Removing dry or oil bound distemper, water proofing cement paint and the like by scrapping, sand papering and preparing the surface smooth including necessary repairs to scratches etc. complete. (HSR 30.22)

10 mm thick cement plaster. (2) 1:3 (1 cement: 3 fine sand). (HSR 11.4.2).

12 mm cement plaster of mix: (4) 1:6 (1 cement: 6 fine sand). (HSR 11.5.4).

Providing and applying white cement based putty of average thickness 1 mm, of approved brand and manufacturer, over the plastered wall surface to prepare the surface even and smooth complete. (HSR 11.60).

Distempering with dry distemper of approved brand and manufacture (one or more coats) and of required shade on old work to give an even shade. (HSR 30.24)

Painting two coats excluding priming coat with synthetic enamel paint in all shades on new wood work or metallic or plastered or concrete surfaces to give an even shade. (HSR 11.78).

Finishing walls with Acrylic Smooth exterior paint of required shade : (1) New work (Two or more coat applied @ 1.67 litre/10 sqm over and including priming coat of exterior primer applied @ 2.20 kg/10 sqm). (HSR 11.95.1).

Demolishing brick work manually/ by mechanical meansincluding stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. (HSR 5.7.1)

Providing and laying brick tiles over mumty roofs, grouted with cement mortar 1 :3 (1 cement : 3 fine sand) mixed with 2% of integral water proofing compound by weight of cement, over 12 mm layer of cement mortar 1 :3 (1 cement : 3 fine sand) and finished neat: With common burnt clay non-modular brick tiles of class (HSR 9.14.1)

Providing and fixing 1st quality ceramic glazed wall tiles conforming to IS : 15622 (thickness to be specified by the manufacturer ) of approved make in all colours, shades except burgundy, bottle green, black of any size as approved by Engineer-in-Charge in skirting, risers of steps and dados over 12 mm thick bed of cement Mortar 1:3 (1 cement: 3 coarse sand) and jointing with grey cement slurry @ 3.3kg per sqm including pointing in white cement mixed with pigment of matching shade complete. (HSR 10.58).

Providing and fixing 10 mm thick acid and/or alkali resistant tiles of approved make and colour using acid and/or alkali resisting mortar bedding, and joints filled with acid and/or alkali resisting cement as per IS : 4457, complete as per the direction of Engineer-in- Charge. In flooring on a bed of 1 O mm thick mortar 1 :4 ( 1 acid proof cement : 4 coarse sand) (HSR 10.31.1)

Providing and fixing ISI marked flush door shutters conforming to IS : 2202 (Part I) non-decorative type, core of block board construction with frame of 1st class hard wood and well matched commercial 3 ply veneering with vertical grains or cross bands and face veneers on both faces of shutters. (HSR 12.37). 25 mm thick (for cupboard) including ISI marked nickel plated bright finished M.S. Piano hinges IS : 3818 marked with necessary screws. (HSR 12.37.3).

Providing and fixing wire gauge shutters using galvanized M.S. wire gauge of average width of aperture 1.4 mm in both directions with wire of dia 0.63 mm, for doors, windows and clerestory windows with hinges and necessary screws: (2) 30 mm thick shutters. (1) with ISI marked M.S. pressed butt hinges bright finished of required size. (2) 30 mm thick. (HSR 12.19.2.1.2).

Providing and fixing glazed shutters for doors, windows and clerestory windows using 4 mm thick float glass panes, including ISI marked M.S. pressed butt hinges bright finished of required size with necessary screws. (2) Kiln seasoned and chemically treated Hollock wood. (2) 30 mm thick. (HSR 12.10.2.2)

Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/manual means over areas (exceeding 30 cm in depth, 1.5 m in width as well as 10 sqm on plan) including getting out and disposal of excavated earth lead upto 50 m and lift upto 1.5 m, as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (1) All Kind of Soil. (HSR 4.12.1)

Providing and laying in position cement concrete of specified grade excluding the cost of centering and shuttering - All work below plinth level and up to Floor IV level: (HSR 6.1) 1:4:8 (1 Cement : 4 coarse sand (zone-III) : 8 graded stone aggregate 40 mm nominal size). (HSR 6.1.6).

Brick work with common burnt clay non-modular bricks of class designation 7.5 in foundation and plinth Cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement: 6 coarse sand) (HSR 7.21.2)

Excavating, supplying and filling of local earth (including royalty) by mechanical transport up to a lead of 1 km also including ramming and watering of the earth in layers not exceeding 20 cm in trenches, plinth, sides of foundation etc. complete. (HSR 4.33).

Providing and Laying 80 mm thick ISi marked lntertocking Paver Blocks conforming to IS 15658:2006/IRC SP 63: 2004 of all shapes and colours in design mix cement M 40 over the bed of 30 mm thick fine sand complete in all respect. (HSR 17.69.2)

20 mm thick cement plaster damp-proof course 1:3 with 2 coats of bitumen at 1.65 kg. per sqm, laid hot and sanded: (1) Vertical. (HSR 6.12.1).

Brick work with common burnt clay machine moulded perforated bricks of class designation 12.5 conforming to IS: 2222 in superstructure above plinth level up to floor four level in cement mortar 1:6 (1 cement : 6 coarse sand) : (2) With Modular bricks. (HSR 7.23.2).

15 mm cement plaster on the rough side of single or half brick wall of mix: (2) 1:6 (1 cement: 6 fine sand). (HSR 11.6.2)

White washing with lime to give an even shade New work (three or more coats) (HSR 11.61.1)

Recovery items: The rates quoted against recovery items will not be included in the total amount rather it will be deducted while calculating financial statement of the agency. Material obtained from dismantling of existing brick work, bituminous layer and granular layers have been calculated taking assumption that 80% of theoretical material will be retrieved. The dismantled material can used in any of the item for the work after modification (bringing it to required specifications) after approval from employer. In case it is not possible to use this material on the work, the agency can take away this material. This material can be taken away by the agency at the price quoted by the agency but minimum price to be quoted is limited to reserve price as fixed and mentioned as under :- (i) Good Bricks @ Rs. 4/- each

(ii) Brick bats @ Rs. 400/- Cum

(iii) Recovery of bricks received condemended existing boundary wall @ Rs. 4/- each Note: All quantities of the above materials have been worked out on the basis of theoretical quantities laid on this road. However, agency may visit site before quoting rates and assess the extent of retrieved material. There shall be no measurement after actual dismantling and if material after dismantling is found on lesser side, no claim of agency on this score will be entertained and full recovery on the basis of quoted rate and quantity exhibited in the BOQ shall be made. The reserve rates are minimum rates to be used as base for quoting purchase rate by the agency. No rates below the reserve price will be entertained and reserve price will be considered for all purposes in case the agency quotes lesser than reserve price.
