Modification of control room at RT-Varanasi

Fabrication and installation of a table in the control room matching the design and dimensions of the existing half-curvilinear table: approximate dimensions - Outer Curvelinear length - 3000 mm Inner Curvelinear length- 2100 mm Height 760 mm, Table platform- 600 mm wide The scope includes supply of all necessary materials, including wood/plywood, laminate sheets, adhesives, and finishing compounds. The work involves accurate cutting, shaping, sanding, fitting, and application of laminate finish to entire surface original table surface. All activities shall be performed using approved high-quality material, complete in all as per direction of EIC.

Supplying and fixing 19mm thick BWR grade waterproof plywood over existing fixed glass aluminium window frame, including cutting to required size, fixing with stainless steel screws over the aluminium section and, where necessary, anchoring into adjacent wall surfaces using suitable fasteners to ensure a rigid and stable installation. The exposed plywood surface shall be finished with 1.0 mm thick decorative laminate of approved make and shade, fixed using synthetic resin adhesive (Fevicol SH or equivalent), with all edges properly finished and chamfered or edge-banded as required. The rate shall include all materials, labour, tools, surface preparation, and minor finishing works to complete the item in all respects as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing, supplying, and installation of high-quality opaque vertical blinds of approved make, consisting of durable, fire-retardant fabric designed for complete light blockage and privacy. The blinds shall include a sturdy anodized aluminum or powder-coated steel headrail with smooth chain or wand controls for tilting and drawing the slats fully open or closed. Installation must be secure and aligned as per manufacturer’s instructions, including all necessary mounting hardware. The product shall comply with relevant safety and building standards, with samples submitted for client approval prior to installation, complete in all as per direction of EIC.

Providing, supplying, and fixing of PVC/Vinyl flooring (1.5 to 2.0 mm thick) of approved make, laid over a properly prepared, clean, dry, and level surface. Surface preparation shall include removal of dust, grease, oil, and any loose materials to ensure proper adhesion. The flooring shall be durable, wear-resistant, and suitable for the intended use area, with uniform thickness and color. Installation shall include all necessary adhesives and accessories, ensuring a smooth, seamless finish and firm bonding as per manufacturer’s guidelines. The product shall comply with relevant quality and safety standards, with samples submitted for client approval prior to installation, complete in all as per direction of EIC.

Wooden Fixed Partitioning- Providing, Supplying and fixing full-height partition( up to 10 feet height) consisting of an internal framework made of 50mm x 50mm extruded aluminium box sections (powder-coated or anodized as specified), placed at 600 mm centres both horizontally and vertically, securely fixed to floor, ceiling, and adjoining surfaces as per site conditions. Both sides of the partition shall be sheathed with 12 mm thick BWR (Boiling Water Resistant) grade plywood, finished with 1 mm thick laminate of approved make, shade, and finish on both sides. All laminate joints shall be properly aligned with uniform gaps, edges neatly finished, and corners protected with suitable edge trims or corner guards as directed. The scope of work includes complete supply of all materials, skilled labour, equipment, tools, adhesives, screws, nails, fasteners, edge trims, surface preparation, and installation as per approved design, detailed drawings, and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. The rate shall be inclusive of all wastage, transportation, scaffolding, loading, unloading, handling, and complete in all as per direction of  Engineer-in-Charge.

Providing, Supplying and fixing a frameless glass  door using 12 mm clear toughened glass. The installation will include Dorma/Ozone single-leg spider connectors, ceiling and bottom connectors, glass-to-glass connectors, handle, doorset, floor spring, pivot, and all other necessary fittings. The complete setup will be installed as per the attached drawings and design specifications and as per direction of EIC.

Providing, Supplying and fixing a frameless fixed glazing, consisting of 12 mm clear toughened glass, fixed into a wooden frame partition. The installation will be completed as per the design specifications & as per direction of EIC.
