Installation of street light poles at SB haulage road at NALCO Mines, Damanjodi

Issue of complete pole materials from NALCO store & shifting to site with contractor's own arrangements and erection up to 9 mtrs GI octagonal pole including excavation of soil, making of PCC and RCC foundation upto 1.0 CuM with M20 grade concrete with arranging of shuttering material etc as per direction of Engineer in-charge. The job includes excavation of earth, PCC, rod binding, shuttering, RCC, curing works. If required the job also need minor modification of poles like cutting of arms, extension of arms and provision of anti climbing device. The party will also supply & fixing of 50 mm width 3M make red retro reflective sticker around the poles at a height of 2 meter above ground. Only cement, water, steel rods, poles & foundation bolts shall be supplied by NALCO free of cost rest all items like sand, chips, transportation of curing water etc to be provided by contractor.

Issue from NALCO store, shifting to site & installation of 150 watt LED street light fitting on pole top of upto 9 mtr height (including assembling of all light fitting items) with supply & laying of 2.5 sq mm 3 core copper flexible cable for both lamps(Havells/ Finolex/ Anchor make) from JB to light ixture. Light fixtures shall be supplied by NALCO as free issue material. Contractor has to arrange tools and machineries with all other items required for fixing of the same. Minor cutting and welding is also included in the scope of the contractor.

Transportation of cable from Mines Central Store to South Block and laying of one number of 1.1 kV grade, 3.5 core, PVC insulated and PVC sheathed/ XLPE power cable of following sizes direct in ground including excavation in hard rock or all kind of soil with trench size 300 mm wide and 800 mm deep, sand cushioning of 100 mm height, protecting cover with burnt clay/fly ash bricks on the top and refilling of trench with excavated soil. Cable shall be supplied by NALCO as free issue material. Shifting of cable from Mines Central Store to Mines work site is under the scope of the vendor. Brick shall be supplied by NALCO free of cost at Refinery unit and the transportation of brick and supply of sand is under the scope of contractor upto size of 35 sq. mm

Glanding & termination of cable of size 3.5core 35 sq mm at each lighting pole JB with suitable size of gland & lugs as directed by the EIC. Supply of gland & lugs are in the scope of the contractor

Supply of all items and making of earth pits including earth excavation in hard soil of size 10 ft. X 2 ft. X 2 ft.or 6"dia x10 feet depth, resurfacing with black cotton soil, supply and preparation of chemical compound, positioning of high conductive rust free copper bonded earth electrode, lamping of electrode with copper clamp, supply and laying of 25x4 mm GI strip for connection between earth pit and equipment up to 10 mtr length, complete with brick chamber and RCC cover. Cement shall be supplied by NALCO free of cost but bricks, all chemical earthing system materials like ground enhancing material ( minimum 50 kg per earth pit),copper bonded earth electrode(3 mtr long and min 17.2 mm dia), steel rods and other materials required for chamber and RCC cover is included in the scope of the contractor along with marking and numbering of pits. Earthing materials of make: ERICO / OBO only. Supply and Laying of 6 SWG hot dip G.I wire for running earth connection inside excavated trench/direct on surface along the power cable including end connection as required and as per direction of E-I-C
