Eligibility Criteria

Tenders from Joint ventures are not acceptable.

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

The tenderer shall scan and upload all the original documents required for this bid to the KPPP portal. The uploaded documents should be clear (Visible), unclear documents will be rejected. The original documents shall be produced at the time of physical verification

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

Bidder shall pay Contract Management Module processing fees of 0.025% of the contact value (Min Rs.500/- & Max Rs.7500/-) soon after contract has been issued to bidder

Conditional tender will not be considered

The employer reserves the right to accept any tender and to reject any or all tenders without assigning any reason

The contractor has to compete the bid (quote the rates excluding GST) for all schedule B items of the works mentioned

The Contractor shall pay the Earnest Money Deposit EMD & Tender Transaction fee in the KPPP portal using any of the following payment modes. Credit Card, Direct Debit, National Electronic Fund Transfer, NEFT, and Over the Counter OTC.

One percent of the bill amount of the successful tenderer will be deducted towards cess as a labor welfare fund

The contractor has to make his own arrangement for procurement of all materials required for the work. There is no departmental supply of materials. Contractor should procure only ISI mark materials and submit necessary quality control certificates from the authorized quality control authority, before execution. Transportation charges from the site of work to Q.C. Lab of all the samples collected for testing should borne by the contractor himself

Certificate for having successfully completed works involving fixing and repairing the sluice gates

Omission and typographical errors which are in the opinion of the executive Engineer will not be a ground for claims of extra payment

All documents enclosed should be attested by Gazetted officer or Government Notary, otherwise the bids are liable for disqualification. Original documents should be produced for verification at any stage of the Tender process, as and when sought for. Failure to produce original documents will lead to disqualification. Work done certificates should have all the CR no, work order issuing date, work completion date and year. All documents to be furnished are to be counter signed by the employer in charge, not below the rank of an executive in-charge or equivalent.

Royalty charges will be deducted from the contractors as per prevailing Government order at the time of payment.

The tender is invited as per Standard tender Bid Document KW 4 and shall abide for the s contained in Standard tender Bid Document KW 4.

Price adjustment clause will not be applicable as per prevailing government order and only star rates for cement and steel are applicable as per prevailing GO No. PWD/159 CRM dt. 30.09.2010.

Executive engineer reserves the right to accept or reject any tender and to cancel the tender process and reject all tenders at any time prior to award of contract, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected tenderer or tenderers or any obligation to inform the affected tenderer or tenderers of the grounds for the employers action

IT, GST and other taxes will be deducted as per prevailing Government order

The contractor must upload existing commitment of the ongoing works in hand for the calculation of tender capacity. Action will be taken as per clause 26 of Section2. Instruction to tenderers (ITT) in case of incomplete/false documents regarding works in hand for calculation of tender capacity

The contractor should obtain the Material Dispatch Permit for stone, aggregates, sand and Murrum etc will be used in the construction work from the Mines and Geology department at the time of execution and same should be submitted along with the workbill, then for such workbills no Royalty will be deducted. If the contractor failed to submit the Material Dispatch Permit along with the work bill Five times Royalty will be deducted from the work bill as per KMMCR 2016 amendment rule 44(4) and the circular vide No. Ga. Bhu. E/ DCB/ DCB/ Takte/2019-20/4497 Dated. 12/12/2019 by Mines and Geology department.

Tenderers shall provide the requested information accurately as per the bid document.

Annual turnover certificate along with Balance sheet certificate/attested by Chartered accountants should be uploaded with 18-Digit system generated unique document identification number (UDIN).

Liquid assets and/or availability of credit facilities from banks for meeting the fund requirement should be submitted in the prescribed format as per the state government circular No. GO-FD-CAM/16/2022(P-2), Bangalore Dated.22-08-2022

The Defects Liability Period is 365 Days after the completion of work.

The rates of concrete items are inclusive for formwork, shuttering, scaffolding and centering works
