Excavation in trenches in soft/loose soil not exceeding 1.5 meters wide and not exceeding 1.5 meter depth for laying of HT cables complete all as specified and as directed.

Returning filling in trenches including spreading leveling watering and well ramming in layers each not exceeding 25 cm in soft/loose soil complete all as specified

Removing surplus spoil to a distance not exceeding 50 meter and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 meters above the starting point, complete all as specified.

M&L for Sand cushioning to UG cable 40cm wide 15cm and 10cm thick above and below the cable in trenches/ducts complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge punned down the thickness will be taken from measurement.

Supply and laying un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover class HV type I flat of size 300mm x 180mm x 40mm all as specified factory made ISI marked.

Opening up the top cover of the transformer by taking out the transformer oil in a separate container after disconnecting / taking out the HT/LT side electric connections from both the primary & secondary side of the transformer of any type / description (indoor / outdoor type ) installed on floor/pole for carrying out necessary repair / rewinding to HT/LT side or any other repair as required after shifting the transformer to contractor's work shop including taking out complete core assembly, Magger the winding for identifying the fault/defective winding, segregating the defective winding portion/taking out, cleaning the laminated core rewinding with appropriate gauge winding wire of existing description for transformer of capacity 50 to 160 KVA including assembling & testing on completion & installation the same at the site all as specified and directed. Note : (i) Winding of coil and spares required as per repair shall be measured and paid separately under respective item.(ii) The transportation charges and taking down/taking up of transformer are inclusive in the quoted rates.(iii) The cost for the dehydration of transformer oil if reqd shall be measured & paid separately.(iv) The cost of insulation material such as paper, cotton tape , latheroid sheet , cast sheet etc are inclusive in the quoted rate

Record of test results after dehydration shall be submitted to the Engineer-in-Charge

Supply and filling for topping up transformer oil in the transformer with dielectric strength of oil to min 40 KV at 2.5mm gap complete all as specified.

Material & labour for copper winding wire of any size/description suitable for step down power transformer of any capacity, including winding of coils (HT/LT) as per the manufacturers design & specification to obtain rated KVA complete all as specified.

Material and labour for recording earth resistance values of distribution transformer/GOD/LA 11kV/66kV any type strip/wire of any capacity and submitted the record to the Engineer-in-charge complete all as specified and directed. Note: The T&P for the work to be arranged by the contractor and all rates are deemed to be inclusive in quoted rate.

Material & labour for preparing old painted surface of distribution / power transformer outdoor / indoor / pole mounted of capacity 300 to 500 KVA by cleaning, removing the old paint by scratching with wire brush etc and applying with spray machine two coats of synthetic enamel paint of grey colour on external surfaces of the transformer and writing of letter HT / LT or HV / LV and SM / MES Nos including disconnecting and making electric connections complete all as specified and directed. (A) Nature of work to be done (i) Maintaining the servicability and attending breakdown complaints of electric supply of all the HT feeder of Old Amritsar mentioned from S.No (i) to (xvi) above. (ii) Attending the complaints of breakdown of all LT feeders/cables/OH line from the main poles upto the main DB of the occupant of the user. (iii) Periodical maintainence/complaint rectification of all the HT/LT feeders mentioned from S.No (i) to (xvi) above including (a) Replacement of overheated jumpers/blown off jumpers. (b) Replacement of blown off HT fuses (c) Periodical/Routine complaints of LT panels (d) Suitable wooden ladder shall be provided by the contractor to do the complaints by the tradesman. (e) Vehicle shall not be provided by the department, it shall be deployed by the contractor. (f) Contractor shall deploy sufficient manpower round the clock in the power house for rectification of the complaints within 2 hours of the lodging of complaint failing which penalty shall be made at Rs 200/per complaint (g) Complaint register and complaint slip shall be provided and maintained by the Contractor Note: (i) Time Consuming jobs such as replacement of defective cable joints / repair of cable by extension of loop/ periodical trimming of trees/branches along the over head lines shall be measured and paid separately. (ii) Minor items such as HT/LT PVC tape shall be arranged by the contractor at no extra cost to the govt. (iii) Protective clothing/Uniform/Tools : The duty electrician and helpers shall wear uniform as directed/decided by the GE/engineeer-in-charge. Mandatory tools such as insulating plier, cutter, screw drivers, DE spanner set, Night Torch, safety helmet, safety belt shall be provided by the contractor. (iv) Rates quoted by the contractor are deemed to be inclusive of above.
