Supplying and filling in Foundation and basement and trenches etc., with well Gravel in layers of not more than 15cm thick well rammed watered and well consolidated etc., complete complying with standard specifications and as directed by the Engineer,i/c.,

Providing Pre - construction Anti - termite treatment and creating a chemical barrier to the building by injecting chemical emulsion of required concentration under grade slab and grade beam, all round the Pile Caps, Catch basins, trenches, pits, tunnels, wall trenches, back fill, plinth filling, junction of wall and floor. External perimeter of building, surrounding of pipes, expansion joints, below U.G. sump and retaining/side walls etc. as per instructions of chemical manufacturer as directed by the Department officer/ Architect. The treatment shall be carried out strictly in accordance with the technical specification and conforming to IS 6313 or equivalent BS specification. The chemical to be used as insecticide for the treatment shall be Biflex Tc, TC stands for Termiticide Concentrate for Termite Control (Bifenthrin) and the application shall be diluted 1 part of chemical Biflex Tc with 49 parts of water to get 0.05% emulsion and strictly in accordance with the manufacturer’s specification. The work should be carried out by an approved and registered specialist pest control agency only. Tenderer to furnish the name of the proposed specialist firm. A 10 years post application guarantee against defects shall be furnished by the main Contractor. Note : Horizontal plan area at ground floor level of the building will be measured and paid

CENTRING WORKS (SCAFFOLDING AND FORM WORK)

Supplying and erecting steel shuttering including necessary supports for plane surfaces in foundation and basement for reinforced cement concrete works such as column footing, plinth beam, grade beam, and stair case steps, etc. Which require only normal strutting using M.S.sheets of size 90cmx60cm 10 gauge, stiffened with mild steel angles of size 25mm x25mm x 3mm for boarding supported by silver oak joists of size 10cm x 6.50cm spaced at about 90 cm centre to centre and supported by the casurina props of 10cm to 13cm dia spaced at 75cm centre to centre etc. complying with standard specification. (The payment for centering will be made only after the concrete is laid).

REINFORCED CEMENT CONCRETE WORKS

Reinforced Cement Concrete 1:11/2:3 (One Cement, one and half M.sand and three hard broken stone jelly) using machine broken 20 mm gauge hard broken granite stone jelly for all RCC item of works excluding cost of reinforcement grill, fabricating charges, centering and shuttering but including laying, vibrating with mechanical vibrator, finishing, curing, etc., complete and providing fixtures like fan clamps in the RCC floor/roof slab wherever necessary and bearing surfaces of wall, beam etc. shall be finished smooth with cement mortar 1:3 (One Cement and Three P.Sand) 12mm thick and kraft paper laid over it without claiming extra, etc., complete complying with standard specification as directed by the departmental officers.

Supplying, fabricating and placing in position of steel reinforcements using MS / RTS rods for all RCC works as per design given including cost of steel. Wherever required at contractor’s expense.]

Brick work in Cement Mortar 1:5 (One cement and Five M.sand) using second class ground moulded chamber burnt bricks of size 9”x 4½”x 3” for the following including curing, etc., complete complying with standard specification.

Special ceiling plastering and finishing the RCC exposed surface such as RCC slabs sunshade facia, canopy slab, stair case, waist slab, landing slab etc., with cement mortar 1:3 (One cement and three P.sand) 10mm thick including hacking and providing necessary cement mortar nosing, beading etc., wherever necessary and as directed with cement mortar etc., complete complying with standard specification

FLOORING AND TILING

Paving the floor with Designed Colour double charged Vitrified tiles of size 600mm x 600mm x 8mm in all floors over a base layer of Cement Mortar 1:3 (One cement and three M.sand) 20mm thick and pointed with white cement mixed with colouring pigments at the rate of 0.3 Kg/sq.m including finishing neatly and curing, etc. complete, complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers. (The basic cost of tiles should not be less than Rs.80/-- Sq.ft)

Flooring with the Eurocon tiles of size 20mm thick laid over cement mortar 1:3 (One cement and three M.Sand) 20mm thick and pointing the joints to full depth of slabs with cement mortar 1:3 (one cement and three M.Sand ) mixed with colour oxide including laying, finishing, polishing with machine polish, curing etc., complete complying with standard specification

Paving the floor with Designed Colour Ceramic joint free tiles of size 305x305x 6mm in all floors over a base layer of Cement Mortar 1:3 (One cement and three M.Sand) 20mm thick and pointed with white cement mixed with colouring pigments at the rate of 0.3 Kg/sq.m including finishing neatly and curing, etc. complete, complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Dadooing the wall with glazed tiles of size 30cmx45cm of approved colour and quality with base plastering of cement mortar 1:3 [One cement and three M.Sand] 12mm thick, pointed with coloured cement to match the colour of the tiles finishing neatly etc., complete.

PAINTING & POLISHING

Painting two coats of newly plastered wall surface with ready mixed exterior emulsion paint of first class quality and approved colour over a priming coat including thorough scrapping, clean removal of dirt and including necessary plaster of paris putty, wherever required etc., complete complying with standard specification.

Painting two coats of Interior emulsion paint over one coat of exterior primer using best quality and approved colour of paint, brushes, scaffolding charges etc. complete complying with standard specification. Paint, primer and colour have to be got approved by the Engineer,i/c.,

Painting new iron works such as steel doors, windows, ventilators, window bars, balustrades etc., with two coats of best approved first quality and colour of synthetic enamel paint over the existing red oxide priming coat in all floors etc., complete complying with standard specification. (The make, quality and colour of paint should be got approved by the Engineer,i/c., before use on works).

Doors

Supply and fixing country wood scantling (first quality Paddock wood) for door frames including labour charges for making, applying anti corrosive paint on the back sides of frame and fixing the frame in position, etc. complete complying with standard specification. (The wood have to be got approved by departmental Engineers before use on work).

Supplying and fixing flush door shutters 35mm thick of single leaf with skin type paneled door made up of hard wood of approved quality including fixing necessary furniture fittings such as iron oxide MS hinges of 125mm x 30mm size 3 Nos., aluminium aldrop of size 250 x 16mm – 1 No. aluminium tower bolt of size 250 x 12mm – 1 No. Aluminium tower bolt of size 200x12mm – 1 No., D type aluminium handle of size 125mm – 2 Nos. Aluminium door stopper / magnet catch 3” depth – 1 No. respectively, etc. complete complying with standard specification.

Supplying and fixing of country wood (first quality Paddock) paneled door of double leaf using first class Country wood. The vertical styles will be 120mm x 38mm and top rail will be 250mm x 38mm bottom rail and middle rails will be 200mm x 38mm including cost of furniture fittings like oxidized iron butt hinges of size 125 x 30mm - 6 Nos., Aluminium tower bolt of size 250x12mm – 2 Nos., Aluminium tower bolt of size 200 x 12mm - 1 No., Aluminium aldrop of size 250 x 16mm - 1 No. to be fixed with 40mm bolt, etc. D type aluminium handle of size 125mm – 3 Nos. Aluminium door stopper / magnet catch 3” depth – 2 Nos. respectively, etc. complete complying with standard specification. (Wood shall be Paddock or its equivalent)

Supplying of MS hold fasts of size 230x50x6mm MS flats suitably folded to the rejoined ‘Z’ shape to have two end flabs 50mm long and over all length of the horizontal position as 230mm and including making necessary groove in the two end flats to accommodate screws etc complete.

Windows

Supplying, fabricating and fixing in position standard pristine white U-PVC (Un-Plasticized Polyvinyl Chloride) partly fixed and partly sliding windows as per the design and drawings and making necessary opening for the exhaust fan fixing in all floors with extruded upvc sections of required sizes as per IS Standard with necessary accessories such as rubber beedings with best quality rubber, lock, handle, supplying and fixing 4mm thick plain / frosted glass including the cost of all materials, labour, power consumption required for the fabrication, drilling holes in RCC columns, floor, masonry wall wherever necessary with power drills to the required extent and making good to the original condition after fixing etc., and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

UPVC Ventilator Specification:Supplying and fixing UPVC (Un-Plasticized Polyvinyl Chloride) Louvered Ventilators of from the profile the size of outer frame 60mm x 58mm and shutter profile size of 60 x 78mm both profiles are reinforced with GI/1mm 125GSM and100% corrosion free, the profile are multi chambered sections with wall thick of 2mm. The EPDM rubber (black colour) covered with all over the edges of frame and shutter. The corners and joints should be welded and cleaned. Radiations pin headed glass 4mm thick should be provided in the louvers. The window should be fixed to the wall with 100% packing with screws and silicon packing all round the frames. The ventilator should be got approved from the Executive Engineer before use on work

Supplying and fixing UPVC (Un-Plasticized Polyvinyl Chloride) doors. Providing and fixing casement doors fabricated from un-plasticized polyvinyl chloride (UPVC) sections. Profiles:- The profiles should be three chamber system which provides high insulation properties with outer frame 60mm x 55mm with an outer wall thickness of 2.4mm. The window unit should be designed with all corner joints mitred and fusion welded. Windows should be steel reinforced with 25 x 24 x 25mm steel reinforcement with a thickness of 1mm to have dimensional stability. The sash should be of 60 x 102mm. The mullion should be of 60 x 74mm. The profiles should have co-extruded seals. Hardware:- All the hardware like friction stays, handles should be screwed with self tapping screws. The handles, locks should be designed so that they cannot be released from outside. Glazing:- The window system should be glazed with 5mm plain float glass / 6mm bison lam. Installation:- The profiles should be cut to length and welded 45 degrees. The window should be designed such that the water drainage does not pass through the reinforcement chamber. The window system should be fixed directly to the plastered brick wall using self expanding nylon plug and driving ms electroplated screws into plug.

Supplying and fixing of M.S.grill of approved design for open courtyard, grill, grill work to doors and window openings etc., using necessary mild steel flats for inner and outer members which should be fixed on edges including priming coat of best approved quality red oxide primer etc., complete complying with standard specification.

Manufacturing, Supplying and Fixing of Stainless Steel Hand rails for staircase using 50mm dia 304L Grade Stainless Steel pipe of 1.60mm thick at required locations to a height of 900mm from finished floor level welded to 38mm dia Stainless Steel pipe post of 1.00mm thick as vertical at 900mm centre with 2 Nos. of 25mm dia intermediate horizontal stainless steel pipe of 1.60mm thick in between. The vertical pipe has to be welded to the 100 X 100 X 6mm MS base plate encased in the base concrete. The rate is inclusive of the charges for cutting, bending, welding, grinding, polishing, conveyance, electrical charges, etc., complete.

Paving the floor with Solar Reflective Ceramic tiles of size 305 x 305 x 7mm in all floors over a base layer of Cement Mortar 1;3 (One Cement and three M.sand) 20mm thick and pointed with White cement mixed with colouring, pigments at the rate of 0.3 Kg/sq.m including finishing neatly and curing etc., complete complying with standard specification and as directed by the departmental officers.

Providing Granolithic floor finish for 25 mm thickness using plain Cement Concrete 1:2:4 (One cement, two M.sand, and four stone jelly) using 10 to 12mm hard broken stone jelly and the top surface shall be rubbed smooth in all floors, finishing, threading and curing etc., complete complying with standard specification.

Supplying and fixing of double sides pre-polished Cuddapha slab for cupboards, racks, platform in all floors including the cost of cement mortar, curing etc., complete complying with standard specification (Granite slab thickness should be 25mm to 30mm thick) and as directed by the Engineer,i/c.,

Supplying and fixing in position best approved ISI quality PVC Rain water down fall pipes of 110mm dia meter having working pressure of 4Kg/Cm2 including cost of PVC pipe, with necessary shoes, bends, nails, teakwood plugs, screws etc., and fixing of cost iron gratings of required dia meter and special clamps at junction of parapet and the RCC roof slab including finishing neatly etc., complete. The size of teakwood plugs to be used shall be 150mm X 25mm in front and 200mm X 75mm in rear and all other sides to a depth of 100mm. The PVC pipe shall be fixed with teak wood plugs by means of “U” clamps using brass screws. Special types of “U” clamp at the centre of the pipeline shall be fixed in addition to those for more than 3 meter pipe length complying with standard specifications.

Manufacturing supplying and fixing of STEEL DOOR with following section. Outer frame 40 X 40 X 6mm Hollow steel special extruded section at 3.28Kg/RM and shutter frame 35 X 35 X 6mm hollow steel special extruded section at 3.28Kg/RM.
