Amount

Repair, Maint including comprehensive preventive maintenance of DG set, including replacement of defective parts, filters, V-belt etc. Decanning of the used engine oil from DG set by opening of drain out plug / nuts, cleaning of engine oil sump complete and refilling of new approved grade of engine oil as per requirement. Complete inspection and cleaning of DG set and rectified the all defects, tightening the all nuts, bolts, moving parts etc. complete all as specified and directed of the following capacity.

Notes : (i) Spare parts, 'V' - Belt, Filters, Air cleaner, hose, Engine Oil etc shall be measured and paid separately.

(ii) Any Minor items like washer, gasket, nuts, bolts, 'O' Ring etc other than spare parts maintained in the respective Sch if required during maintenance of work, the shall be provided by the contractor and rate deemed to be included in the item rate for which no extra payment shall be paid.

(iii) Periodicity of maintenance of DG set shall be carried out as per manufacturers instruction and when required / directed by Engr-in-Charge. Measurement shall be carried out as per maint carried out by the Contractor.

(iv) Maint shall be carried out in the present of Engr-in-charge / Rep of Engr-in-charge.

(v) Maint shall be carried out through service centre of original Equipment manufacturers / Auth Service centre of DG set.

(vi) All tool and plants shall be provided by the contractor.

(vii) Contractor shall maintain proper documents of each DG set wise pertains to maint carried out and submitted to the Engr-in-charge as & when maint carried out.

Removing of radiator assembly from DG set, cleaning the radiator including Applying suitable chemical Agent for decanning the inner surface of the radiator, removing the all forigen items from radiator, welding the leakage portion of the body cleaning and made 100 % serviceable, complete internally and externally of the radiator by providing jet water pressure pump set including replacement of all gaskets, caps defective nuts, bolts & washers etc complete and re-fixing to the existing DG Set including necessary transportation to work shop and back of the DG Sets complete all as specified and directed of the following capacities:-

Dismantling of self starter from DG set by unscrewing nut & bolts, disconnecting battery lead, transporting the same to work shop for armature rewinding, taking out burnt out armature winding, cleaning the same and rewinding the same with equal gauge of insulated copper wires and insulating paper varnishing and drying etc including replacing of carbon brushes, carbon holder and lubricating oiling and greasing GM bushes /bearing carrying back the same and fixing it on its original position connecting battery leads and testing all as directed by Engr-in-charge of following capacity of DG set complete all as specified and directed:-.

Supply and fixing of GI tubing, light grade, 100 mm bore with all fitting lais in trenches / pole / wall for protection of cables in repairs complete. Make - TATA / ZINDAL / Bansal .

Excavating in trenches not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth for laying of cables & foundation of poles , stay assembly and getting out in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed .

Returning, filling in excavated approved soil, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25cm each complete.

Removing excavated soil not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete.
