Eligibility Criteria

Tenders from Joint ventures are not acceptable.

Bidders shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt and fraudulent practices issued by Government of Karnataka

The bidder is required to ensure browser compatibility of the computer well in advance to the last date and time for receipt of tenders. The departments shall not be responsible for non- accessibility of KPPP portals due to internet connectivity issues and technical glitches at bidders end.

It shall be the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure credit of Tender Processing Fee and EMD into the respective receiving bank accounts of e-Procurement on or before the last date and time of bid submission.

EMD Payments through e-Payment mode shall be made as one single transaction and payments made in part are liable for rejection.

The original documents should be produced for verification at any stage of tender process as and when sought for, failing which, the bids are liable for disqualification.

Rates shall be quoted online in KPPP portal.

The tender shall be valid for 180 days from the date of opening.

The tender document is part and parcel of the agreement.

Conditional tenders are liable for rejection.

The bidder shall obtain Workmen compensatory insurance coverage for all the workers deployed for this work.

The bidder shall quote his rates exclusive of GST and inclusive of all other applicable taxes, levies, duties and Building Workers Welfare Cess at 1% etc.,

The bidder shall upload/submit online duly signed, copy of Form of Tender and Declaration by Bidder formats under Section 3 of bid document.

KPCL shall recover the Income Tax, building workers welfare cess, at the prevailing applicable rates.

Bidders should have an independent PF code. The bidder shall remit PF of labourers to Contractors permanent PF code number only and not to the KPCL PF sub code.

In case the dates notified above are declared as holiday, the immediate next working day will be reckoned.

If the Bidder makes any alterations in the conditions of the contract or puts any condition of his own, such tenders are liable for rejection.

Corrigendum/modification/corrections, if any, will be published in the web site only.

Any revision in GST rates during execution of work will be paid to the contractor by KPCL or recovered from the bills of the contractor.

Technical Criteria

Past Experience

To qualify for award of this contract, each tenderer in its name should have in the last five financial years satisfactorily completed, as prime contractor, at least one similar work such as Maintenance/Servicing/fabrication/reconditioning of Gates/Hoists pertaining to Dams/power house of single order value not less than Rs 5.83 lakhs. In proof of the above, a copy of work done certificate issued from the competent authority & the corresponding work order shall be furnished. (Note: The value of completed works shall be given a weightage of 10% per year to bring them to the price level of the financial year in which the tender is invited).

Financial Status

To qualify for award of this contract, each tenderer in its name should have in the last five financial years, achieved in at least two financial years, an average annual financial turnover of Rs. 11.65 Lakhs. As a proof, the bidder shall furnish Turnover certificate duly certified by the Chartered Accountant. (Note: Financial turnover of previous years shall be given a weight of 10% per year to bring them to the price level of the Financial Year in which the tenders are invited). (Note: The above documents shall be uploaded along with other documents, failing/not satisfying the above criteria the tenders are liable for rejection).
