NIT-56/2025-26/Miscellaneous works on the synthetic athletic track at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur

Repairing of Damaged Portion of Synthetic Athletic Track Specification: Repairing of damaged areas of the existing synthetic athletic track including: • Marking and cutting of the damaged portion to the required shape and depth. • Removal and disposal of loose or damaged synthetic material. • Surface preparation of the base including cleaning, levelling, and priming with approved material. • Re-laying with new synthetic materials of approved make and specification (PUR type / Cast-in-situ system) matching the existing surface in colour, texture, and thickness. • Seam jointing and finishing to ensure uniform appearance and performance. • The work shall be executed in accordance with the manufacturer’s technical guidelines and as per the directions of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and Installation of Discus Throw Cage Specification: Supply, installation, and commissioning of a Discus Throwing Cage conforming to World Athletics (WA) specifications, complete with the following components: • Fabrication and fixing of heavy-duty galvanized steel poles (uprights) of required height and diameter, designed to withstand wind load and impact. • Ground sockets made of galvanized steel, embedded in reinforced concrete foundations as per approved design, for removable uprights. • Protective net of UV-stabilized nylon or polypropylene, of suitable mesh size and thickness, securely attached to the poles with appropriate fixing hardware. • Provision of hinged or pivoted gate sections for athlete entry/exit and safety. • All components shall be powder-coated or hot-dip galvanized to ensure corrosion resistance and durability. • The entire assembly shall be installed true to line and level, as per manufacturer’s specifications and to the complete satisfaction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Cleaning of the entire synthetic athletic track surface using high-pressure air blower and soft brushes, including removal of dust, leaves, debris, and other foreign materials from all track lanes, event areas, and surrounding edges. Care shall be taken to avoid any damage to the synthetic surface during cleaning. The cleaned surface shall be left free of dirt and moisture, suitable for use in training or competition. All work shall be carried out as per the manufacturer’s maintenance guidelines and under the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.

Application of Fresh Line Marking on 400M – 8 Lane Synthetic Athletic Track Specification: Application of fresh lane and event line markings on a 400-metre, 8-lane synthetic athletic track as per the latest World Athletics (WA) approved drawings and dimensional standards. The work shall include: • Accurate layout and measurement of all track and field event markings (lanes, start/finish lines, relay zones, hurdle marks, etc.) using precision surveying instruments. • Surface cleaning and preparation prior to painting. • Application of high-quality polyurethane (P.U.) based paint in approved colours (white, blue, yellow, etc.) suitable for synthetic surfaces, ensuring uniform thickness, opacity, and sharp edges. • All materials shall be UV-resistant, non-slippery, and compatible with the existing surface. • The work shall be completed in accordance with World Athletics technical requirements and as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
