SW1-Provision of roof top solar plants at Railway stations over
Supply, installation, testing and Commissioning of ON-GRID, Rooftop mounted Solar Photovoltaic Power Plants of 05 to 50 KWp capacity, NET metering type, to be installed at various buildings / covered platforms at different Railway stations (56 Nos) under Hubballi division. Conforming to MNRE specifications as amended and as per tender conditions. The plant consisting of Mono Crystalline silicon solar cells, NET metering facility, necessary protections, earthing, mounted on GI structure as per site requirements and suitable to withstand a wind velocity of 150 KMs per Hour. Carrying out maintenance for a period of 36 months after successful completion of the work consisting of the following components complete as required:- a) Solar Photovoltaic Modules shall be of capacity 330 Wp or above, manufactured in India, conforming to IS-14286/IEC-61215, IS/IEC- 61730-Part 1, IS/IEC-61730- Part-2. Solar Photovoltaic Module conversion efficiency shall not be less than 16.5%. PV modules used in solar power plants/systems must be warrantied for their output peak watt capacity which should not be less than 90% at the end of 10 years and 80% at the end of 25 years. b) Power Conditioning Unit (PCU) of 250-800 V DC Input voltage range and 400 V AC, three phase, 4 wire 50Hz (+/-) 2.5Hz, output voltage suitable to generate AC Power with efficiency not less than 97%, total harmonic distortion less than 3% and suitable for ambient temperature from 0 to 50 degree C. The PCU shall adjust the voltage and frequency level to suit the Grid Voltage Frequency and sequence. All outdoor panels must be protected with IP-65 ratings or above. c) Online Data Monitoring System complete with accessories. d) Fixing of Array junction box & Main junction box with IP 65 protection and termination arrangement for incoming and outgoing cable including necessary cable glands, lugs and other accessories etc. as required. e) Lightning and surge voltage protection. f) connections & Interconnections by supplying & fixing required size, single core XLPE insulated multi-stranded copper conductor 1.1 KV grade armored power and control cables for DC system and XLPE insulated armoured, 4 core aluminium conductor cables of suitable size between AC panel to domestic LT panel. PCU unit along with supplying & fixing of necessary channel/ conduit lugs and other accessories etc. Suitable ladders & skid-free walkway provision on sloppy roof for cleaning purpose wherever required for plants more than 10 KWp capacity complete all as specified in the tender documents and as directed at site. Note 1: LT XLPE UG cable from the domestic LT panel to grid supply connections / up to termination point will be supplied by Railways. Note 2: Locations / no of installations are tentative and will be finalized by Engineer in-charge based on feasibility , site 01 conditions and shadow analysis reports etc.
SW2-Provision of roof top solar plants at Railway Quarters over
Supply, installation, testing and Commissioning of ON-GRID, Rooftop mounted Solar Photovoltaic Power Plants of 01 to 50 KWp capacity, NET metering type, to be installed at various Residential accommodations / Railway quarters (632 Nos) at different stations under Hubballi division. Conforming to MNRE specifications as amended and as per tender conditions. The plant consisting of Mono Crystalline silicon solar cells, NET metering facility, necessary protections, earthing, mounted on GI structure as per site requirements and suitable to withstand a wind velocity of 150 KMs per Hour. Supply, installation, testing and Commissioning of ON-GRID, Rooftop mounted Solar Photovoltaic Power Plants of 01 to 02 KWp capacity, NET metering type, to be installed at various LC gates (217 Nos) at different stations under Hubballi division. Conforming to MNRE specifications as amended and as per tender conditions. The plant consisting of Mono Crystalline silicon solar cells, NET metering facility, necessary protections, earthing, mounted on GI structure as per site requirements and suitable to withstand a wind velocity of 150 KMs per Hour. Carrying out maintenance for a period of 36 months after successful completion of the work consisting of the following components complete as required:- a) Solar Photovoltaic Modules shall be of capacity 330 Wp or above, manufactured in India, conforming to IS-14286/IEC-61215, IS/IEC-61730-Part 1, IS/IEC- 61730- Part-2. Note 2: Locations / no of installations are tentative and will be finalized by Engineer in-charge based on feasibility , site conditions and shadow analysis reports etc. Note 3: At locations of LC gates where NET metering is not feasible due to existing SEB regulatory conditions or other technical / logistical reasons, hybrid inverters suitable to operate ON GRID / OFF GRID operations shall be provided as per the directions of Engr-in-charge. Cost of these provisions is deemed to be included in the quoted rates. However, back-up battery storage facilities are not included in the scope of this work.
SW4-Electrical arrangements to the solar works
Excavation in trenches in any kind of soil of required width for HT 11 KV & LT UG 01 cables, including excavation for joints and dressing of sides, ramming of bottoms, depth up to 1.5 m as directed, including getting out the excavated soil, and returning the soil as required, in layers not exceeding 20 cm in depth, including consolidating each deposited layer by ramming, watering, etc. and disposing off surplus excavated soil as directed, within a lead of 50 m from the starting point.
Supply and Laying of high density polyethylene pipe (HDPE pipe) of size 110 mm (OD) category of PE-80, PN-6 along with accessories (T joint / straight coupler etc.) of ISI approved as per specification
Transportaion, Laying, testing and commissioning of LTUG cable 4cx25 / 4cx16 / 4cx35 / 4cx50 sqmm as per specification.
Transportation, Laying, testing and commissioning of LTUG 4cx95/ 4C x 120 sqmm as per specification.
Transportation, Laying, testing and commissioning of LTUG 4cx 240 / 4C x 400 sqmm as per specification.
Supply, fixing and commissioning of HT Metering Panel 3 CT & 3 PT, for 3 phase 4 wire 06 metering with transparent cover TTB with 30 x 8 mm Cu Busbars (HT metering Box fabricated out of 3 mm MS sheet duly epoxy powder coated) with load break switch (3 phase 4 wire DLMS compatible) CT 11 KV ratio 10/1 A 0.2 s class accuracy 2.5 VA burden with complete foundation and as per HESCOM specification.
Supply and making water / moisture proof end termination with brass double compression gland and aluminium lugs for 4 x 400 sqmm size of PVC insulated and PVC sheathed / XLPE aluminium conductor cable of 1.1 KV grade all as specified and directed.
Supply and making water / moisture proof end termination with brass double compression gland and aluminium lugs for 4 x 240 sqmm size of PVC insulated and PVC sheathed / XLPE aluminium conductor cable of 1.1 KV grade all as specified and directed.
Supply and making water / moisture proof end termination with brass double compression gland and aluminium lugs for 4 x 120 sqmm size of PVC insulated and PVC sheathed / XLPE aluminium conductor cable of 1.1 KV grade all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for trenchless cutting to lay the LTUG/HTUG cable (LT 11 KV and 12 33KV ) for crossing the track/road duly drawing 160 mm (OD) size PE80,PN.6 HDPE pipe ISI approved as per instruction of Engr. In-charge (Scope includes cost for horizontal drilling, cost of pipe and laying of pipe etc. but coast for laying of cable is not included). Note:- The minimum depth from the surface of ground and the top of LT cable shall not be less than 1.5 meters.
Cutting of cement concrete (PCC) surface, any type for laying of UG cables in trenches and disposing off the excavated material as directed including barricading, danger lighting and refilling the trenches in layers and consolidating complete all as specified and directed.
SW5-CAMC of ON-GRID Roof top Solar Plants.
Comprehensive Annual Maintenance Contract (CAMC) for On-Grid roof top Solar power plants with NET metering system having varying capacity installed at Railway stations, staff quarters, 01 and LC gates over Hubballi division under the schedules SW-I, SW-II & SW-III above. CAMC will commence after completion of 36 months Maintenance period i.e. with effect from the 4th year of commissioning of solar Plants all as per detailed tender specifications. CAMC for the 1st year (Up to first 12 months).
Comprehensive Annual Maintenance Contract (CAMC) for On-Grid roof top Solar power plants with NET metering system having varying capacity installed at Railway stations, staff quarters, 02 and LC gates over Hubballi division under the schedules SW-I, SW-II & SW-III above. CAMC will commence after completion of 36 months Maintenance period i.e. with effect from the 4th year of commissioning of solar Plants all as per detailed tender specifications. CAMC for the 2nd year (From 13 months to 24 months).
Comprehensive Annual Maintenance Contract (CAMC) for On-Grid roof top Solar power plants with NET metering system having varying capacity installed at Railway stations, staff quarters, 03 and LC gates over Hubballi division under the schedules SW-I, SW-II & SW-III above. CAMC will commence after completion of 36 months Maintenance period i.e. with effect from the 4th year of commissioning of solar Plants all as per detailed tender specifications. CAMC for the 3rd year (From 25 Months to 36 months).
Comprehensive Annual Maintenance Contract (CAMC) for On-Grid roof top Solar power plants with NET metering system having varying capacity installed at Railway stations, staff quarters, 04 and LC gates over Hubballi division under the schedules SW-I, SW-II & SW-III above. CAMC will commence after completion of 36 months Maintenance period i.e. with effect from the 4th year of commissioning of solar Plants all as per detailed tender specifications. CAMC for the 4th year (From 37 Months to 48 months).
Comprehensive Annual Maintenance Contract (CAMC) for On-Grid roof top Solar power plants with NET metering system having varying capacity installed at Railway stations, staff quarters, and LC gates over Hubballi division under the schedules SW-I, SW-II & SW-III above. CAMC will commence after completion of 36 months Maintenance period i.e. with effect from the 4th year of commissioning of solar Plants all as per detailed tender specifications. CAMC for the 5th year (From 49 Months to 60 months).
