Note :- Serviceable pipe obtained from taking down shall used to re-laying.

Supplying, fixing and testing of CI/DI pipe fitting for spigot socketed pipes such as bends (any type, radius and angle), tapers any type (straight, bend, increasing/ decreasing or double socket etc). Tee pieces, single branch, “Y” junction, double branch, cross (all sockets or socket and spigot), collars, End caps and plugs, for pipe upto 400mm bore all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note:- Rate quoted by the contractor shall deemed to inclusive of cutting existing pipe line, including fittings required shall be deemed to included in the quoted rate.

M&L for PCC (1:4:8) type D-2, using (40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundation concrete, mass concrete etc complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Dismantling of valve chamber and removing material not exceeding 50m and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5m above the starting point complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Construction of valve chamber of size 180 x 180 x 120 cm (internal dimensions) with the following specifications :-

(i) 15cm thick PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 (using 40 mm graded stone aggregate) as in foundation concrete. (ii) PCC solid block masonry 200mm thick using grade C-5 block built in CM 1:6 (iii) Rendering 15mm thick in CM 1:4 finished even and fair. (iv) PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate) as in coping. (v) 3mm thick MS sheet cover alongwith MS angle iron frame 40 x 40x6 mm duly embedded in coping concrete with necessary locking arrangement. (vi) Painting MS sheet cover and frame with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer. (NOTE : Excavation and earthwork shall deemed to inclusive in the rate quoted by the contractor.

M&L for cleaning of pump house, Ug Sump/ OH tank surrounding area by surface excavation upto 10 cm depth incl removing shrubs,grass,miniplants and other unwanted materials and levelling complete in soft/loose soil all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M & L for cutting branches of trees of various length to keep a clear distance from pump houses, UG Sump/ OH tank surrounding area and depositioning the cutted branches upto 50 mtr from pump house complete all as specified & directed by Engineer-in-charge.

M&L for Pre-cast cement concrete block masonry with solid blocks exc. 10 cm in width and setting in mortar type C-1 1:3:6, complete built in cement mortar 1:6 making foundation of DI/CI water pipelines to avoid vibration at the time of pumping operation complete with necessary earthwork complete all as specified and directed by Engr-In-Charge. Note: Minimum size for foundation L x W = 45 cm x 45 cm but height & dimension will vary from site to site. Contractor should quote the rate according to the condition mentioned and reviewing site.

Material and labour for cross arms, bracing supports, clamps fabricated out of structural steel such as ISMC, angle iron, flat iron sections including hot galvanised nuts & bolts, washers for single and two pole structure welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size for supporting of DI pipiline as specified and including of one under coat and finishing coat with aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide primer. Note :- Design should be approved by Engineer-in-charge prior giving orders for manufacturing the items.

M & L for testing of water sample at authorised NABL acredited / government laboratory for biological fitness of water on monthly basis including glass bottle for collection of sample. Note: Sample of water to be collected from wherever directed by Engr-In-Charge will be responsibility of contractor. (i) Collection of (08 samples each from incoming UG sumps and 04 samples from different locations of JSM). (ii) Collection of sample from all the places at a time will be considered as one job each time. (iii) Necessary test certificate shall produce for payment of RAR. (iv) Detailed lod book regarding collection of sample to be submitted duly signed by all concerned.
