Execution of work for Protective Conservation and repair to damaged part of boundary wall and providing public amenities to Ancient Mound at Bharatpur, Purba Bardhaman for the F.Y. 2025-26

Description and specification of items to the executed.

Item No. 112- Demolishing brick work manually including stacking of serviceable material and disposal of unserviceable material within 50 metres lead as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. In cement mortar.

Item No. 111- Demolishing cement concrete manually including disposal of material within 50 metres leads as per direction of Engineer - in - charge. Nominal concrete 1:3:6 or richer mix.

Item No. 110- Earth work in excavation by manual means in foundation trenches or drains (not exceeding 1.5 m in width or 10 sqm on plan), including dressing of sides and ramming of bottoms, lift upto 1.5 m, including getting out the excavated soil and disposal of surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m. All kinds of soil.

Item No. 109- Extra for every additional lift of 1.5 m or part thereof in excavation/ banking excavated or stacked materials. All Kinds of soil.

Item No. 108- Providing and laying in position plain cement concrete (PCC) of specified grade excluding the cost of cantering and shuttering - All work up to plinth level : 1:1½:3 (1 Cement: 1½ coarse sand (zone-III) derived from natural sources : 3 graded stone aggregate 20 mm nominal size derived from natural sources).

Item No. 101- Smooth finishing of the exposed surface of R.C.C. work (Beams and Columns) with 6 mm thick cement mortar 1:3 (1 Cement : 3 fine sand).

Item No. 100- Brick work with common burnt clay F.P.S. (non modular) 1st class bricks in sub structure (foundation and plinth) upto plinth level, in: Cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand).

Item No. 99- Brick work with common burnt clay F.P.S. (non modular) 1st class bricks in superstructure above plinth level and up to 1st Floor Level (upto 4 m height), in all shapes and sizes in: Cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand).

Item No. 98- Half brick masonry with common burnt clay F.P.S. (non modular) First Class Bricks in superstructure above plinth level up to 1st Floor Level (upto 4 m height), in: Cement mortar 1:3 (1 cement :3 coarse sand).

Item No. 97- Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, lead up to 50 m and lift upto 1.5 m.

Item No. 96- Fabrication, supply, and installation of two (2 nos) structural gates, including frames, made from various Galvanized Iron (GI) sections, such as pipes, flats, and hollow sections. All members shall be cut, prepared, and welded according to the approved designs and specifications. CNC cutting is required for specific ornamental fittings at the ridge and mid-span, featuring a Buddhist cultural theme. After fabrication, all steel surfaces shall be cleaned and prepared for painting. A priming coat of an approved steel primer will be applied to all surfaces before final finishing. The gates, including built-up sections and miscellaneous fittings, shall be properly hoisted, fixed, and secured in their designated positions. (Dimensions: Main Gate: One (1 no) gate with a clear span of 3.0 meters x 2.0 meters. Side Gate: One (1 no) gate with a clear span of 1.2 meters x 2.0 meters. The combined weight of the gates shall be approximately upto 800 kilograms.) All work must be executed as per the enclosed identical drawings and detailed specifications, subject to approval by the competent authority.

Item No. 95- Fabrication and supplying of welded MS grills for fencing, intended for erection on a boundary wall. All framed work and grills shall be fabricated using mild steel sections, including flats, solid bars, and angles, conforming to IS 2062 Grade A or equivalent standard. Materials for fabrication will be as per the existing design and site specifications. The grills and framed work shall be fabricated by welding in accordance with approved workshop drawings. The weight of the completed grills shall be approximately upto 11 kg per meter length. After fabrication, all exposed steel surfaces shall be thoroughly cleaned and prepared. A priming coat of an approved steel primer shall be applied before final finishing and handover. Fabrication work shall be in strict accordance with the approved identical drawing referenced in the tender document.

Item No. 93- Steel work welded in built up sections/ framed work, including cutting, hoisting, fixing in position and applying a priming coat of approved steel primer using structural steel etc. as required. In gratings, frames, guard bar, ladder, railings, brackets, gates and similar works.

Item No. 92- Removing priming coat paint, synthetic enamel paint and the like from steel surface by scrapping, sand papering and preparing the surface smooth for application of paint.

Item No. 91- Applying priming coat: With ready mixed red oxide zinc chromate primer of approved brand and manufacture on steel works.

Item No. 90- Painting with synthetic enamel paint of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade : One or more coats.

Item No. 89- Providing and fixing stainless steel (Grade 304) railing made of Hollow tubes, channels, plates etc., including welding, grinding, buffing, polishing and making curvature (wherever required) and fitting the same with necessary stainless steel nuts and bolts complete, including fixing the railing with necessary accessories & stainless steel dash fasteners, stainless steel bolts etc., of required size, on the top of the floor with suitable arrangement, reference to the approved identical drawing as enclosed and as per approval of the competent authority.

Item No. 88- Dismantling old plaster or skirting, raking out joints and cleaning the surface for plaster including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within 50 metres lead.

Item No. 87- Cement Plaster (In Coarse Sand): 15 mm cement plaster on rough side of single or half brick wall of mix: 1:4 (1 cement: 4 coarse sand)

Item No. 83- Cement Plaster (In Coarse Sand): 6 mm cement plaster of mix : Neat cement punning.

Item No. 82- Erection and dismantling of single scaffolding system upto 5 metre height, above ground level as per requirement of site, made with bamboo, placed upto a span of 1.2 metre, centre to centre, knotting the horizontal and vertical joints using coir string including provision for working platform as per requirement and maintaining it in serviceable condition for execution of conservation works and removing thereafter. The scaffolding shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connecting with building structure, etc. wherever required, if feasible, for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen including cost of materials, labours, tools & plants etc., all complete, as per the direction of site-engineer.

Item No. 81- Wall Paint with acrylic emulsion paint, having VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) content less than 50 grams / litre, of approved brand and manufacture, including applying additional coat wherever required, to achieve even shade and colour. Two Coats.

Item No. 80- Providing and applying white cement-based putty of average thickness 1 mm, of approved brand and manufacturer, over the plastered wall surface to prepare the surface even and smooth complete.

Item No. 79- Distempering with oil bound washable distemper of approved brand and manufacture to give an even shade: New work (two or more coats) over and including water thinnable priming coat with cement primer.

Item No. 78- Stitching crack in brick masonry of boundary wall by carefully cutting outer face of brick by 125 mm deep into the wall, cleaning the gap and filling up the same with brick in cement mortar (1 Cement : 3 fine sand) including mending damages and finishing the surface to match with adjacent areas complete as per the direction of site in charge.

Item No. 77- Brick on end edging by vertically laying of Burnt Clay Brick of Class Designation 7.5 (Size: 250mm x 125mm x 75mm) along the pathway and appron edges including earthwork excavation, charges for filling gaps with cement mortar, backfilling in both side of edges, compacting the earth at both edges and removing rubbish with in a lead of 50 metre, as per direction of site-in-charge.

Item No. 76- Supplying and spreading morum soil uniformly in pathway of 100 mm thick including cleaning and dressing the ground level with removing debris, rubbish to dumping ground all complete.

Item No. 75- Supplying, fitting & fixing of 16-gauge Stainless Steel (Grade 304) frame for information board, stand at both side is to be made of 50 mm dia Stainless Steel (Grade 304) Pipe of height 2.40 m and frame border for back support is to be made of 25 mm square hollow bar along the edges (Size: 0.90 M X 0.75 M) including fixing in ground with necessary cement concrete (1:2:4), brick work, plaster with a floating coat of neat cement finish, all complete, as per the approved design. (Note: Charges for engraving/ etching write up/ notice in 16 gauge Stainless Steel (Grade 304) sheet along with supplying and fixing the Stainless-Steel sheet on the frame structure is not included in this item and should be paid separately).

Item No. 74- Charges for engraving/ etching write up/ notice in the 18 gauge Stainless Steel (Grade 304) Sheet (Size: 0.90 M X 0.75 M) and fixing the Sheet on the available frame structure including carriage to site, all complete, as per the approved design. (Note: Writeup to be collected from department).

Item No. 73- The construction of a complete masonry bench, including the brick legs, reinforced cement concrete (RCC) top slab, and sandstone veneering, finished and fixed securely in its designated position. Construction of legs using Burnt Clay Brick Masonry of Class Designation 7.5, with brick dimensions of 250mm x 125mm x 75mm. All brickwork shall be laid in cement mortar as specified by the competent authority. Casting and installation of a precast or cast-in-situ RCC slab, measuring 1.5m x 0.45m, to form the seating area. The top surface of the RCC slab shall be finished with a 30mm thick sandstone veneering of a suitable color, as approved by the Engineer-in-Charge. Fixing of the sandstone veneer shall be completed with necessary adhesive or mortar. The completed bench units shall be installed at the site, securely fixed using cement concrete and other materials as directed by the competent authority.

Item No. 72- Supplying and fixing pole mounted swinging stainless steel dustbin at site and fixing with necessary cement concrete (1:2:4), plaster with a floating coat of neat cement and other fitting & fixtures all complete, including all other charges as per direction of Site-in-charge. (Material: SS 202 Grade, Capacity: 40 Litres. Weight: 40Kgs. Dimension: 14 x 28 Inch).

Item No. 71- Providing and fixing Fibber Glass Reinforced plastic (FRP) Door Frames of cross-section 90 mm x 45 mm having single rebate of 32mm x 15mm to receive shutter of 30mm thickness. The laminate shall be moulded with fire resistant grade unsaturated polyester resin and chopped mat. Door frame laminate shall be 2mm thick and shall be filled with suitable wooden block in all the three legs. The frame shall be covered with fibber glass from all sides. M.S. stay shall be provided at the bottom to steady the frame.

Item No. 70- Providing and fixing to existing door frames. 30 mm thick Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (F.R.P.) flush door shutter in different plain and wood finish made with fire retardant grade unsaturated polyester resin, moulded to 3 mm thick FRP laminate all around, with suitable wooden blocks inside at required places for fixing of fittings and polyurethane foam (PUF)/Polystyrene foam to be used as filler material throughout the hollow panel, casted monolithically with testing parameters of F.R.P. laminate conforming to table - 3 of IS: 14856, complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.

Item No. 69- Providing and fixing factory made single extruded WPC (Wood Polymer Composite) solid doors/ windows and other Frames/ Chowkhats comprising of virgin PVC polymer of K value 58-60 (Suspension Grade), calcium carbonate and natural fibers (wood powder/ rice husk/wheat husk) and non-toxic additives (maximum toxicity index of 12 for 100 gms) fabricated with miter joints after applying PVC solvent cement and screwed with full body threaded star headed SS screws having minimum frame density of 750 kg/cum, screw withdrawal strength of 2200 N (Face) & 1100 N (Edge), minimum compressive strength of 58 N/mm2, modulus of elasticity 900 N/mm2 and resistance to spread of flame of Class A category with property of being termite/borer proof, water/moisture proof and fire retardant and fixed in position with M.S hold fast/lugs/SS dash fasteners of required dia and length complete as per direction of Site- In-Charge. (M.S hold fast/ lugs or SS dash fasteners shall be paid for separately). Note: For WPC solid door/window frames, minus 5mm tolerance in dimensions i.e depth and width of profile shall be acceptable. Variation in profile dimensions on plus side shall be acceptable but no extra payment on this account shall be made. Frame size 45 x 85 mm.

Item No. 68- Providing and fixing factory made single extruded WPC (Wood Polymer Composite) solid decorative type flush door and window shutter of required size comprising of virgin polymer of K value 58-60 (Suspension Grade), calcium carbonate and natural fibers (wood powder/ rice husk/ wheat husk) and non-toxic additives (maximum toxicity index of 12 for 100 gms) having minimum density of 650 kg/cum and screw withdrawal strength of 1800 N (Face) & 900 N (Edge), minimum compressive strength 50 N/mm2, modulus of elasticity 850 N/mm2 and resistance to spread of flame of Class A category with property of being termite/ borer proof, water/ moisture proof and fire retardant. WPC to be laminated with PVC foil of minimum 14 microns thick of approved design pasted with hot melt adhesive on both faces of shutter and fixing with stainless steel butt hinges of required size with necessary full body threaded star headed counter sunk S.S screws, all as per direction of Site-In- Charge. (Note: Stainless steel butt hinges and necessary S.S screws shall be paid separately). 35 mm thick.

Item No. 67- Providing and fixing in position collapsible steel shutters with vertical channels 20x10x2 mm and braced with flat iron diagonals 20x5 mm size, with top and bottom rail of T-iron 40x40x6 mm, with 40 mm dia steel pulleys, complete with bolts, nuts, locking arrangement, stoppers, handles, including applying a priming coat of approved steel primer.
