Excavation in trenches n.exc 1.5metre wide and n.exc 1.5 metre in depth for foundation etc or for laying of cable etc and getting out in soft/loose soil

Returning, filling in, including spreading, levelling, watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25 Cm in depth.

Removing of excavated material (soil) to a distance n.exc 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level n.exc 1.50metre above the starting point

M & L Sand cushioning to PVC under ground cable with Tibba sand and punning to provide a required cover.

M & L Bricks for protection cover to under ground cable (with old size sub class ‘B’ bricks) with width equal to length of brick laid dry and flat abutting each other with gaps between adjacent brick not exceeding 10mm as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Dismantling of existing ACSR conductor of any size from insulators fixed on cracked / broken poles as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for aluminium conductor steel reinforced (ACSR) straining properly on insulator and binding with aluminium tap/binding with connectors, jumpers etc.of any type and sizes complete all as specified and directed by engineer-in-charge.

Straining only of existing ACSR conductor of any size tying on existing poles properly on insulators and binding with aluminium tap/binding with connectors, jumpers etc conplete as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (each length of conductor measured separately) Note :- Measurement and payment shall be made by measuring horizontal distance between centre of two adjacent poles and adding 3% extra for sag, joints & jumpers etc.

Supply & fixing or laying galvanised steel tubing light grade (ISI marked) for protection of under ground cable on poles / walls under road crossing etc of following sizes including dismantling & taking down existing pipe :-

(a) 100mm bore

(b) 80mm bore

(c) 50mm bore

M&L earthing with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60cm x 60cm x 6 mm thick, with GI earth strip 32 mm x 6 mm protected by galvanised iron or steel pipe 40 mm bore light grade with Watering pipe 20 mm bore GI medium grade. The rate of earthing shall be inclusive of necessary earth work in any type of soil, charcoal, salt, funnel, PCC pit and RCC cover with handle complete as per electrical plate No. 3 of MES SSR Part-I.

M&L earthing with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60cm x 60cm x 6 mm thick, with GI earth strip 25 mm x 4 mm protected by galvanised iron or steel pipe 40 mm bore light grade with Watering pipe 20 mm bore GI medium grade. The rate of earthing shall be inclusive of necessary earth work in any type of soil, charcoal, salt, funnel, PCC pit and RCC cover with handle complete as per electrical plate No. 3 of MES SSR Part-I.

Trimming of tree branches upto 75 mm dia to clear the route of HT/LT over head lines upto 3m from the conductor including removing the cut branches from site and depositing at places n exc 50m all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (Note :- 1. One span from pole to pole of distance not more than 30 metres(approx) shall be considered as one unit. 2. The frequency of trimming of tree branches shall not be less than 3 months and initial trimming to be carried out with in one month of handing over site and subsequent trimming if required to be carried out with prior written approval of GE.

Supply, Laying, Jointing, testing & commissioning LT under ground cable XLPE insulated, screened PVC bedded, galvanised steel strips or wire armoured, heavy duty with multi stranded aluminium conductor, 1100 volts grade (ISI marked) laid in trenches, ducts, pipes or fixed on pole etc incliuding taking down of following size :-

(a) 240 Sqmm, 3½ Core

(b) 185 Sqmm, 3½ Core

(c) 120 Sqmm, 3½ core cable

(d) 95 Sqmm, 3½ Core

(e) 70 Sqmm, 3½ Core

(f) 50 Sqmm, 3½ core cable

(g) 35 Sqmm, 3½ core cable

(h) 25 Sqmm, 3½ core cable

M & L Painting to old steel surface Steel tubular pole 9.0 mtr long with attached accessories (cross arms, clamps, GI protection pipe etc) with one coat of aluminium paint after preparation of surfaces including painting to poles with two coats black & white paints in straps alternatively all round the poles from the bottom of the pole for indication of poles. Height of the each strap shall be 30cm and number of straps shall be 5 Nos complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Supply and fixing cable heat shrink jointing kit termenation outdoor (earthed) for 1.1 KV grade cable for straight through joint complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable and testing after jointing of size:-

(a) 25 - 35 Sqmm 3½ Core

(b) 50 - 70 Sqmm 3½ Core

(c) 95 - 120 Sqmm 3½ Core

(d) 150 - 185 Sqmm 3½ Core

M&L for fault locating machine for fault finding on requirement for LT/HT cables of any type/size complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in charge. Note :- One number of fault as located/found shall be measured as one Job/Unit for payment.

Disconnecting & taking out the existing Unserviceable MCCB from panel and Supply 415 V, 50 Hz, 3 phase including extension terminals and connecting using suitable fasteners, modification/fabrication if any complete all as required at site, as specified and directed.

Surface Dressing/Cleaning of various 11 KV sub-stations free from vegetation of any type including trimming of tree branches, bushes, creepers, etc. complete all as specified & directed. Note: 1. The frequency of surface dressing shall not be less than 2 months but total 03 times during currency of entire contract period and quoted rate to be deemed included the same for entire period.

M&L for repairing of LT existing panel Doors welding, cutting, hinges, nuts, bolts etc

Supply & fix LT panel out door (Kiosk type) type, weather & vermin proof MS sheet housing 3.15mm thick, powder coated over a coat of primer, double door, front & rear openable type, mounted on 40x40x6 mm angle iron frame, floor mounted type with one MCCB, 4 pole, 100 Amp, 25 KA 415 volts as incomer, copper bus bar 200 Amp of length not less than 60 cm, 4 pole duly drilled with holes for cable connections, after due approval of panel drawing including PCC pedestals of suitable size, removal of old unsv panel, making good the area complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge including dismentling/replacement of existing wornout panel.

S&F testing & commissioning of steel 9 mtr GI octagonal pole - Top dia -70 mm, Bottom dia - 155 mm, section 1 (section length-7000mm) thick- 3mm, base plate - 260mmx260mmx16mm,hole in pole at a height of 300mm above above the planting depth with single arm bracket 1 mtr with 33.7mm OD GI pipe and individuals spike earthing with 8 SWG wire inclusive of civil foundation work, foundation bolt-M24x750mm (4Nos) built in control box with flush cover, singlearm, (9mtr), including junction box suitable in side the control box comprising of 6A SP MCB with terminals suitable for terminating incoming and outgoing cable of up to 3.5 core 16 sqmm 1.1 kv grade armoured pvc insulated and covered cables including bolt, nut & screws, clamp , including earth work and PCC etc,including Taking down as complete and as directed by engr-in-Charge

M&L for lifting of LT existing panel to height of 450mm from ground using 40X40X6mm angle iron all including dismantling electrical connections welding, cutting, inches, nuts, bolts etc and pcc footings all as specified and directed by Engr-in- Charge.

Dismantling of existing LT panel all as directed by Engineer-in-Charge and refixing the same at another site/shifting to another site after necessary repairs etc.

M&L for painting of LT feeder pillar box one coat of of synthetic enamel paint all including preparation of surface etc all as specified and directed by Engr-in- Charge.
