Ladder/Stairs • Ladder made of MS pipe-FRP Coated (32 mm dia, 3 mm thick) with non-slip rungs of MS flats (25 mm × 5 mm). • Angle of inclination of ladder approx. 60° for safe climbing. v. Finishing • All MS parts to be treated with anti-rust epoxy primer and FRP coating. • FRP surface to be glossy, UV-resistant and smooth finished. vi. Load Bearing Capacity • Slide should be able to withstand a minimum load of 150 kg at any point without deformation. vii. Standards and Workmanship • The equipment must conform to IS: 9873 (Part I–III) / IS: 6661 / IS: 875 (as applicable) and international playground safety standards. • Workmanship should ensure durability, stability, and child safety.
Climber :- i. Material FRP coated • Main frame: Mild Steel (MS) pipes of minimum 40 NB / 48 mm outer diameter, thickness 3 mm, conforming to ISI standards. • Climbing elements: High-strength steel pipes, Fasteners: M.S bolts, nuts, and washers with anti-rust coating. ii. Surface Finish • All MS components to be FRP coated with weather-resistant, non-toxic paint. • Welded joints properly ground and treated with anti-corrosive primer before painting or coating. iii. Dimensions (example for arch/net climber, modify as required) • Height: 2.0 – 2.5 meters. • Width: 1.5-2.0 mtr • Safe spacing between climbing bars: 250-350 mm. iv. Safety Features • All edges and corners to be rounded (no sharp edges). • Fall height should comply with IS 9873 (Part 9): Safety Requirements for Playground Equipment. • Rope joints/knots with galvanized clamps and protective sleeves. • Anchoring to be done with RCC foundation blocks (1.5 ft x 1.5 ft x 1.5 ft) using grouted bolts. v. Load Bearing Capacity • Minimum 100 kg per user, tested for at least 250 kg total load. vi. Standards Compliance • IS 9873 (Safety of Toys and Play Equipment). • EN 1176 (International Playground Equipment Safety Standard) where applicable. vii. Installation • Installation as per manufacturer’s guidelines. • RCC foundation cured for minimum 7 days before usage. viii. Maintenance • Annual inspection for structural stability. • Repainting and tightening of nuts/bolts every 12 months.
Six-Seater MGR i.
