SCHEDULE A BOQ

Treatment of the sunken floor slab comprises of the following specification and all as specified. Make :- Dr Fixit/ M/s Sika india Pvt Ltd/ STP Ltd/ M/s Fosroc Chemicals

(a) Demolition of cement concrete filling of any description in sunken portion in toilet and removing debris outside MD land.

(b) Cleaning the sunken/ lowered portion of RCC slab surfaces (including vertical total depth plus skirting height) of floors by wire brush, chisel out any mortar sticking to the surface and brooming completely. 40mm thick avg PCC 1:2:4 type B-0 using 12.5mm graded aggregate as in padding conc to achieve proper sploe including cutting holes in bricks or RCC wall for spout

(c) Rendering of uneven surfaces with 10mm thick CM 1:4 mixed with integral water proofing compound @ 3% by wt of cement consumed. Fill it with water and check dampness and seepage. Where dampness/ seepage is noticed, nozzles shall be fixed and grouting carried out. (Quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive for WPC )

(d) All junctions points of side wall where CI/ GI pipes are passing through shall be sealed with epoxy putty.

(e) After drying putty, wash the slab and sides of sunken portion with water and make it clear and clean.

(f) M&L for applying two coats of polymer modified cementious water proof coating as per manufactures instruction to bottom and vertical sides up to finished floor level+100mm height. The thickness of two layer shall be 1mm. When the second layer is still sticky, coarse sand spray shall be carried for the vertical and bottom surface of the sunken portion all as specified and directed

(g) Plaster the bottom and sides up to bottom of the skirting with minimum 20mm thick CM 1:4 mixed with integral water proofing compound 3% by wt of cement consumed as per manufacturers specification including rounding of corners and junctions sloping towards spout. (Quoted rate shall be deemed to be inclusive for WPC )

(h) PCC 1:5:10 type E2, complete all as specified

(j) PCC 1:2:4 type B0 40mm thick, complete all as specified

Note for item No 2 to 11 :- Test the water proofed area (ponding test) by filling water for at least 72 hours and tested for leakage, seepage and to the entire satisfaction of GE. Test shall be done in presence of reps of Engineer-in-Charge and record for each sunken slab shall be maintained. The treatment shall be carried out by authorised applicators of chemicals. Cost of testing is include in the rates quoted above.

Repair of leakage/seepage from the Nahani trap/ floor trap of kitchen/ bathroom/ washbasin of the upper Qtr, in any position at any height, complete including change of floor trap, PVC horinzontal pipe embeded in floor in bathroom or kitchen making good to the damage portion of flooring, laying and matching of tiles in the existing flooring, complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Repair of leakage/seepage from the wall/ door bend /door tee/ 'Y' junction/ 'T' Junction of soil pipe / waste pipe/ vent pipe of kitchen/ bathroom/WC of the upper Qtr or at the ground floor Qtr including change of any damage soil waste pipes or fittings of any shape, specification and size, making good to the damage portion of wall with brick work in cement mortar 1:6 or cement concrete 1:2:4 and plastering to wall in CM 1:4 and matching to existing wall complete to avoid the leakage/ seepage at the site of work as directed and specifie by the Engineer -in- charge

Note for item No 13 & 14 :- (a) Find out main cause of leakage and take necessary steps to resolve / rectify. (b) Replace existing tiles in case leakage through NT/FT. (c) The rate also include provision of new NT/FT. (d) The unit rate is also deemed to be included for reqd bonding chemicals to arrest the leakage/seepage as direct by the manufacturer specification. Make : M/s Sika Chemical, M/s Pidilite, M/s Dr Fixit

M&L Complete removal of existing damaged water proofing treatment and expose of top surface of RCC slab of any thickness, any type by stripping out old tar felt over roofs, parapets, chimney stacks etc laid horizontally or vertically including taking out layer of cement plaster etc and cleaning the surface with water and using wire brush including removing debris to out side the MoD land and providing following :-

(a) Rendering 10mm thick in CM 1:3 on concrete roof surfaces and finish the surface even and smooth without using extra cement including mixing water proofing compound @ 3% by weight of cement.

(b) Apply a coat of bituminous primer confirming to IS-3384@ 0.25 ltr/Sqm on newly plastered surface after curing as per IS-456 and dried.

(c) Providing 3 mm thick APP modified water proofing as approved by GE weighing not less than 3.5kg per sqm unrolled over the bituminous coated surface with 100mm over laps, the overlap shall be sealed by flame as per manufacture instructions complete.

(d) Applying a coat of aluminium paint at the rate of 110 gm per sqm as per manufacture instruuction over bituminous layer complete all as directed.

Note for Item 16 :- (i) Care shall be taken to avoid wrinkle and air gaps while sticking membrane to the bitumen applied surface.

(ii) Measurements shall be for the surface of roof and vertical, curved or battered faces of parapet walls, abutments, chimney stacks, breasts, drain mouths, gutters, flashings, etc., covered with the waterproofing treatment. Turn ups and turn downs at eaves, verges, abutments, flashings, aprons, gutters, hips ridges, valleys, etc., shall be measured alongwith waterproofing treatment

(iii) Rates include for end and side laps, forming of openings, tucking in, wedging and pointing edges, tucked in brickwork or concrete fillet, all cutting and waste, and work in any position and any shape

(iv) The work shall be carried out through authorized and qualified applicators of the manufacturers only as mentioned in PS. MOU to be submitted before commencement of work.

(v) Material shall be procured from the authorised manufacturer only.

(vi) A performance guarantee certificate and guarantee amount equal to 3% cost of WPT for 10 years shall be submitted by the contractor to the GE on completion of work as specified.

Demolition of Concrete of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for complete all as directed.

Note for item No 83 :- (a) All synthetic enamel paint, plastic emulsion paint shall be of 1st quality manufactured by the standard firms of make as specified.

(b) The contractor shall inform the GE, within three weeks of the acceptance of the tender, the brand/names of the manufacturers of paint proposed to be used in the works and submit samples thereof and obtain prior written approval of GE before their use in works.

(c) The contractor shall when so required by the GE, produce certificate from the manufacturer or their representative to establish that the brands of paints purchased by the contractor from them, satisfy the requirements of the relevant Indian Standards. Tint of paint, will be approved by the GE.

(d) Paints shall be obtained direct from approved manufacturer or from their authorized agents only of respective brands mentioned below and brought to site in sealed containers. The paint so procured shall be of first quality of any approved make as per list of makes specified. i. Berger Paints (Luxol), ii. Jenson & Nicholson (Brolac), iii. Shalimar Paints(Superlac), iv. Goodlass Nerolac (Nerolac), v. Asian Paints(Apcolite)

(e) Unless otherwise specified the tints of paint shall be as approved by the GE

(f) The contractor shall submit samples of the paints proposed for the work along with results of tests conducted in approved laboratory as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge for approval.

(g) The surface shall be thoroughly cleaned and dusted. All dirt scales oil and grease shall be thoroughly removed before painting is started. The prepared surface shall be inspected and approved by the GE before painting is commenced. The weather shall not be foggy/rainy, dusty or windy. The suitability of the weather will be determined by the Engineer-in-Charge.

(h) No hair marks from the brush or clogging of paint buddles shall be left on the work. Surface shall ordinarily not be painted until it has dried up completely. Trial patches of paint shall be laid at intervals to check if drying is satisfactory.

M&L taking down cement plaster on brick or stone walls, or concrete or ceilings etc., including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water, etc., including removal of rubbish off the premises, removal and depositing serviceable materials where directed and leaving the work clear of any plastering and material and labour for Rendering 15 mm thick in two layers on brick or stone or concrete surfaces,first coat 10mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 and 2nd coat 5mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 mixed with water proofing compound as per manufacturer instructions finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

Note for item No 97 & 98 :- The manufacturer's test certificate of Tiles must be submitted for approval by the concerned authority prior to installation.

M & L Granite work (of any type) 18 to 20mm thick (table rubbed and polished including round edge) in steps, jambs, pillars, windowcills, cooking platforms, wash basin platform and like in cement mortar (1:4) including pointing in white cement (1:2) using marble dust with admixture of pigment to match with granite shade over and including 15mm thick screed bed in cm 1:4 including demoliton of existing stone slab complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : (a) The manufacturer's test certificate and individual test certificate for tiles must be submitted for approval by the concerned authority prior to installation. Excavating in post holes (or similar holes) in any type of soil, each not exc 0.5 cum, getting out in hard dense soil, returning, filling in and ramming earth or broken rubble mixed with earth around, in layers not exceeding 25 cm complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L Pre painted Coloured Galvalume roofing system sheet 0.50 mm thick having Zinc aluminum alloy coating AZ150 shall be as per IS:277/ASTM 1379 150 gsm/ sqm double ribbed trapezoidal profile steel sheet any colour having tensile strength of 550 Mpa as in Roof covering /cladding to wall fixed with self tapping screws including dismantling of existing one all complete all as directed.

Note for pre-painted coloured Galvalume roofing :-

(i) The manufacturer's test certificate and individual test certificate for the chemical and mechanical properties of sheet must be submitted for approval by the concerned authority prior to installation.

(ii) The contractor shall ensure that no leakages take place from the roof. The roofing shall be Coloured Galvalume roofing system (olive green colour or as approved by GE) with feed material manufactured from 0.50 mm Total coated thickness (TCT), minimum 550 MPa yield strength and shall conform to the physical specifications of IS: 2062 of 2011, coated with hot dip metallic Aluminium / Zinc alloy coating AZ150 as 150 gm/sq.mt total on both sides complete all as specified and as directed.

(iii) The painting shall be coloured baked enamel polyester with silicon coating of film thickness 25 microns nominal on the exposed face/exterior side and on the reverse side ( interior face) shall be white with 15 microns film thickness, over a coat of 5 micron nominal thickness Primer.

(iv) The contractor shall produce purchase vouchers for each lot and independent test for verification of Engineer-in-Charge.

The paint so procured shall be of first quality of any approved make as per list of makes specified. i. Berger Paints (Luxol), ii. Jenson & Nicholson (Brolac), iii. Shalimar Paints(Superlac), iv. Goodlass Nerolac (Nerolac), v. Asian Paints(Apcolite)

(e) Unless otherwise specified the tints of paint shall be as approved by the GE

(f) The contractor shall submit samples of the paints proposed for the work along with results of tests conducted in approved laboratory as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge for approval.

(g) The surface shall be thoroughly cleaned and dusted. All dirt scales oil and grease shall be thoroughly removed before painting is started. The prepared surface shall be inspected and approved by the GE before painting is commenced. The weather shall not be foggy/rainy, dusty or windy. The suitability of the weather will be determined by the Engineer-in-Charge.

(h) No hair marks from the brush or clogging of paint buddles shall be left on the work. Surface shall ordinarily not be painted until it has dried up completely. Trial patches of paint shall be laid at intervals to check if drying is satisfactory.
