Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion (S.S grade-I) on prepared surface of granular Base including clearing of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.60 Kg/Sqm using mechanical means as per MoRT&H specification for road & bridge (5th Revision) of 2013 as per drawing and design directed by the Engineer complete in all respects as per clause No.502. (N.S.)

Providing and laying tack coat with bitumen VG-10 grade pressure distributor at the rate of 0.30 kg. persqm. On the prepared bitumen/granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom including cost of bitumen as per clause No.503 (5th edition) 2013 as per MoRT&H specification (N.S.)

Providing & Laying 60 mm thick compacted Dense Graded Bituminous Macadam (DBM) in one layer with 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant and with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with appropriate rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per clause No. 505 MoRT&H specification for road and bridge works (5th edition) 2013 using minimum 4.50% to bitumen grade VG-30 as binder content by weight of total mix, complete in all respect including cost of bitumen instruction issued from time to time by MoRT&H regarding machinery & bitumen will be followed strictly. The use of self propelled mechanical paver fitted with electronic sensor device conforming to MoRT&H specification (5th edition) 2013 in mandatory. If bitumen required more than 4.50% as per job mix formula no extra payment will be made, extra bitumen required will be considered as incidental to work.(NS) Note:- Before carrying out bituminous work, coating & Stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is to be performed in accordance with IS-6241. If coating and stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is less than 95%, anti-stripping agent will be used by contractor. The anti-stripping agent should conform to the requirement as stipulated in IS 14982:2017. The cost so incurred will be considered as incidental to work and noting extra shall be payable. The type and brand of anti-stripping agent along with procedure shall be approved by SE-in-Charge in writing before start of work. A proper record of results be maintained and same shall be submitted along with bills by the contractor.

Providing & laying 60 mm DBM using the reclaimed material to the extent of 30% per cent of the required quantity after carrying out necessary checks and evaluation, adding fresh material including rejuvenation as required, grade, level and thickness, all as specified in clause 519. (5th revision) 2013 using bitumen VG-30 (minimum Bitumen's 4.50% i/c bitumen of retrieved material as per job mix formula ) using 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant with appropriate arrangement for use of R.A.P, appropriate rollers and with hydraulic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade. If bitumen required more than 4.50% as per job mix formula no extra payment will be paid extra bitumen required will be considered as incidental to work. Note:- Before carrying out bituminous work, coating & Stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is to be performed in accordance with IS-6241. If coating and stripping of bitumen aggregate mix is less than 95%, anti-stripping agent will be used by contractor. Providing & Laying 30 mm thick compacted Bituminous Concrete (BC) in one layer with 100-120 TPH batch type hot mix plant and with a hydrostatic paver finisher with sensor control to the required grade, level and alignment, rolling with smooth wheeled, vibratory and with pneumatic tyred roller of 12 to 15 tonne weight with a tyre pressure of at least 0.56 MPA and tandem rollers to achieve the desired compaction as per clause No. 507 MoRT&H specification (5th Revision) 2013 for road and bridge works (5th Revision)2013 using minimum 5.4% to bitumen grade VG-30 as binder content by weight of total mix, complete in all respects including cost of bitumen instruction issued from time to time by MoRT&H regarding machinery & bitumen will be followed strictly. Providing and laying 100 mm thick Dry Lean Cement Concrete Sub –Base Construction of dry lean Cement Concrete M-10 sub base over a prepared sub grade with coarse and fine aggregate conforming to IS 383 the size if course aggregate not exceeding 25 mm aggregate cement ratio not to be exceed 15:1 aggregate gradation after blending to be as per table 600-1of MoRT&H specification (5th edition) cement content not to be less than 150 kg/ cum optimum moisture content to be determined during trail length construction, concrete strength not to be less than as 10 MPA at 7 days mixed in the batching plant transported to site laid with a paver compacting with 5-10 tonne vibratory roller, finishing and curing as per clause 601 of MoRT&H specification (5th edition ) 2013. Note: - If cement contents are required more than 150 Kg. per cum to achieve strengthening it will be incidental to work and nothing shall be payable on this account.

Providing and laying 250mm cement concrete of un-reinforced, dowel jointed, plain cement concrete pavement M-40 over a prepared sub base with 43 grade cement @ minimum 400 Kg. per cum, coarse and fine aggregate not exceeding 25mm, mixed in a batching and mixing plant as per approved mix design, transported to site, laid with a slip form paver, spread, compacted and finished in a continuous operation including provision and cost of contraction, expansion, construction and longitudinal joints, joint filler, separation membrane, sealant primer, joint sealant, de-bonding strip, dowel bar, tie rod, admixtures as approved, curing compound, finishing to lines and grades as per drawing, panel size 2.75 mtr. x 3.5 mtr., Dowel bars 400mm long 32mm dia MS bar. @300mm C/C, tie bars - 640mm deformed bars, 12mm dia @720mm C/C, provide 125 micron PVC sheet between DLC & PQC and MoRT&H specification No.602. 5th edition 2013 (NS) Note: - Minimum cement content for this item will be 400 kg. per cum of concrete as per approved job mix formula. If the cement content is more than 400 kg /cum, then the extra cement will be incidental to work and nothing shall be payable on this account.

Providing and laying 80mm thick ISI marked interlocking paver blocks confirming to IS: 15658:2006/IRC SP 63-2004 of all shapes and colours in design mix cement M-40 over a bed of 30 mm thick fine sand complete in all respects. [HSR 10.159]

Providing & Marking center line / side line 2.5mm thick (minimum) with hot applied thermo-plastic road marking paint 10 Cms wide/ 15cm wide complete in all respect such as furnishing all labour, materials, tolls equipments including all incidental costs necessary for carrying out in work at site confirming to the technical specification as clause No. 803 of MORT&H specification for road and bridge works (5th revision) of 2013/ Latest edition. Each container of the thermoplastic material shall have the name trademark or other means of identification of manufacturer, batch number, date of manufacture color maximum application temperature and maximum heating temperature. The thermoplastic paint material shall be of Asian Paint-Apcomark/Berger-Sigmarc/Prismo. The glass beads shall be of Potters/Sovitec/Fleolite. The thermoplastic material shall be sampled and tested in accordance with appropriate ASTM/BS method. The contractor shall furnish to the Engineer-in-Charge a copy of certified test reports from the manufacturer of the thermoplastic material meet all requirement of the specifications. The reflectorzing glass beads shall meet the requirement of clause 803.4.2 and test methods mentioned in clause 803.4.2.4 shall be meticulou8sly followed. The minimum thickness specified is exclusive of surface of glass beads .the method of thickness measurement shall be in accordance with appendix B and C of BS:3262 (part-3). Note:- Before start of work the contractor shall give brand , batch no. , manufatcruing date of the material to be used and get approved the same from Engineer-In-Charge before use.

From work for cement concrete blocks in situ, such as staggered R.C.C.blocks, arrows and plain cement concrete blocks.(HSR 9.19)

Precast chequered tiles of 20 mm thickness In ordinary grey cement without chips laid on 20 mm thick bed of cement coarse sand mortar 1:3 with neat cement slurry between joints and over the base in floors, treads of steps and landings. (HSR 14.45)

From the length so measured, the weight of reinforcement shall be calculated in tones on the basis of IS-1732. Wastage , overlaps, couplings, welded joints, spacer bars, chairs, stays, hangers and annealed steel wire or other methods for binding and placing shall not be measured and cost of these items shall be deemed to be included in the rates for reinforcements (NS).

Providing salt glazed stone ware pipes grade ‘A’ in standard length of 600 mm each pipe marked with IS: 651 and their lowering, cutting, jointing and testing as described in HSR item No. 29.38, 29.39, 29.40 including the cost of jointing materials as well as carriage, loading, unloading, stacking, handling, re-handling etc. complete in all respects to the satisfaction of Engineer-in- Charge.(HSR 29.95 (c) ( c ) 200mm internal dia

Pavement Marker (Cat Eyes) Moulded shank raised pavement markers made of polycarbonate and ABS moulded body and reflective panels with micro prismatic lens capable of providing internal reflection of the light entering the lens face and shall support a load of 16000 KG tested in accordance to ASTM D 4280 Type H and complying to specifications of Category A of MORTH Circular No. W/NH/33023/10-97-DO III dt. 11.06.1997. The height width and length shall not be exceed 50mm, 100mm and 100 mm and with minimum reflective area of 13 Sqcm. On each side and the slope to the base shall be 35+/- degree. The strength of detachment of the integrated cylindrical shanks, (of diameter not less than 19+/-2 mm and height not less than 30+/- mm) from the body is to be a minimum value of 500 Kg. Fixing will be by drilling holes on the road for the shanks to go inside, without nails and using epoxy resin based adhesive as per manufacturer’s recommendation and complete as directed by the engineer (of reputed make such as Avery Dennison/3M/etc.)

Providing & fixing road side delineator of height 1200 mm made of M. S. tube size 100 x 80 mm having thickness 1.2mm of height 900 mm and balance 300 mm of M. S. angle 25 x 25 x 3 mm. Having micro prismatic retro-reflective panel conforming to IRC : 67-2012 type 4 HIP and of size 80mm x 150mm on both sides as per clause No. 800 of MORT&H. Complete delineator processed by heat treatment process to makes it resistant to all weather effects fixed in C.C. 1:2:4 block size of 300 x 300 x 450 mm as clause No. 806 of MORT&H specification 5th revision 2013.

Providing & fixing retro-reflective light bollards 1500 mm high as per site requirements, using non-metallic micro prismatic retro reflective sheets conforming to IRC : 67-2012 type 4, HIP specification fixed on 3 mm thick aluminium composite material sheet as base having 0.5 mm thick aluminium on both sides having circular board of size 450mm dia, sheeting of blue back ground and white arrow. The order board will be of size 600 mm x 400 mm made up of high intensity retro-reflective sheeting type 4 fixed over aluminium composite panel sheet 3 mm thick both of the boards fixed on 80 mm NBdia 16 gauge M.S. pipe duly printed. The board to be fixed in CC 1:2:4 block of size 300x300x450mm.

The Median Marker shall be made of tough, high impact resistant injection-molded, thermoplastic body with an isosceles trapezoidal structure of length, width and height not less than 15 cm, 10cm and 10 cm respectively and thickness not less than 1.8mm. The plastic used for molding the Median Marker shall have a minimum lzod impact strength value of 6Kg-f when tested in accordance with ASTM D256. The logo of the manufacturer shall be embossed on either side of the body in the injection molding process. The Median Marker shall have fluorescent yellow color retro-reflective sheeting of size not less than 8.5cm*8.5cm and with fully reflective micro prismatic cube corners as its retro-reflective elements and meets ASTM D4956 type IX specifications. The retro-reflective sheeting shall be one or both sides of the Median Marker and shall be edge protected with no exposed edges that prevent edge lifting, vandalism, setting damage, etc. The Median Marker shall be fixed by a combination of epoxy adhesive and grouting. (of reputed make such as Avery Dennison/3M).

Providing & erecting OVERHEAD SIGNS gantry supported by M. S. Pipe Structure complete as per drawings, Technical Specifications and as directed by Engineer-In-Charge including construction of R. C. C. foundation for providing of M. S Tubular structure for Cantilever signage at given site as per drawing enclosed. The C. C. mix to be in ratio of 1:1½:3 (RCC 1:1½:3) and that of lean to be ratio of 1:3:6 the work will be carried out as per the instructions of Engineer-In-Charge. Note: Foundation including reinforcement etc. as per Drawing. Cantilever Over head Sign gantry. frame/truss Size- 3.05m x 1.830m

Providing and fixing sign boards on the gantry of Size- 3.05m x 1.830m made out of retro-reflective sheeting of high intensity micro prismatic grade conforming to IRC: 67 - 2012 Type IV standards fixed on 4mm thick Aluminum Composite Panels (ACP sheet ) as base board with pressure-sensitive adhesive having 0.5 mm thick Aluminum on both sides. The messages (legends, letters, numerals etc.) and borders of Retro Reflective Boards shall be of cut letters made in transparent overlay film pasted over the base sheeting with pressure sensitive adhesive or as instructed by the manufacturers or as directed by the Engineer-In-Charge. Note:- 1.) Work will be carried out as per MoRTH specification for road and bridges works (5th Revision). 2.) Retro-reflective sheeting of high intensity mirco-prismatic grade confirming to IRC 67-2017 Type-IV Standards shall be of Avery Dennision/3M make only. 3.) Warranty and Durability as per clause 801.3.11 of MoRTH Specification 5th Revision will be applicable which is reproduced as under :- The Contractor shall obtain from the manufacturer a ten year warranty for satisfactory field performance including stipulated retro-reflectance of the retro-reflective sheeting of micro-prismatic sheeting and a seven-year warranty for high intensity grade and submit the same to the Engineer. The warranty shall be inclusive of the screen printed or cut out letters/legends and their bonding to the retro-reflective sheeting. The Contractor /supplier shall also furnish the LOT numbers and certification that the signs and materials supplied against the assigned work meets all the stipulated requirements and carry the stipulated warranty and that the contractor /supplier is the authorized convertor of the particular sheeting. All signs shall be dated during fabrication with indelible markings to indicate the start of warranty. The warranty shall also cover the replacement obligation by the sheeting manufacturer as well as contractor for replacement/repair/restoration of the retro-reflective efficiency. A certificate in original shall be given by the sheeting manufacturer that its offered retro-reflective sheeting has been tested for various parameters such as co-efficient of retro-reflection, day/night time colour and luminance, shrinkage, flexibility, linear removal, adhesion, impact resistance , specular gloss and fungus resistance; the tests shall be carried out by a Government Laboratory in accordance with various ASTM procedures and the results must show that the sheeting has passed the requirements for all the above mentioned parameters. A copy of the test reports shall be attached with the certificate.

Preparation of berms including filling of Earth work, excavation and cutting of earth in all kind of soils including dressing the bank, side slope to given levels and templates after breaking of clouds, including the cost of rolling and watering all allowances for labour hardness wetness irrespective of all lead and lift, but including Compensation for earth taken from private land, fields etc. and compacted to meet requirement of table 300-2 of MoRT&H specification clause No. 305and to the entire satisfaction of the Engineer of the work conforming to PWD specification No. 6.2 and 6.3 and 3.2 and the other specification 1990 Ist edition. As per X-section attached at DNIT at Section -9. Note:-No earth work will be allowed to be taken from PWD B&R/ ROW except for surplus earth after approval from Engineer.

Providing & fixing public information board consisting of 75 mm GI Pipe of size 2.45 m x 1.15 m with 900 mm x 900 mm GI sheet 16 gauge connected/ welded with 5 mm thick steel plate of 50 mm duly painted as per column mentioned in the Drawing and fixing at site in 60 x 60 x 75 cm cement concrete 1:2:4 block complete in all respect.

Recovery items: The rates quoted against recovery items will not be included in the total amount rather it will be deducted while calculating financial statement of the agency. i) Material obtained from dismantling of existing brick work, bituminous layer and granular layers have been calculated taking assumption that 80% of theoretical material will be retrieved. The dismantled material can used in any of the item for the work after modification (bringing it to required specifications) after approval from employer. In case it is not possible to use this material on the work, the agency can take away this material. This material can be taken away by the agency at the price quoted by the agency but minimum price to be quoted is limited to reserve price as fixed and mentioned as under :- Stone metal WBM @ Rs. 692.30/- per cum Note: All quantities of the above materials have been worked out on the basis of theoretical quantities laid on this road. However, agency may visit site before quoting rates and assess the extent of retrieved material. There shall be no measurement after actual dismantling and if material after dismantling is found on lesser side, no claim of agency on this score will be entertained and full recovery on the basis of quoted rate and quantity exhibited in the BOQ shall be made. The reserve rates are minimum rates to be used as base for quoting purchase rate by the agency. No rates below the reserve price will be entertained and reserve price will be considered for all purposes in case the agency quotes lesser than reserve price.
