EXCAVATION OF TRENCHES Horizontal Directional Drilling for laying of U/G PLB/HDPE Pipes upto 50mm dia to a standard depth of 1.65m as specified in laying of practices of OF Cable by HDD method and pulling of signle pipe
LAYING OF PLB UPTO 50mm DIAMETER AND JOINING WITH COUPLER (Material to be supplied by BSNL). Laying & fixing of PLB Pipe with GI clamps (inside building or area which is not exposed to sunlight) as per specifications along with supply of GI clamps (4mm thickness, 25mm width) and all installation materials. Clamp spacing should be approx 1M to take care of the load.
OFC PULLING ( OF Cable & Accessories to be supplied by BSNL) Pulling of O.F. Cable and allied works ( viz. Replacing couplers and Back Filling in case of Manholes, Sealing of PLB ends, refilling sand, Refixing RCC cover and backfiling in case of Joint Chamber/Manholes. No charges to be paid for opening of Manholes/Joint Chambers. Upto 48 F
BORING AND CC WORKS. Providing CC protection of size 20 cmx20 cm in the ratio of 1:2:4 for encasing PLB Pipe / GI Pipe/DWC pipe in Roads, bridges, Crossings and Culverts and for low depth protection, or on wheel guard of bridge as specified in the construction practices of OF cable construction, including material.
JOINTING CHAMBER/HAND HOLE. Construction of joint chamber, with brick soling base, of inner size of 1.2Mx1.2Mx1M made of full brick thick wall with RCC cover (1:2:4 ratio) slab of size 1.7Mx1.7Mx0.1M using 10mm dia TMT bar 150mm centre to centre both ways. All five internal surfaces should be plastered (1:3 ratio). Scope includes required excavation, backfilling with clean sand and all above operations including supply of materials. Details as per specification.
ROUTE/ JOINT INDICATOR Supplying, fixing and concreting of route/joint indicator, painting and sign writing of Route/Joint Indicators, as per specification
CABLE SPLICING AND TERMINATION WORKS Splicing of all the fibers of OF Cable laid at every joint within specified splicjng loss rage ( < = 0.02dB) and making ternination at the ends. All materials and labour except Joint Closoures to be supplied by Bidder/Vendor. For 48 Fibers
Documentation of /route Index Diagram in Soft and Hard copies. ( Three sets of each ) and Recovery of Empty Drum Documentation of Route Index Diagram in soft soil and hard copies ( Three sets of each )
