BOQ (REPAIR/MAINT OF TOE WALLS AND SLABS IN TECH AREA AT AF STATION SURATGARH)

Removal of soil/muddy soil/ grass/vegetation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator or tractor ) or manual means in drains (not exceeding 1.5 m in depth ), including dressing of sides lift up to 1.5 m, including getting out the muddy soil and disposal of the same within a lead of 250 m from drain complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge.

Spreading and levelling by cutting & filling for any type of soils around Runway, PTT etc using tractor, leveler,cultivator, Harrow & tillers (min of 3- Rounds for complete area) including : (i) Clearing away all grass vegetation, saplings,shrubs, bushwood, undergrowth, roots, and removing rubbish to a distance exc. 1 km but n exc. 5 km all directed by Engr-in- charge. (ii) Rolling the ground includes for watering as necessary and consolidating to the required level, gradient or camber (using auto leveler) using 8 Tonne roller with sufficient water sprinkling to achieve proctor density upto 95%.

Taking down of cement plaster/rough cast plaster on brick or stone wall including raking out joints, hacking for key, scrubbing down with water and removal of rubbish in low lying area complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

M&L for rendering 15mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 on fair faces of brick/concrete including finishing the surface even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Preparation of new surfaces of walls and applying two coats of exterior acrylic emulsion paint, (in camouflage pattern using different colours), complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.

Demolition of unreinforced concrete of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for all as directed. Note : - (i)The concrete should be demolished in panels as per site requirement. (ii) The Concrete shall be cut sharply at all edges by diamond cutter in complete depth as per site requirement before demolition to ensure that adjacent slab panel is not disturbed as directed. (iii) Removal of debris from site of work as directed within MoD land exceeding 250m but not exc 500 m

M & L sand cushioning with clean river sand without residual,organic impurities, deleterious materials and spread evenly to uniform thicknesslaid over DLC layer complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and laying 400 micron thick HDPE sheet (Virgin quality) water proof, wrinkle free without puncture having minimum weight 390 gm/sqm over sand cushion with overlap between adjacent strips and at transverse joints as minimum 300 mm complete all as specified and as directed

Pavement quality concrete(PQC) of minimum 28 days field Flexural strength of 45Kg/ Sqcm or 4.5 Mpa, aggregate gradation as per Table 3 of IRC 15 2017, coarse aggregate of clean, hard strong, dense non-porous and durable pieces of crushed stone or gravel, fine aggregates of clean natural sand o crushed stone sand or combination of both using minimum 360 kg/cum of cement with non-circular virgin synthetic fibre of 12-18 mm length, specific gravity 1.34 to 1.39, UV stable, alkali resistant, with equivalent dia 15-40 micron, minimum melting temperature as 240°C and minimum tensile strength of 300 Mpa and at the rate as specified by the manufacturer. PQC laid, spread and compacted with slip-form paver of minimum 7.50 m width, including curing and tining by Texturing cum Curing Machine complete all as specified and directed. Required surface texturing to be done as specified in Clause 10 1 14 and Tabl~ 9 of IRC' 15-2017 (Synthetic fibre will be measured and paid separately as supply only)

Forming 25 mm wide expansion joint in concrete slab for full depth of PQC Ealry entry saw and subsequent cutting by using diamond bit cutter of appropriate size, straight and smooth edges. Joint cleaned thoroughly with application of compressed air. Joint shall be made dry, vacuum cleaned and free from dirt,oil, vegetation and other debirs. The Joint then filled with pre moulded 25 mm thick compressible polyethylene closed cell type filler board as specified, thereafter application of two coats of primer with thin brush by forward and backward movement at an interval of 30 minutes after placing the backup rod and before pouring the sealant. Placing of closed cell medium density crossed linked polythene form backup rod of 30 mm dia, over filler board and for top 20 mm filled with polyurethane based sealant, complying with BS 5212, BS-4254 and EN-141875-2003 with minium accomodation factor (MAF) of +/- 30% . Applying masking tap on the edge of joints and removing the masking tap after filling of sealant as per manufacturer direction completer all as specified and as directed.

M & L for forming 10 mm wide and 25 mm deep construction joint using diamond cutter and filled with PU joint sealant using mechanical means up to minimum depth 10 mm (depth above backup rod of dia 10 mm and above) with MAF complying with BS 5212, BS-4254 and EN-141875-2003 with minimum accomodation factor (MAF) of +/- 30% for hydrolysis/water resistance test including two coats of primer and providing 10 mm dia approved quality closed cell polythene back up rod complete all as specified . Note :- (i) Edges of joints shall be rounded up by mechanical means at the time of final cutting. (ii) Inital cutting shall be carried out within 24-36 hours of casting. (iii) Final cutting,rounding edges use of wase of back up rod to avoid deposition of foreign material in the joint upto filling of joints shall be carried out after 28 days. (iv) Use of masking tape on edge of joint before pouring of sealant and removing the masking tape after pouring all as specified.

M & L for forming 10 mm wide and 25 mm deep contraction joint(dummy joint) using diamond cutter and filled with PU joint filling sealant using mechanical means up to minimum depth 10 mm (depth above backup rod of dia 10 mm and above) with MAF complying with BS 5212, BS-4254 and EN-141875-2003 with minimum accomodation factor (MAF) of +/- 30% for hydrolysis/water resistance test including twocaots of primer and providing 10 mm dia approved quality closed cell polythene back up rod complete all as specified . Note :- (i) Edges of joints shall be rounded up by mechanical means at the time of final cutting. (ii) Inital cutting shall be carried out within 24-36 hours of casting. (iii) Final cutting,rounding edges use of wase of back up rod to avoid deposition of foregion material in the joint upto filling of joints shall be carried out after 28 days. (iv) Use masking tape on edge of joint before pouring of sealant and removing the masking tape after pouring all as specified.

M & L for preparation of road/pavement surface and applying two coats of oil based road marking paint as in line, dashes, arrows, letter etc with white , yellow, black colour complete all as specifed and as directed.

Supply only synthetic fibre non circular virgin quality as specified in Srl item 9 here in before.

Contract Amount shall be derived after deducting the amount of Schedule of Credit in General Summary of tender documents.
