at spalled joints edges (ii) The quoted rate deemed to be inclusive of making good to disturbed joint filling around the area where material is applied.
M&L for cutting existing loose patches/spalled edges/widening of existing cracks of concrete pavement in geometrical shapes to average depth of 20 to 25mm using diamond cutters operated with generator sets,cleaning the surface with air compressors and all as specified and directed.

Demolition of cement concrete (Unreinforced) in ground floors and paving's (PQC) concrete as in PPT/Links/Loops etc and removal the same outsides MOD Land etc complete all as specified and directed.
Material and labour for pavement quality concrete (PQC) of any thickness , of flexural strength 45 Kg/ sqcm (lower control limit) in field as per design mix , using minimum 400 Kg/cum and not exceeding 450 Kg/cum of cement including triangular/non circular synthetic fibre reinforcement @ 0.25% by weight of cement including steel form work for butt nosing, rounding off edges , curing , spread and compacted by using needle, plate and screed vibrators etc complete all as specified and directed. Note: (i) The cost of admixture required as per design mix shall deemed to be included in the rate (the constant shall be applied based on design mix). (ii) Polyster triangular/non circular synthetic fibres as secondary reinforcement mixed in concrete shall be measured and paid for separtely under resp-ective item of this schedule. However, mixing shall be deemed to be included in the rate (the constant shall be applied based on design mix). (iii) Construction joints, dummy (contraction joints) and expansion joints shall be measured and paid separately under respective items. (iv) Deduction shall be made in PQC for quantity for expansion joints.
Supply only polyster triangular fibres (Recron triangular fibre type CT 2012 12mm) having tensile strength 4000-6000 kg/cm2, designed for melting point more than 250 degree celsius@ 0.25% by weight of cement in controlled pavement quality cement concrete and having specific gravity of 1.34 to 1.40 complete all as specified and directed
Material and labour for forming 25mm thick expansion joint, filled with DURA board HD-100 (Brand supreme or equivalent as approved ) applying bond breaker tape on top of board for complete depth of joint i.e.the thickness of concrete slab, provision of closed celled polyurethane backup rod 30mm dia, filled with polyurethane sealant (minimun depth of sealant above backup rod shall be 15mm), complying with BS-5212, BS-4254 and EN 41875-2003 priming the sides minimum MAF of 30% with ten years performance quarantee and applying masking tape on edges of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant on top surface and to give neat finish to the sealant all as shown on drawing and removing the masking tape after sealant is appylied for thickness of concrete slab 325mm/355mm complete all as specified and directed.
Material and labour for forming contraction dummy joint, 100mm deep and 8mm wide (using diamond cutter) primed the surfaces filled with polyuretane sealant (minimum depth of sealant 12mm ) complying with BS:5212 and fixing 10mm dia polyurethane rod and applying masking tape on edge of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant on top surfaces and to give a neat finish to the sealant in position as required complete all as per manufacturer's instructions complete all as specified and directed
Material and labour forming construction joint, 25mm deep and 8mm wide (using diamond cutter) , providing polyurethane backup rod 10mm dia and sealant with polyurethane sealant (minimum depth of sealant 10mm), complying with BS:5212, BS 4254, and EN 41875-2003 priming the sides minimum MAF+30% with ten years performance guarantee and applying masking tape on edge of joint to prevent accidental spillage of sealant on top surfaces and to give a neat finish to the sealant as shown on drawing and removing the masking tape after sealant is applied complete all as specified and directed.
Material and labour for finishing surface of concrete rods, pavements by brooming while concrete is green complete all as specified and directed.
Material and Labour for sand filling 10mm thick under floor including watering, levelling, and consolidation complete all as specified and as Directed.
Material and labour for high density polythene film (transparent colour) in single layer of 400 micron thickness of virgin quality (as per ASTM D 2103, IS-2508) laid with side and end overlaping not less than 300mm complete all as specified and directed. Note for Serial Nos 1 to 16:- (i) Site will made available as per the Runway avilability. (ii) Stores required shall be procured to the extent of 40% immediately on issue of work order. The balance stores shall be aranged well in advance in consultation with the User's requirement. (iii) The repair work required in this work is utmost urgent nature. Contractor to ensure thet there is no delay in completion on account of material and manpower availability.
