Clearing thick jungles and trees upto 15 cm girth including cutting, uprooting roots and stumps, removing them from the site of the work, etc.complete as directed.( When more than 60 % of the area is covered by shrubs,trees etc).
Earthwork in bank trimming to the designed section /slope including removing the soils at a safe distance, complete as directed.
Earth work in embankment by Tractor-trailer carriage in locally available ordinary soil excluding rocky soil free from roots & vegetation and filling in uniform layers not exceeding 22 cm. thick including ploughing and roughening or bencing the seat, removing all debric, breaking clods up to 2.5 cm cube, dressing as per design section including payment of forest royalty if any, etc. complete as directed. (10% deduction will be made from the section measured quantities of the completed and compacted earth work on account of shrinkage).
Labour for ramming with cast iron rammer to proper compaction including watering if necessary , etc complete as directed.
