REPAIRS TO ROLLING SHUTTERS, STEEL GATES AND ANTI TERMITE TREATMENT TO OTM, MD ACCN BLDGS AT PATANJALI, SANKRUBAGH, CORE AREA, NSRY, KADAMBA VANAM, LITTLE BINAGA, KAMAT BAY AND BAITHKOL AT NAVAL BASE KARWAR

M & L for providing and injecting emulsion for post construction antitermite treatment along the external wall below concrete or masonary apron using chemical emulsion at the rate of 2.25 litres per linear metre including drilling holes and plugging the holes with cement mortar & matching the existing surface etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M & L for providing and injecting emulsion for post construction antitermite treatment for soil under existing floors using chemical emulsion at the rate of one litre per hole, 300mm apart including drilling 12 mm dia holes and plugging the holes with cement mortar (1:2) etc to match with existing floors complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for providing and injecting emulsion for post construction antitermite treatment at points of contacts of wood with masonry / concrete surfaces using chemical emulsion mixed with oil or kerosine at the rate of 0.5 litres per hole including drilling 6mm dia holes at a downward angle of 45 degree at 150mm centre to centre and plugging the holes with cement mortar (1:2) etc to match with existing surface complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down rolling shutters of following sizes, replacing worn out/unserviceable parts with new ones, overhauling, applying grease, refixing in position and making functional complete all as directed :- Note : Replacement of parts will be measured and paid for seperately in respective items

(a) Area not exceeding 8 Sqm each

(b) Area exceeding 8 Sqm but not exceeding 12 Sqm each

(c ) Area exceeding 12 Sqm but not exceeding 20 Sqm each

(d) Area exceeding 20 Sqm but not exceeding 26 Sqm each

M&L for overhauling of rolling shutter of following sizes (without taking down from position but by opening hood cover), applying grease for trouble free operation, refixing the hood cover in position and making functional complete all as specified and directed:- Note : Replacement of parts will be measured and paid for seperately in respective items

(a) Area not exceeding 8 Sqm each

(b) Area exceeding 8 Sqm but not exceeding 12 Sqm each

(c ) Area exceeding 12 Sqm but not exceeding 20 Sqm each

(d) Area exceeding 20 Sqm but not exceeding 26 Sqm each

S&F in repairs mild steel worn wheel and gear wheel fitted to suspension shaft of the rolling shutter and connecting rod respectively all as specified and directed. Note:- Suspension shaft and connecting rod will be measured and paid for separately.

S&F in repairs Bevel gear box with crank handle fitted to connecting rod all as specified and directed. Note:- Connecting rod will be measured and paid for separately

S&F in repairs 25mm dia mild steel connecting rod fitted to gear wheel and bevel gear all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs, fabricated lock plate of riveted construction made of mild steel sheet 3.15mm thick and 100mm width, reinforced with mild steel angle of size 40mmx40mmx6mm at bottom and top shall be interlocked with bottom most lath section of curtain all as specifed and directed.

S&F in repairs lath section made from cold rolled steel strips 1.20 mm thick with inter-locking curls at both edges and a deep corrugation at the centre with a bridge depth of not less than 12 mm and each lath section shall be continous single piece with out any welding joint complete all as specified and directed.

Description same all as per item No 10 above but 0.9mm thick lath

S&F in repairs Mild steel clips riveted at either ends and fitted on ends of lath section all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs Mild steel flat iron 40mmx6mm as in stiffeners in hood cover and stopper to arrest lock plate including necessary welding etc all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs Mild steel guide channel of size 65mm depth, 25mm width and 3.15mm thick including fixing of cleats or supports (not exceeding 750mm c/c) for attachment to the wall or column by means of bolts or screws all as specified and directed.

All as per items No. 14 herein before but guide channel of size 75mm depth , 25mm width and 3.15mm thick

S&F in repairs Mild steel bracket plate of 3.15mm thick and area n.exc 0.15 sqm in any shape fixed to the wall with hold fast of mild steel angle 40mmx40mmx6mm of length minimum 200mm from edge of the bracket plate embedded with PCC 1:2:4 type B1 bed block of size 250mmx200mmx200mm and fitted with guide channel by means of 20mm square bar of suitable length all as specified and directed.

All as per items No 16 herein before but bracket plate of 6mm thick and area exceeding 0.15 sqm & not exceeding 0.25 sqm.

S&F in repairs Suspension shaft made out of mild steel pipe confirming to IS-1161-1968, medium class 40mm dia all as specified and directed.

All as per item No 18 here in before but 50mm dia.

S&F in repairs Mild steel cranked handle suitable for gear operated type rolling shutter all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs “0 0” gauge helical wire or flat spiral spring fixed with suspension shaft all as specified an directed.

S&F in repairs “0” gauge helical wire or flat spiral spring fixed with suspension shaft all as specified an directed.

S&F Mild steel sheet 1.00mm thick as in hood cover of any shape with flat iron stiffeners at both edges and fixed to the bracket plate all as specified and directed. Note : Stiffeners will be measured and paid for separately

S&F in repairs safety lever locks mild steel with 4 levers for rolling shutters all as specified and directed.

Taking down steel gate each leaf area exc 1.5 Sqm but n exc 4 Sqm with bed blocks, pintle hinges & hold fasts, rectifying the defects such as straightening, welding etc and refixing in position with provision of bed blocks, new/old pintle hinges and hold fasts as required and all as directed. NOTE : welding, bed blocks, pintel hinges and hold fasts will be measured and paid for seperately.

M&L for PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in bed blocks including necessary formwork for embedding holdfasts all as specified and directed.

S&F in repairs mild steel 0.63mm thick plain black sheet in steel gates, cut to size, punched, including round headed screws, clout nails or rivets and fixed to steel frame with plain 40mm lap joints with riveted or welded seams, including bending or turning up, mitred angles, etc. complete all as specified and directed

M & L for Welding in repairs n.exc 2.5 cm in length and thickness of metal to be welded exc 6mm but not exceeding 9mm all as specified and directed

M & L for preparation of new steel surfaces of any description, over 10 cm in width or girth, not otherwise described and applying two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified.

M & L for preparation of old treated steel surfaces of any description, over 10 cm in width or girth, not otherwise described and applying one coat of synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantaling structural steel work including doors, gates but excluding framed truss etc complete all as specified and directed

M&L mild steel structural framed work confirming to Fe410-W (Gde-E-250) quality-A as in door or gates of angle or other section with gusset plates, rails, braces etc, complete, drilled for fixing of steel sheeting or other covering, doors, etc. to be prepared for hanging or sliding with and including either hooks and hinges or steel hanging door fittings (exclusive of steel sheeting or other covering, running rails and guides) and hanging, also fastening and fixing complete all as specified and directed

Taking down motorised aluminum rolling shutter of opening area exceeding 20 sqm and not exceeding 30 Sqm including hood cover/housing, octagonal tube, end cap, side guide rail, motor and its connected accessories etc and overhauling, servicing, greasing complete including replacement with new aluminum laths etc and reassembling after rectification of defects, fixing back to its original position and making smooth functioning to the satisfaction to Engineer-in-charge complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Aluminum laths will be measured and paid for separately.

S&F in repairs lath section made from rolled aluminium strips 1.00 mm thick double walled inter-locking curls at both edges, 65 mm wide and a deep corrugation at the centre with a bridge depth of not less than 12 mm and each lath section shall be continous single piece without any welding joint complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling electric motor 0.50 HP, single phase 230 volt of any make, from the top of rolling shutter, opening the motor, cutting the existing burnt winding wire and rewinding the motar using super enamelled copper wire of suitable gauge to match with the existing winding including varnishing & drying and re-assembling the motor and refixing in original position, connecting with rolling shutter with proper alignment and testing complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for rendering 15 mm thick in cement mortar (1:4) on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces mixed with water proofing compound finished even and smooth without using extra cement. Note:- Supply only Water proofing compound shall be measured and paid for separately.

Supply only approved water proofing compound all as specified and directed.

Dismantling/taking out existing hessain base felt or any other existing water proofing treatment from roof including cement plaster and exposing the top surface of RCC slab including removing the dismantled debris to a distance exc 200m & n.exc 250m. complete all as speified and directed.

M & L for water proofing treatment by applying oil bound bitumen primer, having a density of 0.87 - 0.89 Kg/lit, at the rate of 0.40 ltr/Sqm, providing and laying APP modified water proofing membrane weighting not less than 3.50 Kg/Sqm of approved make including minimum 10 cm side lap and 15cm end lap, laid and pasted with blue flame torching applications and finally finishing with solar reflective bituminous aluminium paint at the rate of 0.1Kg/Sqm all as specified and directed.
