Scope also includes Checking tap off boxes of bus bar, DB dressing, earthing, RCBO testing and submitting report.

Cleaning of substations rooms,Elecrical panel rooms,busduct room,DG set rooms, transformer yards inside and outside, outer surface of all electrical panels/equipment in substation, DG room/yard premises,Electrical panel room,Shaft room in each floor of B1,B2,M1,M2 buildings transformer yard etc. of HBNI Hostel complex as per clause no.2 tender specifications and as instructed by the Engineer-in-charge. Approx. size of Substation, DG set room/Yard is ranging from 6M x 4M to 30M x 20M , Electrical panel room is ranging from 3M x 5.5M to 4.5M x 4M as per specification mention in item no.2

Cosmetic & Preventive maintenance of elctrical installations like Lighting Fixtures, Ceiling Fans, Exhaust Fans as per Clause No.2 of specifications of Maintenance contract .

Comprehensive maintenance, cleaning, servicing of both 3 phase gate motors with controller (cap. 2000kg), adjustment/alignment of gear, racks, pinions etc. repalcement of variation drive make TelcomaNow(CARDIN) and photocells (range 10 mtr.) if any, replacement of gear assembly foundation plate, tightening or replacing of nut-bolts etc. oiling, greasing of the installation, replacement of defective parts etc. Note: 1.) Breakdown calls shall be attended within 24 hrs. 2.) Servicing shall be done during first week of every month. 3.) Complaint/Maintenance record book should be maintained.

Preventive maintenance of Substation equipments as per tender specifications including taking shutdown with necessary work permit issued by shift in charge and giving line clearence certificate, submission of maintenance report, supply of all the required materials like panel locks, gaskets,void filling silicon paste,consumables,tools & testing equipement,ladders etc. required for maintenance and as instructed by E.I.C

Measurement of earth pit resistance with earth resistance tester and letter painting of measured value with date and name of earth pit on the cover including painting of earthpit chamber all as per the instruction of EIC.

Testing of protection relays

Testing and Recalibration of over current, earth fault, under voltage and other protective relays of English Electric make -type-CAG-14 numeric relay, static relays of M/s Ashida make/SC14S relays installed in HT panels/LT panels/DG sets by secondary injection method to ascertain the healthiness of the relays in confirmation with the designed characteristics as per I.S standard and electricity code of practice, including the recalibration in case any deference in timing & load characteristics beyond the permissible limit to the maximum extend possible and as instructed by E.I.C

Testing of protection microprocessor based relases of M/s.schnider make Micrologic NS 2.0/NW6.0 P & Schnider make ETS 2.3 electronic release of ACBs/MCCB with test kits of respective manufacturers at site and submit the test reports as instructed by EIC

Breakdown maintenance of following distribution substation equipments shall be attended immedialty but not later than 01day including testing of circuit breaker contact resistance,HV test and opening and closing time etc. as instructed by EIC

Transformer repair works

Arresting of minor oil leakages:Arresting of oil leakage by replacement of gaskets of transformer main tank cover, HT disconnection chamber, HT/LT terminal box covers, buccholz relay, valves, tap changers as required including replacement of faulty bushings if required with new HT/LT bushings of transformer capacities 1250kVA with necessary oil seals, gaskets, etc. replacement of oil seals of HT/LT bushings of transformers of capacities 1250kVA. Supply of material required for arresting oil leakage is included in the scope of work. No material will be supplied by dept. Note: i)Bushings required for attending will be separately paid. ii)The work done shall be guaranteed for a period of one year.

Replacement of gaskets of transfromer tank,radiator flanges,Bucholz relays,conservator,neutral bushing on tank,LV bushings,HV bushing with required thickness of good quality cock sheets, oil seals,rubber gaskets etc. including lowering of transformer oil into empty oil durms, refilling same after replacment of gaskets etc., replacement of faulty parts like glass indiactor on conservator,diaphragm of explosion vent,damaged check nuts of bushing if required,welding of flanges,joints of connecting MS pipes as required and as instructed by EIC i)Scope of work also includes providing torpolin sheet on whole area of transfomer yard. ii)Lifting of tranformer cover with hydralic lifter as required iii) Experienced technicians and service Engineer shall be deputed for the work. iv) The scope of the work also icludes supply of the materail required except bushing/radiators

Transformer oil related works

DGA test of transformer oil at any NABL accredited lab including sample collection from site and submission of test report all as per instruction of EIC.

Physical properties test of transformer oil at any NABL accredited lab including sample collection from site and submission of test report all as per instruction of EIC.

Online filtration of transformer oil of various size of transformers through streameline high vaccum filtering machine till the dielectric strength and other values in accordance with latest I.S specification are achieved, transportation of filtering machine from one place to another in Anushaktinagar, New Mandala colonies & OYC building,Colaba all as directed by the Engineer in-charge.

Supply of I.S specified fresh transformer oil with seal. The scope also include of transportation of oil from one place to another including topping of oil in transformer at Anushaktinagar & New Mandala colony all as instructed by the Engineer in-charge.

Cable fault finding :-Testing and pinpointing the location of L.T cable fault of various sizes irrespective length of cable laid in ground, tracing of cable route by thumping / acoustic, magnetic waves searching method or any other advance method whichever is suitable to locate all types of cable faults including open circuit faults and including disconnection of the cable terminations and re-connection of the as required and as instructed by Engineer in-charge. Removing & laying of existing paver blocks (60/ 80 mm thick) with care with out any causing any damages to adjacent footpath and paved area etc , stacking properly the serviceable materials and disposal of unserviceable materials all as per specification and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.
