Replacement of various Bends and Fabrication of Bends of Overhead Chain Conveyor in Rodding Shop

Replacement of horizontal bend of various radius of curvature and degree of curvature at various places. The bend is of 4" I section of webb alloy fitted with necessary bracket, siffners and 4" turn roller. Necessary preparation on the ground to be made as per site requirement and the bed is to be adjusted to suitable dimension and lay our which can be taken or extrapolated from site before installation. The necessary scaffolding and temporary platform to carry out the job is to be erected by the contractor. All the joint to be welded and ground as per norm of over head conveyor with low hydrogen electrode and cleats are to be provided / welded at the joints.

Replacement of horizontal bend over matting and shot blasting machine. The bend is of 4" I section of webb alloy fitted with necessary bracket, siffners and 4" turn roller. Replacement of vertical bend of various no radius and degree of curvature. The bend is of 4" I section of webb alloy fitted with necessary bracket, siffners and 4" turn roller. Necessary preparation on the ground to be made as per site requirement and the bed is to be adjusted to suitable dimension and lay our which can be taken or extrapolated from site before installation. The necessary scaffolding and temporary platform to carry out the job is to be erected by the contractor. All the joint to be welded and ground as per norm of over head conveyor with low hydrogen electrode and cleats are to be provided / welded at the joints.

Fabrication of horizontal bend of various radious and degree of curvature. The bend is of 4" I section of webb alloy to be fitted with necessary bracket, siffners and 4" turn rollers. As the drawings are not available necessary dimensions like radius of curvature, degree of curvature and tan to tan length can be taken from site before making the lay out. The bending is to be done from straight piece of 4" I section of webb alloy to be supplied by Nalco. How ever the bending machine or press has to be arranged by contractor. The bends will be regular and smooth in curvature portion with out any curl or defect.

As the drawings are not available necessary dimensions like radius of curvature, degree of curvature degree of curvature and tan to tan length and height can be taken from site before making the lay out. The bending is to be done from straight piece of 4" I section of ebb alloy to be supplied by Nalco. For longer bends it may be required to do it in two parts and to be welded and as per over head conveyor norm after providing a cleat on the joint.

Change of the 4" bend roller. The rollers dia is 4" and length is 80mm. The rollers are to be greased prior to fixing. The necessary scaffolding and temporary platform to carry out the job is to be erected by the contractor. Bend rollers are to be supplied by Nalco

Change of half trolley of chain. Half trolleys are 4" traction roller fixed on the over head conveyors. The half trolleys are yet to eb supplied by Nalco.

Replacement of drops of various sizes namely 343 / 319, 343 / 358, 358/391, 343/362/343. The drops are to be fabricated from the straight webb alloy section as per the lay out at site.

Replacement of load presence actuator at stop station, zone locking and zone locking / unlocking actuator, saturation bars of over head conveyor. Necessary temporary platforms if required for the job are to be erected by the party

Replacement of traction wheel (1000 mm dia) fitted at various bend of over head conveyor. The job includes dismantling the traction wheel, changing the bearings of reqd., refitting of same. This also covers fitting of new traction wheel.

Over head chain conveyor track centering with various machine link auto butt stripping, Hooking Unhooking etc consists of dismantling of bend track along with chain, straightening of bend track, fixing & alignment of track and fixing of chain.

Drive gear box replacement & alignment of sprocket job consists of dismantling of gear box along with sprocket (Both drive & drive) & fixing of new gear box & sprockets with proper alignment.

Replacement of track changer of over head chain conveyor consists of dismantling of worn out track changer and fixing of new track changer with respect to the existing over head chain conveyor and testing

Replacement of P&F track of OHS conveyor consists of dismantling of worn out P&F track ,dismantling of the chains ,fixing of new P&F track with respect to the existing track of the chain conveyor ,fixing of chains and testing

Replacement of chain assy of over head chain conveyor as detailed in scope of work.
