REPAIR/ MAINT OF WATER SUPPLY LINE AND CONNECTED ITEMS IN BIRDHWAL, ASCON NODES, 815 CETC AND ALL OUT STATION IN THE AOR OF AGE E/M UNDER GE (A) SURATGARH AT SURATGARH MIL STN

S&F as in replacement of galvanised steel water tubing, size 15 mm bore 'medium grade' ISI marked with & including all fittings such as socket, tee, nipple, elbow, reducer etc. and fixed to wall or laid on floors/ in trenches complete as directed by Engr-in-charge.

All as per above item No. 01 but water tubing 20 mm dia bore.

All as per above item No. 01 but water tubing 25 mm dia bore.

All as per above item No. 01 but water tubing 40 mm dia bore.

All as per above item No. 01 but water tubing 50 mm dia bore.

All as per above item No. 01 but water tubing 80 mm dia bore.

Taking up / down old rusted 80 mm bore GI water pipe line 'light weight' (Nidhi pipe) including connections laid under floor or laid in trenches etc complete all as specified and directed Note :- (i) Excavation and earthwork shall be measured and paid separately. (ii) old unserviceable pipe shall be deposited in AGE E/M store yard

All as per Srl item No 2 above but 150 mm bore.

Welding work and any addition / alteration, cutting and jointing blank flanged to the DI / CI / GI pipe 80/100/150/200 mm bore including suitable nut bolts, washer, rubber gasket complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supplying, laying, jointing, commissioning and testing as in replacement 100mm bore centrifugally cast (Spun) ductile iron pressure pipe with spigot and socketed ends class K-9, confirming to IS : 8329/2000 blast furnace slag cement with portland cement properties suitable for Push-on-joint (rubber gasket jointing / tyton joints) with inside cement mortar lining and black bitumen external coating, duly (ISI marked) laid in trenches complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note :- (i) Rubber tyton joints & run lead joints of pipes and DI fittings shall be measured and paid separately under respective items of BOQ. (ii) Pipes shall be laid in trenches already excavated for taking out old existing pipe line. Extra excavation / earthwork shall not be paid.

All as per Srl item No 9 above but 150 mm dia bore.

All as per Srl item No 9 above but 250 mm dia bore.

Excavation in trenches, not exc 1.5 m wide and n. exc 1.5 m depth, or n exc 10 Sqm on plan and n exc 1.5 m in depth for foundations, shafts, wells, manholes, or laying water supply pipe lines etc. in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Returning, filling in, including spreading, leveling watering and well ramming in layers n.exc 25 cm in soft/loose soil complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge..

Removal of excavated soil/ material to a distance not exc 50 metre and depositing where directed at a level not exc 1.50 metre above the starting point complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Taking up / down 150 mm bore GI water pipe line 'light weight' including connections laid under floor or laid in trenches and re-laying after repair to pipe and joint complete all as specified and directed Note :- (i) Excavation and earthwork shall be measured and paid separately.

M&L for repair to nidhi joint (clamp type) of size 150 mm bore by replacement of unserviceable rubber ring gasket, nut bolts washer etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

S&F DI fittings confirming to IS-9523-2000 such as bends (any type, radius and angle), tapers any type (straight, bend, increasing, decreasing or double socket etc), tee pieces, single branch, 'Y' junction, double branch, cross collar, caps and plugs, blank flange etc. suitable for spigot and socketed pipes complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F as in replacement Gun metal, gate valve, ISI marked, IS-778, size 15 mm bore pipe with iron wheel head, inside screwed both ends for iron pipes complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

All as per Srl item No 17 above but 20 mm dia bore.

All as per Srl item No 17 above but 25 mm dia bore.

All as per Srl item No 17 above but 40 mm dia bore.

All as per Srl item No 17 above but 50 mm dia bore.

All as per Srl item No 17 above but 80 mm dia bore.

Supply and as fix in replacement of 80 mm bore, cast Iron sluice valve, rising spindle type with flanged ends, ISI marked, IS:1486, class PN - 1.6 with stem of stainless steel and gun metal working part with iron hand wheel with nuts, bolts, washers and flange rubber gasket complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

All as per Srl item No 23 above but 100 mm dia bore.

All as per Srl item No 23 above but 150 mm dia bore.

M&L for repair to sluice valve of size 80/100/150 mm bore by removing from the piping network, draining the system as required and refacing, regrinding and replacement of gun metal nut with internal threading, welding work, finishing work as required to make smooth function of valve and refixing of the same with nut bolts washer with new rubber gasket, gland packing complete. Note: Rate includes the cost of transportation to civil workshop and back complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

All as per Srl item No 26 above but 200/250 mm dia bore.

Supply and fix as in replacement cast iron double orifice Air release valve, ISI marked, IS:14845, PN 1.6 pressure rating with stainless steel floats, size 50 mm bore, having flanged end including nut bolts washers and flange rubber gasket complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

S&F as in replacement Cast iron, Non return valve with gun metal seat, PN 1.6, IS:5312 flanged end suitable for 80 mm bore pipe with brass nuts, bolts, washers and jointing with necessary flange ruber gasket etc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

All as per Srl item No 29 above but 100 mm dia bore.

All as per Srl item No 29 above but 150 mm dia bore.

M&L for repair to NRV by removing of size 80/100/150 mm bore from the piping and replacement with new synthetic leather seat best quality of suitable size and refixing of the same with nut bolts washer and flange rubber gasket complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge..

S&F as in replacement Cast Iron foot valve for 80 mm bore pipe, flanged end / screwed as per IS-4038 with rubber seat with brass nut bolts and washer with flange rubber gasket complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

All as per Srl item No 33 above but 100 mm dia bore.

All as per Srl item No 33 above but 150 mm dia bore.

M&L for repair to foot valve by removing of size 80/100/150 mm bore from the piping in UG sump and replacement with new synthetic leather seat best quality of suitable size and refixing of the same with nut bolts washer and rubber packing complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

Demolition of old unserviceable valve vit chamber and M&L for Construction of brick masonry valve pit of internal size 120cm x 120cm x 120cm including necessary excavation and earth work in soft/loose soil, brick work, plastering, white wash, PCC coping, MS frame made out of angle iron of size 40mmx40mmx6 mm, MS sheet cover of 3 mm thick fixed to angle iron frame by means of hinges welded to frame and painting with 2 coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer on steel surfaces and grouting the frame in PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 including handle and locking arrangement complete all as specified and directed by Engineer - in - Charge Note :- (i) Brick wall shall be 23 cm thick built in cement mortar (1:4) (ii) Internal plaster shall be 15 mm thick in cement mortar (1:4) and external plaster upto 450mm from top shall be 20mm thick in CM (1:6) and remaining external surface shall be flush pointing in CM (1:6) as the work proceeds. (iii) PCC in foundation shall be 15 cm thick in cement concrete (1:4:8) type D2 using 40 mm graded stone aggregate extended 15 cm all around from the external face of the walls. (iv) PCC coping shall be 15 cm thick in cement concrete ( 1:2:4) type B1 using 20 mm graded stone aggregate including grouting of angle iron frame in PCC. (v) Three coats of white wash to internal surfaces of valve pit. (vi) Depth of valve pit shall be reckoned from the top of PCC in foundation.

M&L including testing for replacement of 'D' Joint/ mechanical joint, Ductile Iron, suitable for DI /CI/GI pipe sizes 80/100/150 mm dia bore including necessary fittings, nut bolts, rubber joint etc inlcuidng necessary excavation and earth work a as required at site complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

M&L for cutting of PCC, hard standing, WBM, road not exceeding 45 cm in width not exceeding 100 cm in depth for passing of GI/CI/DI pipes and making good surface finish with PCC suitable grade for road complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in repair steel framed work such as grills, gratings, etc., with ends of bars shouldered and or forged into spikes, framed guard bars, ladders, framed balusters, walk ways, railings, framework of water tanks and similar works of quality Fe 290 (Gde E-165) etc. including two coat of synthetic enamel weather proof paint over a coat of red oxide primer complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for repair to centrifugal pump capacity 40 HP by disconnecting from foundation, strip opening and replacement of unserviceable parts such as impeller, bushes, shaft sleeve, gland plate, gasket packing, studs bolts, nuts, washer,coupling plate,rubber tyre coupling ,ball bearing etc. including repair to bearing seat and lathe work, turning, grinding, filling of material, finishing etc. on shaft and shaft key way as required including greasing/oiling and re-assembling the pump with proper alingnment with motor and testing complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. Note:- Major Parts like impeller, bushes, gland plate,rubber tyre coupling etc. deemed to be included under the unit rate quoted by Bidder.Nothing shall be paid extra.

All as per item No 40 above but servicing of centrifugal pump 20 HP

All as per item No 40 above but servicing of centrifugal pump 10 /7.5 HP

M&L for rewinding of electric motor of 40 HP, three phase, 415 volts, AC with super enamelled copper winding wire of existing gauge including varnishing, baking, cotton tape and assembling and testing all as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

All as per serial item No 43 above but rewinding of motor of 20 HP.

All as per serial item No 43 above but rewinding of motor of 10 /7.5 HP.

M&L for taking out unserviceable submersible pump set of capacity 7.5 HP from borewell with electrical wiring carefully by chain pully block or other T&P as required on site and dismantling the pump and motor and replacement of defective parts such as iron stainer, bronze impeller, gun metal bushes, stainless steel sleeve, impeller key, thrust bearing, nut-bolts, washer, lugs, terminal plate and reassembling of the same and lowering in well in its original position with electrical wiring, making proper electrical connections and testing complete all as and directed by Engr-in-charge. Note : Defective parts replace under the item deemed to be included under the unit rate quoted by Bidder.Nothing shall be paid extra.

All as per Srl item No 46 Above but Submersible pump of capacity 10 HP

All as per Srl item No 46 Above but Submersible pump of capacity 15 HP

Rewiding of motor, submersible type of capacity upto 7.5 HP with copper winding wire of existing gauge including varnishing, baking, cotton tape and greasing of bearings, bushes and other connected parts and making necessary hook/clamp arrengement or body for attaching pvc rope complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

All as per above item No. 47 but rewinding for submersible motor capacity 10 HP

All as per above item No. 47 but rewinding for submersible motor capacity 12.5/15 HP

Supply only as in replacement of submersible cable, 1100 volts, IS:694, flat type, copper conductor of size 10 sqmm 3 core laying in cable duct, GI protection pipe, fixed on wall etc complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F as in replacement of power contactor, 3 Pole, AC3 rating 50 Amp, with auxillary contacts/ Add On Blocks, 2 NO + 2 NC, coil voltage 230 / 415 Volts, 50 Hz, AC complete all as specified and as directed

All as per serial item No. 49 above but contactor, AC3, 40 Amps

Supply and fix in replacement of thermal overload relay, adjustment range (35-40) Amps, 3 phase, 415 volt, 50 Hz AC including mounting block and all electrical connection complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

All as per item No. 51 above but O/R relay Adjustment range (16-24) Amps

Supply and fix in replacement of MCCB, 3 Pole, 415 V AC, 50 Hz, 50kA, 125 Amps, with spread terminals, nut bolts, washer etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge.

All as per item No. 53 above but MCCB , 63 Amps

Supply and fix in replacement of three phase submersible pump contoller, DOL starter, in sheet metal enclosure, 415 V, 50 hz, 3 phase, for 5 HP pump, relay (6-10) Amps with single phase preventer and all electrical connection complete as directed. Make: L&T Model: MU-G6 DOL cat No SS97756COTO or equivalent cat part No. of Make as specified in Appendix "A" Note :- Old unserviceable/serviceable material retrieved from above mentioned all items shall be deposited in store yard of concerened Engineer-in-Charge by the contractor at his own arrangement. Noting extra shall be paid on this account
