Surface excavation in any type of soil not exceeding 30 cm deep and averaging 15 cm deep and getting out in soft/ loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

Rolling & consolidating formation surfaces in cutting with power roller 8 to 12 tonne including filling in hollows & depression which occur during the process of rolling complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 150 mm spread thickness granular sub base using broken graded stone aggregate 40mm to 63mm size interstices filled laid in two layers of 75mm thickness each layer spread, rolled and consolidated to required gradient and camber as required complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 150mm thick (Compacted thickness) Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) laid in two layers (Laid in two layers of 75mm each, compacted separately), spread, rolled and consolidated to gradient and camber required including necessary lateral support and form work if required using crushed stone coarse aggregate of maximum size 40mm of grading as specified type igneous rock such as granite/basalt/trap etc. complete all as specified and directed. Note : 1. The rate quoted shall be for 150 mm compacted thickness. 2. Each layer shall be rolled separately.

M&L for applying evenly a priming / tack coat with paving bituminous primer VG-10 grade @10 kg per 10 Sqm over Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for premix bituminous macadam (BM) with 4.5% paving binder content VG-30 Grade by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with consolidated thickness 50MM with a uniform smooth surface with 8 to 10 tonne power roller & vibrator complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for applying evenly a priming / tack coat with paving bituminous primer VG-10 grade @ 5 Kg per Ten Sqm on bituminous macadam (BM) surfaces and applying 40mm thick (consolidated thickness) bituminous premixed asphaltic semi dense concrete with 5.5% paving binder content VG-30 Grade by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient to a uniform smooth surface with 8 to 10 tonne power roller complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for preparing existing top surfaces and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming / tack coat with paving bituminous primer VG-30 grade @ 5 Kg per Ten Sqm on existing surfaces and applying 40mm thick (consolidated thickness) bituminous premixed asphaltic semi dense concrete with 5.5% paving binder content VG-30 Grade by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient to a uniform smooth surface with 8 to 10 tonne power roller complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for preparing existing black top surfaces by sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. and applying evenly a priming / tack coat with paving bituminous primer VG-30 grade @ 5 Kg per Ten Sqm on existing surfaces and applying 30mm thick (consolidated thickness) bituminous premixed asphaltic semi dense concrete with 5.5% paving binder content VG-30 Grade by weight of total mix, rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient to a uniform smooth surface with 8 to 10 tonne power roller complete all as specified and directed. Notes for Sl Item No 1.06, 1.07, 1.08 & 1.09 : (i) Premixing shall be done by using Hot Mix plant and laying shall be done by using mechanical paver complete all as specified and directed (ii) The work shall be executed as per the design mix approved by GE. (iii) The binder content specified above is assumed. The actual quantity of bitumen content shall be as per approved design mix. If the actual quantity of bitumen to be used is found to be less than the quantity specified/assumed above, necessary minus price adjustment in the cost of less bitumen used shall be made at Rs.50/- (Rupees Fifty only) per Kg. If the actual quantity of bitumen to be used is found to be more than the quantity specified/assumed above, the same shall be provided without any extra cost to the Govt.

S&F precast cement concrete factory made kerb stones of size 300 x 250 x 100 mm (Sketch enlcosed) laid and set in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and as directed. Note : (i) Grade of Concrete Mix shall not be less than M25 (ii) Kerb stones shall be tested in NABL approved laboratory for grade of concrete and test certificate shall be produced by the contractor before incorporation in the work

M&L for Preparing the new bituminous surfaces by removing or cleaning of all dirt, scales, oil grease and foreign materials etc complete as per the direction of Engineer-in-Charge and providing 2.5mm (minimum) thick hot thermoplastic paint (Retro reflective type) for marking lines, dashes, arrows, letters, etc. on roads in white/yellow shade by fully automatic thermoplastic paint applicator machine, fitted with profile shoe, gun, beads dispenser, propane tank, heaters and profile shoe, heater driven by skilled operator on road surfaces complete all as specified and directed by Garrison Engineer. Note:- (i) Road marking work shall be carried out in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions and as specified in particular specifications (ii) Refer MORTH specification of Para 803.4.2.1 and 800.4.2.2 on bituminous surface/surfaces in white colour or yellow colour and super imposed with glass beads confirming to BS 6088 and MORTH specification Para 803.4.3.3

M&L for moorum filling in road side berms, laid in layers not exceeding 10 cm thick in depression, spread, levelled and rammed with hand roller 2 to 5 tonne including watering complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in- charge. Note :- Compacted finished thickness shall only be measured and paid.

S&F reflective road studs made out of tough polycarbonate and its reflective lense shall be made with polycarbonate micro prismatic reflective panel camber, red or white colour, two way reflective, electronically welded to the body of stud and overall size 100 mm x 100mm x 20mm, the lower surface of studs will be supported with two numbers nylon shanks each of length not less than 20mm and load bearing capacity not less than 20 tonne each and fixed with epoxy adhesive in road complete all as per manufactures instructions.Make : Dark eye Cat part No. DA52 (or) techno commercially equivalent model as specified in Appendix 'A' (List of makes) to Particular Specifications.

S&F solar road stud LED based made of aluminium alloy shell minimum size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm (shank 60mm) with anti-twist and rib, 100% water proof according to IP 65 (CPRI tested) high efficiency mono-crystalline solar panel 2.4 V/0.3 watt, one Ni-Mh or Ni-cd rechargeable battery (1.2V 1600MA), six super bright LEDs with 10000 to 18000mcd (Millicandela) maintenance free. Surface dressing not exceeding 15cm deep in soft/loose soil complete all specified and directed.

M&L for hard core of broken stone of gauge exceeding 63mm but not exceeding 100 mm deposited ,spread and levelled in layers not exceeding15 cm thick watered and rolled/rammed to true surfaces soil complete all specified and directed. Note : Consolidated thickness shall only be measured and paid.

M&L for plain cement concrete 1:4:8 Type D-2 (Using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) in foundations, filling and mass concrete complete all specified and directed.

M&L sand filling under floors or in foundation including watering and consolidation of each layer 50mm thick complete all specified and directed

M&L for 60 mm thick machine pressed precast concrete interlocking glazed paver blocks with grey cement and pigment any shape and size confirming to IS 15658-2006, M-35 grade concrete complete all as specified and directed. Note : Paver blocks shall be tested in NABL approved laboratory for grade of concrete and test certificate shall be produced by the contractor before incorporation in the work

M&L for providing PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 (Using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) as in benching, coping, kerb and like including necessary formwork and weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered as required complete all as specified and directed.

Excavating in trenches not exceeding 1.5m wide and not exceeding 1.5m in depth for foundation etc or manholes etc not exceeding 10 Sqm on plan and not exceeding 1.5m in depth and getting out in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:2:4, type B1 (Using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundation filling and mass concrete complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for Brick work with sub class `B` bricks using old size bricks straight or curved on plan exceeding 6m mean radius built in cm 1:4 complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying 600mm bore reinforced cement concrete pipes, class NP-3, laid and jointed complete with collars complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for 15mm thick rendering on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces in CM 1:4 finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed.

M&L preparation of newly plastered surfaces of walls and applying two coats of cement based paint over a coat of primer complete all as specified and directed.

M&L returning, filling in including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25mm in soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated material to a distance exceeding 250M but not exceeding 500m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 m above the starting point, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for hard core (broken stone or boulders) of gauge not exceeding 63mm, deposited, spread and levelled in layers not exceeding 10cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:3:6 type C2 (Using 20 mm graded stone aggregate) as in benching, coping, kerb and like including necessary formwork and weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered as required complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 (Using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in surface channels and drains complete all as specified and directed.

Extra for forming fair finished drain or channel 30cm inner girth in cement concrete using extra cement including forms, moulds, mitred/stopped end etc complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and laying 300mm bore reinforced cement concrete pipes, class NP-3, laid and jointed complete with collars complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for concrete bed to drain pipes of 300 mm bore in cement concrete 1:3:6 type C-2 (Using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out cable any type, any capacity/size from trenches, poles, roads, ducts etc including joints complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling and taking down steel tubular pole of any size for repair / disposal complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling and taking down street light fitting of any capacity /make for repair/ reuse complete all as specified and directed.

Dismantling and taking down street light junction box of any type and connected cables of any type for repair/ reuse complete all as directed.

Fixing/erection only 9.0 m long steel tubular swaged poles complete with cast iron base plate, finial taper plug, bolts, nuts & screws complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Earth work excavation and PCC will be measured & paid separately under relevant items of BoQ.

M&L for painting of erected LT steel tubular poles of type, 9 M long complete including all mild steel work mounted on pole, earth protection & water pipe (if exists) with one coat of aluminium paint and providing 07 Nos bands / straps with synthetic enamel paint ( Black & yellow 30 cm wide each) from top of plinth block and numbering of poles with white synthetic enamel paint on black back ground complete all as specified.

Fixing only street light fitting of any capacity / make and mounting on 40/50 mm dia GI bend pipe of bracket with 02 Nos MS clamps made with 40 x 3 mm flat iron including nuts, bolts & washer etc and painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of zinc chrome primer with necessary clamps complete all as specified and directed.

Laying only in trenches, connecting and testing LT UG cable of 1100 volts grade obtained from Sl Item No. 1.35 above complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) Earth work excavation will be measured & paid separately under relevant item of BoQ. (ii) Old serviceable retrieved cable will be meggared for insulation resistance before laying. .

Supply, laying in trenches, connecting and testing LT UG cable, XLPE insulated, armoured heavy duty electric cable with aluminium conductor, 1100 volts grade, cross-sectional area 25 Sqmm x 4 core complete all as specified and directed. Note:- Earth work excavation will be measured & paid separately under relevant item of BoQ

Excavation in trenches width not exceeding 1.5 m and depth exceeding 1.5 m but not exceeding 3.0 m for pole foundation etc and getting out in any type of soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 above the starting point complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and laying river sand coarse dry as in cushioning of underground electric cables in trenches, laid to a uniform thickness of 23 cm (15 cm under the cable & 8 cm over the cable) and gently punned down to 18 cm thickness all complete as specified and directed. Note: Punned thickness shall only be measured and paid.

Supply and laying bricks (old size) for cable protection by using common burnt clay building bricks, sub-class ‘B’ designation 75 laid dry flat across length of the cable with width of the trenches equal to length of bricks complete as specified and directed.

S&F 35/36W LED street light fitting with luminare made up of pressure die cast aluminium housing with toughened glass / polycarbonate and individual LED lenses complete and IP-65 making connection with suitable size of cable and suitable for mounted 40mm dia GI pipe complete all specified and directed. S&F GI bracket made out of 40 mm bore GI pipe medium grade, ISI marked 1.20m long bent to shape suitable for fixing of street light fitting including with 2 Nos MS clamps made with 40x3mm flat iron, bolts, nuts, washers etc including two coats of synthetic enamel paint over one coat of zinc chrome primer and fixing on electric pole complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for providing GI tubing 50 mm dia light grade with all necessary fittings laid in trenches under road/floor/hard standing etc for cable protection complete all as specified and directed.

Supplying and erecting steel tubular swaged poles complete with MS base plate, finial taper plug, bolts, nuts & screws as per IS-2713 Part -II 1980, type 410 SP-31(9.0 metres long) including painting with one coat of red oxide primer and two coats of aluminium paint on exposed surfaces & one coat of red oxide primer and two coats of bituminous paint for embedded portion complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.
