REPAIR/ REPLACEMENT AND IMPROVEMENT OF EARTHING INFRASTRUCTURE, REPAIR TO LIGHTNING CONDUCTOR, REPLACEMENT OF CONVENTIONAL EARTHING INTO CHEMICAL EARTHING, REPAIR TO EARTH PIT CHAMBER AND ALLIED WORKS UNDER AOR OF GE (MH AND RH) KHADKI

Supply, installation and commissioning of advance maintenance free system based earthing comprising of following accessories (a) Set of 01 Nos 3000 mm long, 17.0/17.2 mm dia earth electrode made of 99.99% copper circular rods with connect copper strip and electrode with the help of copper brazzing of incoming copper strips of size 25 x 3 mm of length as per site requirement upto Bus bar as decided by Engr - in-Charge and distance between each copper earth electrode is minimum 3 Meter . (b) Copper bus bar (Terminal) of size (100 x 50 x 5)mm act as test point connect with copper nuts and bolts with post insulator.(Nuts/bolts as required is included in the cost). (c) Poly propylene earth pit cover of size 300 x 300 mm (with safe working load 2000 Kg) - 01 Nos (d) Each pit filled with earth enhancement compound /chemical (Magnesium sulphate) only (min 75 Kgs/pit) all as specified.

(e) Required result of earthing less than 01 Ohm . If desired Ohmic value is not achieved then additional set of 1 No of 3000 mm long, 17.0 mm dia earth electrode made out of 99.9% copper rod with allied items, 01 x Pit cover, 01 x Sub bar as (d) above 75 Kg of chemical shall be provided by contractor without any extra cost to Govt. No price adjustment shall be made, if additional set is not required complete all as directed of Engr- in-charge (f) Necessary excavation work in any type of soil/strata, returning filling and removal of soil is included in the quoted rates. (g) Site inspection for complete Earthing work is mandotry for the Contractor befour quoting the tender.

Material and labour for earthing with copper earth plate electrode 600mm x 600mm x 3.15 mm thick, burried directly in ground vertically to a depth of not less than 2.25 mtr below ground level connected to copper strip 20x3mm thick, by means of copper brazzing made out of copper steel and 40 mm dia GI pipe "light grade" for protection of earth lead and connected to control board or transformer neutral earth or as directed including earthing pit of size 450x450x300mm (outer size) wall thickness 100mm made in PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 and pre-cast reinforced cover slab of size 450mm x 450mm x 80mm thick made with MS XPM Jalli, RCC (1:1.5:3), with one handle made out of 8 mm dia round bar, 20mm dia GI pipe 'light grade' for watering funnels, wire mesh and provided charcoal or coke of alternative layers of 15 cm including necessary earth work of size 300x900mm, depth 2.50mtr and testing complete all as specified and directed. Make :U protech or equivalant.

Material and labour for earthing with galvanised earth plate electrode 600 mm x 600 mm x 6 mm thick, burried directly in ground vertically to a depth of not less than 2.25 mtr below ground level connected to GI strip 32x6mm thick, by means of GI Welding made out of galvanised iron mild steel and 40 mm dia GI pipe "light grade" for protection of earth lead and connected to control board or transformer neutral earth or as directed including earthing pit of size 450x450x300mm (outer size) wall thickness 100mm made in PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 and pre-cast reinforced cover slab of size 450mm x 450mm x 80mm thick made with MS XPM Jalli, RCC (1:1.5:3), with one handle made out of 8 mm dia round bar, 20mm dia GI pipe 'light grade' for watering funnels, wire mesh and provided charcoal or coke of alternative layers of 15 cm including necessary earth work of size 300x900mm, depth 2.50mtr and testing complete all as specified and directed.

Taking down of unserviceable GI/Aluminium earthing strip any size/type from the height upto G+4 Storey Bldg complete all as directed.

S&F in replacement copper strip of size 20 mmx3mm thick for earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing/down conductor strip etc, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note: Copper strip shall be 99.99% copper to be provided

S&F GI strip of size 32mmx6mm thick for earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc as in repair complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

S&F Aluminium strip of size 25mmx3mm thick for earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed to wall on batten or recess or chases or roof for lightening arrestor or buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing/down strip from from bldgs etc, using porcelain clit/post insulators with screw/GI drill bit screw with clamp of required size at specified distance, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note : The cost of T & P and minor spares reqd for fixing the above conducor is included in the quoted rate.

S&F Earthing test point terminal block made up of gun metal or phosphorus bronze of size 75mmx75mmx25mm thick drilled and screwed including 3Nos, 8mm dia, 25mm long hexagonal head screws including MS box 2 mm thick of suitable size for protection of test point terminal, including dismantling of old unserviceable test point complete all as specified and directed.

S&F Air termination, single pointed Aluminium rod 12mm dia and 300mm long with complete acessories fixed on aluminuim strip for earth conductivity to ground as in repair complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in- charge.
