Eligibility Criteria

Tenders from Joint ventures are not acceptable.

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

Bidders shall ensure upload of relevant document certifying his/her status as Scheduled Tribe as prescribed in the tender document.( Cast cerificate and Domicile certificates issued from competent authority of GOK)

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

Contractor with Karnataka PWD Class-4 & above registration can eligible for participation.

Tenderers should not be associated or have been associated in the past, directly or indirectly, with a firm or any of its affiliates which have been engaged by the Purchaser to provide consulting services for the preparation of the design, specifications, and other documents to be used for the procurement of the goods under this Invitation for Tenders.

The bidder is required to ensure browser compatibility of the computer well in advance to the last date and time for receipt of tenders. The departments shall not be responsible for non accessibility of Karnataka Public Procurement portal due to internet connectivity issues and technical glitches at bidders end.

The tenderer shall bear all costs associated with the preparation and submission of his tender, and the employer will in no case be responsible and liable for those costs. The cost of the Tender Processing shall not be refundable.

EMD should be paid as specified in the tender document available in Karnataka public procurement portal.

The EMD & Tender processing fee shall be paid through Karnataka public procurement portal only as per the e-procurement rules

The EMD and Security Deposit are liable to be forfeited as liquidated damages in the event of any evasion, refusal or delay on his/her part in signing the contract form. The other Terms and Conditions are as stipulated Standard Tender Document of Government of Karnataka

The Tenderers need to register with Karnataka public procurement portal and to obtain user ID and Password for participating in the Tender process

For any clarification refer the bid documents or contact University Engineer on all working days between 10.30 AM to 4.30 PM

Bidders should abide by other terms & conditions as prescribed in relevant KTPP rules, KTPP Act and standard tender document.

The Documents must be uploaded in Pdf and excel format only.

Bidder mandating Satisfactorily completion as prime contractor for at least one civil engineering work of value not less than Rs. 1.88 Lakhs (Updated to 2026-27 Price level).should be counter signed by the Employer in Charge not below the rank of Executive Engineer or Equivalent.

Tenderers who meet the above specified minimum qualifying criteria, will only be qualified, if their available tender capacity is more than the total tender value as mentioned in the Bid Doc.

Bidder has to qoute the rates excluding GST and The GST shall not be paid in the extended period of contract for which the Contractor alone is responsible for delay as determined by the authority while granting the extension of time. The Government and the Contractor are abide to any increase or decrease in GST during agreement period.

Contractor should adhere to HSE (Health Safety Environment) policy and Environmental policies applicable for the projects.

Contractors are responsible for ensuring Safety and also whole & Sole responsibility for any injury or risk factors of workers

Contractor should take all precautions to ensure that no damage is caused to the existing public/ private properties which have been constructed by other agencies during project execution. If any damage is caused, it has to be rectified at his own risk and cost.

Should submit the Attested copy of the Turnover certificates of last 5 Finacial years (2021-22 to 2025-26) issued by the Chartered Accountant

Royalty on construction materials and other taxes will be deducted as per prevailing Govt orders

As per Government order LD/300/LET/2006 Bangalore dated 1.01.2007 nad Government letter no PW/134/BMS/2007 dated 27.07.2007, a sum amounting to 1% of the bill amount will be deducted towards constructions labour welfare fund

All scanned documents to be uploaded shall be in original and the Executive Engineer reserves the right to verify the documents before approval and all the formats prescribed in the bid document shall be filled by the tenderer in complete manner otherwise tender will be rejected.

Materials required for the work shall be procured by the tenderer themselves and should got tested by the quality control authority before use on the work.
