Notes:

Breaking reinforced/plain concrete of all grade to the exact dimensions including cutting reinforcement rods and disposing the debris with a lead upto 500 mtrs etc complete.

Breaking brick work in cement mortar, including conveying and disposing the debris with a lead upto 50M etc. complete.

Dismantling aluminium/ Gypsum partitions, doors, windows, fixed glazing and false ceiling including disposal of unserviceable material and stacking of serviceable material with in 50 meters lead as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying brick masonry with well burnt table moulded bricks in cement mortar 1:6 including scaffolding curing, raking out joint, etc. complete as per specification below or above ground level at all lifts.

Cement plaster for exposed brick work/concrete surface as specified below in cement mortar 1:5 at all heights and locations including scaffolding, preparing the surfaces, finishing and rendering with sponge to correct line, level and plumb, curing including making plaster fluting (plaster in steps)etc wherever required complete as per specifications and drawings. The quoted rate shall be inclusive of supplying and mixing of approved integral water profing compound conforming to IS 2645 (As specified by the Engineer in charge) for the plastering work at the proportion specified by the manufacturer etc as per specifications.

a)20mm thk in two coats for brick/concrete surfaces(external)(back coat and finishing coat of 10mm thk each)

b)12mm thk in single coat for internal concrete/brick surfaces 1:4 CM with a neat coat of cement float coat as specified in the specification

c)6mm thk in single coat for ceiling of chajjas and sides and independent concrete surfaces in cm 1:3

Providing and painting two coats with best quality plastic emulsion paint of approved colour and shade manfuactured by Asian or equivalent make including preparing the surface with emergy paper applying putty wherever required etc complete as directed by Engineer in charge

Painting with best quality APEX weather proof Exterior Emulsion paint of M/s.Asian or any other approved equivalent manufacture and approved colour in two coats over a coat of suitable primer of Asian or equivalent approved primer on the new surfaces as mentioned below all as per manufacturers recommendations and as per the approved sample including cleaning the surfaces thoroughly using a wire brush and remove loose material from the surface and using the water jet to remove all loose coating and dust filling up cracks and crevices with approved putty and providing necessary scaffolding, curing the surface etc complete as per specifications and as per instructions of Engineer in charge at all levels and lifts.

Providing and fixing in position anodised (anodization thickness of 15 microns) aluminium extruded sections, sheets, beadings, clips, louvers etc as specified or equivalent weight in mat fininsh for aluminium windows, door and partition wall including all fixtures, fittings etc complete as per specifications.

Providing and fixing 12mm thick prelaminated three layer medium density (exterior grade) particle board gradeI type-II conforming to IS: 12823 bonded with phenol formal dehyde synthetic resin of approved brand and manufacturers in pannelling fixed in aluminium doors, partitions frame etc. , with aluminium beading, clips, Cp screws etc complete as per directions of EIC. (Prelaminated particle board with decorative lamination on both sides)

Supplying and fixing in position 5mm thick float plain sheet glass of HPG/Triveni/MODI or equivalent including glazing clips best quality putty neoprene gasket etc.,complete as per specifications and as directed by engineer in charge

Providing and laying PVC sheet flooring with 2mm thk homogeneous PVC sheet of not less than 2.00 Mtrs wide manufactured by approved manufacturer, over concrete floor/m.s.plate/chequered plates, skirting etc including cost of sheet, resine based best quality S.R. 505 manufacturedmy M/s Fevicol?Pedelight or equivalent adhesive, the cost includes labour charges for laying, rolling with light wooden roller weighing about 5 kgs etc complete as per manufacturers specifications.

Providing and welding of PVC sheet joints with suitable best quality PVC material colour matching to the PVC sheet manufactured by approved manufacturer, over concrete floor/m.s.plate/chequered plates, the cost includes labour charges for welding, rolling with light wooden roller weighing about 5 kgs .. etc complete as per manufacturers specifications.

Supplying, fabricating and fixing in position in concrete/brickwork etc of all the structural steel items like m.s.plates, m.s.angles, m.s.pipes, m.s.rounds, m.s.flats, m.s.square bars m.s.bolt/nuts with washers, etc at all lifts as per specifications and instructions of Engineer in charge complete with two coats of enamel painting over one coat of enamel primer etc complete.

Providing and fixing gypsum false ceiling using best quality of 12.5mm thk Gypsum of approved make including necessary M.S section frame work and GI 10mm dia suspended for supporting of grid work with all accessories such as screws, cleats,adjustable suspension rods, runners and tees, including making suitable openings for light fittings,troughs etc.,and painting false ceiling board with two coats of acrylic/plastic emulsion paints of approved make and shade over a coat of primer complete with all by works at all locations and heights and as per specifications and instruction of EIC.

i) Cement for structural works shall be OPC/blended cement of ISI marked and duly approved by the Engineer-in-charge, ii) OPC/blended cement of ISI marked shall only be used for finishing works on prior approval of Engineer-in-charge, iii) All RCC work shall be controlled concrete unless otherwise specified and shall be carried out strictly in accordance with the drawings and specifications, iv)The rates for RCC works shall be exclusive of cost of reinforcement and form work unless otherwise mentioned, v) All coarse aggregate to be of 20mm. maximum size & uniformly graded unless otherwise mentioned. vi) For all RCC items, the rates quoted shall include the following without any extra cost to the Department. a)Spacers to maintain clear cover for reinforcement. b)Fixing at correct level and in proper alignment the inserts, pipe sleeves, pipe bends, hooks, other pipe specials etc. supplied by / through the dept. c) Making cutout whereever required including cutting the form works etc. d)Test for Concrete shall be done as per IS 456-2000. and the cost of the same shall be borne by the contractor.

PCC 1:2:4 below/above plinth using stone aggregate of 20mm max. size including necessary formwork machine mixing, transporting, placing in position consolidation, finishing, curing etc complete as per specifications & instruction of EIC.

Reinforced cement concrete of all grade conforming to IS 456-2000, at all floors and levels using granitegraded stone aggregate of 20mm and down graded including machine mixing weigh batching, conveying, placing in position, mechanical consolidation, finishing, curing, scaffolding etc complete all as per drawing and specifications, but excluding the cost of form work and steel reinforcement (which shall be paid under relevant item). The minimum cement content shall be 350 kg/Cu M for all types of grades and structural elements.

a) For all type of Structural / RCC elements with all geometrical shape and sizes

Note 1 - The contractor shall obtain prior approval for RMC manufacturer from Engineer in Charge in writing.

Note 2 -The rate shall apply for all levels and locations including all type of structure etc.

Providing and laying rigid water tight centering shuttering using best quality plywood/steel sheets (joint shall be tightly butted to avoid leakage of slurry, if required rubberised lining of materials as approved by the Engineer in charge shall be provided in joints) including strutting, propping, bracing, bolting, welding and keeping the same to the line and levels. Provision for grooves, drips, throats, chamfers, inserts, conduits, junction boxes, recess, projecting dowels, staging etc complete for all insitu reinforced cement concrete works fixed in position, /horizontal/vertical/slanting surfaces as required including labour for careful removal of formwork, complete as per specifications and directions of Engineer in charge at all lifts below and above finished floor level including making provision for wherever necessary for brick dowel rods for every 600mm in columns at all lifts, brick dowel rods shall be measured separately under relevant item at all lifts and levels (Measurement for the formwork shall be area of forms in contact with concrete surfaces).

Reinforcement for RCC work including supplying, delivering, storing of various diameters as required at site of work including loading, unloading, transporting, decoiling, straightening, cutting, bending, placing in position at all locations & levels and binding with 18 gauge, soft drawn annealed steel binding wire including carrying out various tests as required etc. all as per specifications, drawings & as directed by the Engineer in charge.

a) HYSD -Thermo Mechanically Treated bars conforming to latest revision to IS 1786 manufactured by SAIL, TATA STEEL and RINL only.

Supplying and fixing the following diameter m.s.galvanised heavy quality tested M/s.TATA pipe and specials manufactured as per IS no.1239 & 1879 Part-I latest revision with ISI mark consisting of the following items of work.a) Fixing the pipe and specials for water supply line, over flow and vent with MS nails wooden gutties and U type GI clamps having not less than 2mm thk b) cutting and making hole or chases in the RCC or brick work structure such as wall, column, beam, slab, chajja dado etc for passing the pipe line and reinstating all the damage to its original condition.c) Testing the pipe line to a hydraulic pressure of 10kg/sq.cm for leak proof joints. d) Painting the pipe line after testing with two coats of approved flat oil paint over a coat of approved primer.

Providing gun metal heavy quality screw down peet valves/wheel valves/Gate valves manufactured to ISS 778-1979 and of Class I with ISI mark including fixing the valves to GI pipes with necessary jointing materials such as white zinc, spun yarn etc and testing the valves and joints to the hydraulic pressure of 10 kg/cm2 including rectification of leaks if any as directed by Engineer in charge.

Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cup lock type) on the exterior side, up to seven story height made with 40 mm dia M.S. tube 1.5 m centre to centre, horizontal & vertical tubes joining with cup & lock system with M.S. tubes, M.S. tube challies, M.S. clamps and M.S. staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it there after .The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with the building etc wherever required for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and approval of Engineerin- charge .The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose .The payment will be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding.

Fixing double scaffolding system (H-frame/cup lock type) on the exterior side, up to seven story height made with 40 mm dia M.S. tube 1.5 m centre to centre, horizontal & vertical tubes joining with M.S. tubes, M.S. tube challies, M.S. clamps and M.S. staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it there after .The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with the building etc wherever required for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and approval of Engineerin- charge .The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose .The payment will be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding. Supplying and fixing weld mesh of size 25mm x 25mm weld properly over the existing safety grill, The weld mesh shall be fixed as per direction of EIC.

Providing, hoisting and installing at required elevation moulded HDPE cylindrical vertical water storage tank of Sintex or its equivalent make of 1000 Ltrs. capacity with suitable SMC cover at top including the cost of labour for making hole in the storage tank for inlet, outlet, scour and overflow,float ball valve with ISI mark and with brass arm and PVC ball, CP brass overflow coupling with brass mosquito proof jalli of heavy quality,providing and fixing necessary GI nipples ranging from 15 to 50mm of average 150mm length with double checknuts, washers etc complete as directed by Engineer in charge.

Conveying & carrying out the surplus excavated earth/debris by mechanical means upto 1km lead over a initial lead, disposing and leveling at places shown etc to the required level and grade and as per the instructions of Engineer in charge.
